Hi! Just Wanted To Start Off By Saying I Don't Own Any Of The Materials, And This Is Purely For Fun.
Anyways, Hope You Enjoy This Story
"Okay! Okay! I admit it, I was wrong. We do need that brat of yours, brother. I'm sorry for trying to kill him constantly. Is that what you wanted to hear?" A masculine voice thundered as they admitted their misguided beliefs. The speaker seemed more annoyed that they had to admit to being wrong than being wrong in general. The speaker looks to be a well-groomed man in his mid-forties wearing an expensive striped suit. Oddly enough, he can be seen gripping a staff made of pure electrical energy in his right hand.
Next to the speaker stood a tall, middle-aged man with a surfer tan in a casual Hawaiian T-shirt and cargo pants. The man stood around six-three, with a heavier build. As the first speaker, the man can be seen holding onto a weapon, a trident. "Well… Yes, I did want you to admit that you were wrong for trying to kill my boy at every step of the way, brother. It does put a smile on my face to hear you apologize as well." A second, masculine voice replied in a jaded manner. "Now I want you to say, 'I'm Zeus, and I'm stupid for trying to kill the only person that could possibly help us from this dire situation,'" The second voice continued in a mocking tone, prompting a growl of irritation from the first speaker, Zeus.
"Poseidon," A third voice perked up, cutting the man in the striped suit from speaking, "do you want to waste more time on mocking Zeus, or should we prepare the ritual? She's close, and we do not have that much time left." The third speaker had an almost soothing tone in his voice; unlike the other two, his voice was quieter but carried a sense of authority. The third figure looked to be a skinny man in his early twenties with an alabaster skin tone. He seems to be wearing an old and ragged robe. Unlike the other two men, this man doesn't look to be wielding any kind of weapon.
"Alright, alright, let's get this over with." Poseidon grumbled in a dejected tone, "She will discover our plan, and once that happens, she'll then send her minions after him again. A part of me trusts that Percy will manage to find a way to prevent this from happening, but another part of me knows that against these monsters, he may not stand a chance."
"Brother, as much as I detest that boy of yours, I believe he could go against destiny and free us from this horrible fate." Zeus chimed in with a softer tone than previously held in an attempt to reassure his brother.
"But pushing that aside, we must start the ritual; we are wasting time talking about nonsense. All of that happened, and now is not the time to dwell in the past." Zeus spoke in his commanding tone. "Alright, then let us start…" Zeus grabbed his staff and stabbed it into the earth itself. As the staff penetrated through the earth's crust, lightning sprung from the staff, launching upwards into the skies above, brightly lighting the surrounding area.
Giving a nod to his two elder brothers, Zeus signaled them to join him in the ritual. Poseidon, taking a deep breath in, followed Zeus' lead. Taking his trident, Poseidon proceeded to slam his weapon into the earth. The trident glided effortlessly into the soil below before firmly embedding itself. The ground started to tremble underneath the three as electricity arced between the two weapons. "I hope this works," Poseidon muttered to himself.
Not before long, dark clouds rolled overhead. With flashes of thunder overhead, the three began chanting in a long-forgotten language. As the trio started their chant, red runic inscriptions materialized in the nearby area before slowly converging into a circular shape. Gradually, as the winds picked up and the lightning crackle around the three, a small but visible tear in reality appeared. Minutes passed as the tear grows exponentially more significant.
Taking a deep breath in, Zeus began speaking, "Perseus Jackson—son of Poseidon—I at this moment request your help once again. Whilst it is unbecoming of me to request it this many times, I must make an exception for this dire situation. Perseus Jackson, you shall face an enemy we Gods have failed against; to aid you on this mission, I shall gift you the power to harness Lightning, may you use it wisely." Finishing his mini-monologue, Zeus stepped away from the runic inscriptions that circled the tear in space and time. The runic symbols looked as if they were reaching out at Zeus.
Some of the runes broke off from the central circle and slowly crawled towards the Sky God. Zeus attempted to back further away, only to be stopped by Hades placing a hand on Zeus' shoulder. "It will be alright, brother," Hades advised.
Poseidon, ignoring Zeus, cleared his throats as he knew he was next, "Percy, my pride and joy. You were everything a father could've wished for in a son. You were noble and kind even when people treated you harshly; even in the darkest of times, you kept your heart pure." Poseidon paused for a moment, "When I had learned of your death, I was truly devastated. I saw that the world sincerely lost one of the brightest beacons of hope and kindness. I've been given this opportunity to change all of that, and I will not take this for granted. To you, my son, I leave Endbringer in your care for the hard times ahead. The trident has served me well over the years, and I hope it will serve you well too." Unlike Zeus, Poseidon stood firm in place as the more runes broke free from the formation, crawling towards Poseidon. As the runes reached Poseidon's feet, they seemingly started to climb up the Sea God.
"I guess it's my turn, huh?" Hades questioned, "Perseus Jackson, when I had first met you, I had thought you were a pompous, and arrogant child seeking attention. When you were twelve, you boldly came into my domain uninvited and then dared to accuse me of stealing my brother's weapon. But I guess ultimately, that is what I liked most about you, kid. Like my brother and your father have said, you will have a rough time ahead of you. Hence to help you on your journey, I shall gift you the power I hold dear to my heart, the ability to Manipulate the Souls of others. May our gifts help you defy the Fates along with Destiny!" As Hades finished his proclamation, the runes had already clawed their way up Poseidon's and Zeus's torso, with some making their journey towards Hades.
"Hades, Poseidon!" Zeus cried aloud, "This might not be the best time to say. I'm sorry! I'm sorry for not being the greatest leader, and I'm sorry for all the pain and misery I've caused you both." Tears began streaming down Zeus' face as the runes crept up to his neck. Zeus felt a hand clasp his right shoulder, "I forgive you, Zeus. You may be an arrogant bastard, and there are times when I want to run you through with my spear, but we're still family; and you're still my younger brother. And family stick together." Hades reassured his younger brother. Poseidon opened his mouth, ready to comfort Zeus before their journey to the beyond, but was quickly cut off.
"My, my; what an interesting sight to behold. The Lord of the Olympians, Zeus, is crying? Who would've thought that Zeus of all people would have remorse? You are an arrogant ass, father. But I'm not here to discuss that at the moment. You three talk about defying destiny, and yet you didn't invite me to your little party?" A feminine voice ranged out. Immediately, the three Gods snapped their heads towards the source. Seeing a feminine figure dressed in a bleach white robe, with a blindfold covering her eyes. "Tyche!" Zeus exclaimed, "What happened to you? We thought you were dead!"
"That's neither here nor there, father; I'm here to ensure this is not our destiny," Tyche replied calmly before stepping closer towards the rift in reality. "I came to assist them as much as I can. Seeing how you three thought the best course of action is to gift the boy, I shall gift him a piece of me as well. To you, Perseus Jackson, I give you the power to manipulate Luck in your favor. May you forever be Fortunate, and I pray this too shall help you on your journey." Tyche proclaimed. Just like with the three Gods, the last of the runic inscriptions clawed their way onto Tyche.
Minutes passed as the four immortal deities were consumed by the runic inscriptions from the ritual. Each of them attempting to makes amend to one another for their wrongdoing. As the three brothers and Tyche were wholly consumed, the tear in reality slowly stitched itself together.
Unbeknownst to the four Greek Gods, someone had been watching the entire scene unfold. "Heh. Those foolish Gods believe they can defy fate, defy me." A sinister smile began to form on the figure, "The Olympians have created another thorn in my side, fine." The figure relented, "I shall also bestow a gift to you, Perseus Jackson. You will be my assistance in this conquest whether you like it or not. The Olympians believe you to be the key to my downfall, but they are sorely mistaken. You will be my greatest accomplishment, you will hand me the world on that silver platter, and maybe I'll make you my servant as a reward." The figure stalked their way towards the shrinking portal. "To you, Perseus Jackson, you shall be my Trojan horse against the Olympians to ensure my victory and cement this timeline." The figure chuckled, pulling down their hooded robes to reveal a surprisingly young girl with blonde hair and striking grey eyes.
Reaching behind her robes, the girl pulled out a strange metallic box. She chuckles to herself as she snaps the box into two, releasing a ton of metallic spores in the process. The spores started to make their way to the portal, "I hope you enjoy my gift, love."
