"Did you pack the sun screen?"
"Yes E. And I packed the towels and the beach toys."
"What about the baby flip flops?"
"He's got them on babe." Doug said, lifting the six month old baby's foot in the air.
The gang (consisting of Mal, Evie, Jay, Carlos, Audrey, Uma, Doug, Ben, Chad, Jane, Harry, and Gil) were on the way to Auradon beach. They've decided that they would all hang out together again because ever since most of them became parents, they haven't all had a real get together with each other since the last day of high school. Plus, it would be the children's first time going to the beach, so it was a win win.
As of this moment, Evie was going over the beach checklist for what felt like the millionth time with Mal, while Doug just watched them, holding his and Evie's son Isaac.
Evie was wearing a simple one-piece blue swimsuit with black high waste swim shorts and Mal was also wearing a one piece, but hers was purple and green with a beach robe. Doug was wearing a plain white long sleeved tee shirt with turquoise swim shorts and black sandals. Little Isaac was wearing a blue and white two piece swimsuit with a whale on the shirt, and slip-on sandals to complete the look.
"Well then I guess that's everything!... actually, can we check just one more time?"
"EVIE!" Mal and Doug yelled simultaneously.
"Fine then." She pouted as she put all the beach items into a big bag and headed to the living room with the three.
When they entered the living room, they found everyone sitting on the couch, looking bored as ever, waiting for them so they could leave. All the babies, minus Isaac, were sound asleep. Ben was holding Ben jr. (Benji) , Carlos was holding Adrien, one of Audrey and Jay's identical twins, and Jay had caught a ride on the sleep train as well. He was sound asleep on the couch with Arian laying on his chest.
"Finally you guys finished packing everything." Carlos said, getting up from the couch and walking over to the front door to put a sleeping Adrien in his car seat.
Chad got up as well. "Yeah what took you guys so long? We've been waiting here for like 15 minutes!"
"Sorry about that. Evie wanted to check everything like a gazillion times." Mal rolled her eyes and looked at Evie. She loves her best friend to death , but sometimes she does a little too much.
"Well it's only 12:30," Jane spoke up, looking at the clock. "At least the babies won't need a nap later."
"Yeah especially the big baby." Uma snickered, referring to Jay looking comfy as ever.
"Oh stop! They look so cute!" Audrey squealed, using the opportunity to take a pic of her husband and son.
Everyone got up from the couch and headed to the front door. Audrey carefully took Arian from Jay so she could put him in his car seat, and walked out to Ben's limo with everyone else. Harry was just about to leave as well until he remembered that there was still one more person left.
"Audrey! Ye really gonna forget bout em like that?" He called out but she was already entering the limo.
Ugh got to do everythin' me self eh? He thought to him self as he walked over to Jay.
"Hey Jay Jay! Wakey wakey!" He said but Jay didn't wake up.
"Jay Jay! Wake up!" He repeated.
No avail.
"JAY!" Harry yelled in his ear.
Not even a flinch.
"Wow you are a tough one aren ya?" He stated. "Okie we can play that way den."
Harry walked into the kitchen to find a cup. He checked the dishwasher and cabinets but couldn't find one. The only thing he found was a plastic green baby bowl.
"Damn why is Evie such a neat freak?" He whispered to himself. "This'll aft to do."
He walked over to the sink and filled the bowl up with cold water and strutted back over to Jay.
"I'll bet this'll wake ye up!" He cackled mischievously.
Harry quickly poured the water all over Jay's head and made a dash for the exit.
"WHAT THE HELL??! HARRYYY!!!" Jay hollered and sprinted after the pirate. He definitely would've caught up to him if he didn't have to turn around and close Evie and Doug's front door. By the time he locked it, Harry was already shutting the door of the limo, laughing through the tinted glass.
"Oh I'm gonna get him!" Jay said, angrily making his way to the car.
20 minutes later...
"Okay everyone. We're finally here!" Ben sighed as he parked the limo in the parking lot. The ride to the beach wasn't the greatest. After Jay got to the limo and tried to open the door, he figured out that Harry had locked him out and that just got his blood boiling to the max. Jay banged on the glass of the vehicle yelling at Harry from the outside until Jane had finally opened the door for him. Once he got inside, he basically attacked Harry, while Harry just yelped and laughed. It had taken Uma, Carlos, Audrey, and Mal to get Jay off of him.
When Jay had finally calmed down and sat next to Audrey, all of the previously sleeping babies had awaken and were screaming at the top of their lungs. Their mothers were all reprimanding Harry and Jay for waking them up and were trying to get them to calm down. Chad took Arian and tried to calm him down with a pacifier, but it didn't help. Mal and Audrey had successfully gotten Adrien and Benji to stop crying after giving them puff cereal snacks but Arian just wouldn't calm down. Chad gave him back to Audrey while Jay took Adrien and she tried to get Tim to stop crying. After about five minutes, his screams were only reduced to small sniffles. Isaac was the only carefree baby. He just sat there, staring at the mirror toy hanging from the top of his car seat.
"And THAT is why I do NOT want children." Uma stated matter- of- factly chuckling. Audrey just rolled her eyes, deciding that it was not worth another tantrum starting an argument with the arrogant pirate.
"At least we made it!" Gil cheerfully laughed. Opening the limo door and stretching his back.
"That was the longest twenty minutes of my life!" Chad groaned. "Babies are the worst. All they do is cry, eat, poop, and sleep."
"Hey! You take that back! Babies are the best!" Jane gushed. "They have those cute chubby cheeks, and their curious little eyes and-"
"Then why don't you and Carlos have one?" Chad cut her off and crossed his arms.
Jane turned as red as a tomato. "Because..."
"Because? You're gonna need to elaborate."
"Because we're too young. We're only 23!" Jane spoke, deciding to tell half of the truth.
"So what? You know how many people have kids at 23? Some even younger than that! Are you sure that's the only reason you don't have a baby? It's not like you two are virgins or anything."
Janes eyes got really big and she got even more red after he said that but tried to cover it up by turning around to face the limo door. Her sudden change of attitude did not go unnoticed by Chad.
"Holy shit! You two are virgins! Haven't you guys been married for like over a year?! I'm not even married and I've gotten laid plenty of times. Let's see, there was Sam, Jolie, Katie, Maya-"
"OKAY I GET IT! NOT EVERYONES LIKE YOU CHAD! NOT EVERYONE IS AS CAREFREE AND CONFIDENT AS YOU OKAY! NOW JUST DROP IT!" Jane cried and ran to the sand.
Chad just stood there dumbfounded and guilty.
"Oh no. What have I done?!"
Well that's the end of chapter one! This was my second attempt at writing a fanfiction story and I'm not sure how I like it lol XD I really only starting writing this because I had a few really great ideas for some fanfics but nobody else writes them so I decided to try to write it myself! Please tell me how I did! Feedback is encouraged:)
