It all started at Ichiraku's. Naruto was usually babbling on about god knows what when something he said caught the raven-haired Uchiha's attention.
"Yeah, My first time with Hinata was super weird, we were both each others first so we didn't really have an idea about what to do and all that- I ended up taking advice from Kakashi-sensei for god's sake."
Sasuke's interest piqued hearing this, he had no interest in Naruto and the Hyuuga girl's love life at all but he thought back to his first time with Sakura- things had gone smoothly, almost too smoothly... Sakura was his first but they had never had this talk. What if Sakura had some experience from before? No, Sasuke thought- even if she had Sasuke would have no problem- A lot of things could have happened in the time when he was gone from Konoha, maybe she found someone she liked and shared a night with him, it would explain why she was so good during his first time. Sasuke's fists clenched so hard he broke the chopsticks he was holding, he couldn't help but feel immense jealousy at the prospect of anyone else with Sakura- she said she'd always been waiting for him hadn't she? and there was no evidence it was just pure speculation.
"Teme, you okay?"
"Hn, I'm fine- I need some air. Bye."
Sakura returned home from the hospital, she changed her clothes had a bath and laid down in bed with a book she meant to finish- when suddenly she heard the door open, 'Sasuke must have returned from training earlier than usual today'.
"I'm home" He declared non-chalantly.
"Welcome home. Go freshen up then come to bed." Sakura patted the space beside her.
Usually Sasuke would get excited a after hearing, quickly have a bath then share the bed with Sakura, but today Sasuke just felt angry. Angry at the fact that she might've told another man the same thing. He knew he had no right getting angry over this, hell he left her to go to Orochimaru to get power- became an international terrorist and tried to kill her, if anything he didn't even deserve to have her by his side much less be her first. But the hopeless romantic side of him which believed in the age old tale of 'my only one true love' couldn't help but feel jealous of some other man even touching 'his' Sakura.
"What happened? I can tell you're angry about something."
How did this woman know him so well. Years he had perfected his stoic facade and she just comes and reads every expression he tries to hide. He should just ask her- he's most probably getting angry over nothing. He opened his mouth but his proud nature stopped him from asking. What if the answer was not the one he wanted? What if Sakura got angry that he even presumed that?
"It's nothing. I'm going out."
"-But you just came back, just tell me Sasuke-kun. Where are you goi-"
Sasuke teleported away before she could finish her question.
Sakura made her way to Sasuke's usual brooding place- The hair of the 2nd Hokage face on the Hokage mountain. What had riled him u so much? She was his 'soon to be wife' he should be able to tell her anything.
"Sasuke there you are. Don't run away like that- Now tell me what is the problem."
"I am the problem."
"What do you mean?" Sakura said tilting her brows in confusion.
"I left you and you had to go to another man to fulfil your needs."
'fulfil my needs' what was he talking about, she couldn't understand anything.
"I don't understand."
"Sakura... was I your 'first' ?"
Sakura suddenly got hit with the realisation of what he was saying- and boy did she get angry.
"Are you suggesting that while you were away from Konoha I was out 'philandering' with other men?" Sakura said with quiet anger.
Sasuke was no stranger to Sakura's anger and when he came back after the war and saw her hit Sai and Naruto so hard the smashed into walls with such force that they shattered them- he had made a solemn vow never to anger her. Sasuke of all people was scared of Sakura, and he needed to defuse the situation fast.
"No..."
"YOU PIECE OF SHIT - YOU REALLY THINK I HAD TIME FOR ALL THAT WHILE I WAS TRAINING HARD UNDER SHISOU AND SPENDING EVERY SINGLE DAY TRYING TO FIND YOUR DUMBASS AND BRING YOU HOME! "
"I-I was just wondering how you were so good during 'our' first time."
Sakura suddenly became flushed.
"NEVER-NEVER MIND ALL THAT YOU IDIOT."
Sakura wasn't the only one who could read Sasuke, Sasuke could read Sakura perfectly too.
"You're hiding something."
Sakura's gaze suddenly left Sasuke's eyes and focused on her shoes.
"I-I took lessons from Ino on how to please you and read that stupid novel Kakashi-sensei always reads to get tips..."
Sasuke never laughed, he never even smiled - but what sakura just said made him want to burst out laughing. He settled for a smirk and suddenly pushed Sakura into his chest into a warm embrace.
"Thank you for doing all that- just to 'please' me."
"You absolute Idiot, what part of 'I have always waited for you' did you not understand? "
"Sorry."
Sasuke kissed Sakura and they both made their way home.
