Chapter One: Meeting White Fang

One morning as Alexis is walking around she sees a mouse and wags her tail before chasing after it. As Alexis jumps through some bushes after the mouse she then tackles into someone before getting up in a hurry growling.

"Hey what's the big idea?" A voice asks revealing to be a white and grey wolf pup.

"Who are you!?" Alexis asks angrily as she growls.

"Who are you!? You're the one who tackled me!" The pup says as he growls in annoyance as Alexis pins her ears back guiltily.

"Sorry about that.. Are you okay?" Alexis asks in concern.

"Yeah I guess. Why are you hunting anyway? You're just a pup. Isn't that your mom's job?" The pup asks as Alexis gives a nervous look.

"Let's uh just say that I learn to take care of myself. Part of growing up I guess." Alexis says.

"Well I'm not food. I'm a wolf like you." The pup says as Alexis chuckles slightly.

"Don't worry. I'm not a cannibal.. Too gamey anyway... I'm joking." Alexis says as the pup wags his tail.

"Oh. You're kinda strange that's for sure. So what's your name?" The pup asks.

"Alexis and you are?" Alexis asks as she smiles.

"White Fang. At least that's what my dad calls me." The pup says as he smiles.

"Well it's nice to meet you White Fang. Why are you out here alone?" Alexis asks curiously.

"Uh.. Well I was playing and kinda got lost. Hey! You wanna play with me? I don't have any liter mates to play with." White Fang says as he wags his tail happily.

"Sure! Bet you can't catch me!" Alexis shouts as she laughs and takes off running.

"Watch me!" White Fang shouts as he chases after Alexis.

*Timeskip*

"I really enjoyed meeting you White Fang." Alexis says as she is laying beside the creek with White Fang.

"I enjoyed meeting you as well. You're a lot of fun to play with." White Fang says as he smiles.

"You too." Alexis says as she wags her tail before the two hear howling.

"Aww man. I gotta go. My mom is calling me." White Fang says as he gets up.

"Do you really have to go so soon?" Alexis asks as she stands up.

"Yeah but we can hang out again tomorrow. Wanna meet back here?" White Fang asks as he looks at Alexis.

"Yeah! And don't forget!" Alexis says happily.

"I won't and you don't either." White Fang shouts as he runs off.

"It's a promise!" Alexis shouts happily as he wags her tail.
