DISCLAIMER: I DON'T OWN THE RIGHTS TO ANY OF THE TWILIGHT SAGA. THIS IS A WORK OF FICTION USING CHARACTERS FROM STEPHANIE MEYERS' TWILIGHT WORLD. THIS IS FOR ENTERTAINMENT PURPOSES ONLY.
This is my first Twilight fanfic and the first fic I've written in several years. So be kind! lol
My story starts in New Moon prior to Bella hopping off the cliff. However, this is my Bella—so she may not be like the Bella from the movies…

It was only too easy to slip by the mangy mutts to make it to this cliff. Now, here I sit, high in the trees waiting.
Waiting for what you may ask?
Not sure.
Ya see, my knower went off and told me I had to be here. Sometimes I just know shit. Call it my non-gift, if you will. I usually don't get many details but I've learned over the years that it never steers me wrong. After the first few times, I learned to listen to it.
So here I sit.
Damn it smells terrible down here. How those Cullen's have a deal with these rank smelling mutts, I'll never understand.
The breeze got increasingly strong and the smell of a storm flowed through the air. With it brought the smell of lilacs and something woody. The smell had me on alert as I shifted on my tree branch. I watched as a petite girl with long chocolate brown hair that whipped in the wind made her way towards the cliff edge. It was at that point I decided to get off the tree and get closer to her.
"You won't be with me any other way."
What the fuck? This bitch talking to herself? Oh shit, she's about to jump. The waters were too turbulent for her human body to handle. So I darted forward and attempted to snatch her arm to prevent her from going over. But that only resulted in both of us going off the edge of the cliff. Well aren't I a suave rescuer? So I positioned my body around hers and hoped for the best. She was screaming—man I hope she closes her mouth before we hit the water.
Definitely not my best landing but I got her to the surface as fast as I could. She was choking on water—guess she wasn't smart enough to close her mouth. Her legs found their way around my hips and I was trying real hard to not think about our naughty bits smashing together as I trudged us out of the water to the shore.
"Who the hell are you?" Blue lips asks me before she looks right into my crimson eyes. I couldn't help but notice her deep chocolate brown eyes that matched her hair. I felt her freeze in my arms for a moment before her struggle became too much. Sure I could hold her all damn day but I didn't want to hurt her.
"Look, you might as well get this over with so you can go back and give good ol' Vicky the good news." She pulled her hair to the side and bared her jugular to me. She was shivering now but I'm not sure it's just from being cold and wet.
Who's Vicky? She thinks I'm here to kill her?
"What's your name?" I ask. I certainly can't keep calling her blue lips—though that is quickly becoming a problem. We have to get out of here and get her somewhere warm—and I tell her just that.
"I'm not going anywhere with you. I don't even know you!" She yells as she backs up, completely ignoring my question. I would call her smart for not turning her back on me but she is backing herself up against a stone wall so…
I was about to respond when I caught a snippet of red hair to her left right at the tree line.
"Red light! Don't move a damn muscle." I yell before taking off for the red head—damn this bitch is fast. I caught up to her deep into the forest when she turned on me.
"Protect her all you want but I will get to her when you least expect it!" The red head snarled.
"Ahh so you must be Vicky. I guess you won't mind me doing this." I said right as I snatched her left hand from her body. I was going for her head but she moved just right at the last second. She flipped over and landed on her feet with another snarl before taking off. The snarl face really did nothing for her face. Someone should tell her.
I should chase her but my knower is telling me to get back to Blue Lips. So I tuck Vicky's hand in my pocket and sprint back to her—only she isn't where I left her.
Son of a bitch.
I felt like a fuckin' hound dog sniffing out her woody lilac scent but finally found her attempting to climb towards where she left her belongings on the cliff. I decided to let her get herself back up there on her own. I watched and waited while she put her coat and bracelets back on. When she turned around with a small smirk on her face, I dropped from my tree directly in front of her.
"Clearly you need to go back to pre-school to learn how to follow directions."
"Holy fuck! A little warning next time?" She said as she jolted back, hand to her heart.
"So you have a red headed bitch of a vampire after you and you thought a stroll in the woods was a good idea?" My words gave her pause.
"H—how do you know about her?"
"Catch!" I yelled as I pulled Vicky's hand from my pocket and tossed it at her like a hot potato.
"Wh—what the fuck is this!?" She screamed and dropped the appendage as if it burned her.
I shook my head. "Wow, I was kidding about you having to go back to school but…ok, well let me be the one to tell you—" I paused to pick up the hand, "this is a hand—a left one to be more specific." I displayed it to her on my hand like a mini platter.
"Duh dumbass, I know that. Who was it attached to?"
I blinked at her for several beats. "Are you really this slow? Did the water do something to your brains?"
"Ugh! Who the hell are you anyway? You never did answer me." The girl asked, attempting to go around me.
"Uh yea, I kinda thought that catching the vampire that likely wasn't supposed to be on tribal land and oh—is also apparently trying to kill you—was just a little—now mind you just a very little more important according to you—than telling you my name."
"Ok, well thanks for the save Sparkles, but I'm going to go home now." She said, once again trying to get around me. She thought she was far enough to the side but I quickly pulled Vicky's hand from my pocket and held it far out to stop her. The shriek she let out was totally worth it.
"Why do you keep doing that? Stop it!"
"I just love the ear piercing shriek you let out every single time. It does things to me." I smirk and allowed her to pass and we walked into the woods.
A few moments passed and it was clear that she was lost. The huffing and sighs were really starting to get to me.
"Somebody's cranky. Forget your compass?"
"Somebody needs to shut up. Seriously why are you still here? If you aren't going to eat me, what possible reason do you have to still be here?" She asked and I, for once, didn't have a response ready to go.
"Honestly? I don't really know why I'm here." The look on her face was priceless.
"Ok, clearly you know what I am, which we'll talk about later about why you're still human and alive but right now, let's get my Sparkly ass off tribal land."
A/N: How was that? I don't know what it is about this pair but I love them! I've enjoyed writing them so far. Reviews would be welcomed!
