Summary: Champa has challenged Beerus to a Game of Baseball after being bested at a Pie Eating Competition. Now Beerus is assembling a team for the Seven on Seven at a Bar in The High Heavens.
"Wow… Kitty Fatso is such a sore loser, Beerus. Mind if I tag along to get him pissed off? That guy is a riot when he is mad." Bill stated as he laughed at the memories of the various pranks he often pulled on Beerus' twin brother, Champa. "I would like to join as well. I do like a good game every so often. Plus Lilith says I need to get out more often and her pregnancy is making her a bit unbearable…" Lucifer added on as he shutters by what happened to him last time when Lilith had her mood swings. He was lucky that she didn't beat him to a pulp… "She is definitely a feisty demoness. That was one of the reasons we used to date, Luci." Beerus replied as he took a drink of the liquor from his glass. "So, who do you have in mind for the team, Beerus?" Bill questioned as he looked towards The Feline Destroyer. Beerus immediately went into deep thought about who he should select for his team. He did suspect that Champa would choose Imperus, an Ascended Celestial of Valor, who was a rival of his in divine power. He was one of the few who could best him. Even if it was in a common Mortal Sport. "Besides you and Lucifer… I think I should try to see if I can get Alastor, Mephisto, Snatcher, Yaldaboth, and Dormammu on the Team." Beerus told Bill and Lucifer.
However, Lucifer was a bit skeptical about Alastor and Snatcher, Two Mortals who have ascended into Godhood by chance. "You sure those two are good additions to the Team? Alastor can be somewhat of a Wildcard and Snatcher is being watched by the Angel Glossaryck… And Glossy is often a major prick due to how little he cares about almost everything." Lucifer interjected with clear concern and clear intent to not try to reason with the little blue man… He and Imperius were the ones who threw him out of The High Heavens when he didn't exactly agree with some of Imperius' new laws for the Realm. Then again, Glossaryck, Vados, and Whis are trying to get Imperius to learn to overcome his rage and even live among Mortals for a time. Strangely, Imperius seems to be considering the idea since he wasn't exactly fond of Mortals. He recalled when Imperius had called for a vote when Mortals were forming into existence if they should be exterminated or allowed to choose their own fate. Tyreal, Mekhane, Raiden, and Auriel were the ones who saved Mortal kind since he and Maltheal didn't vote either way while most of the Divine voted against Mortals.
"I can think of something that would convince Glossaryck to allow Snatcher to join us despite Glossaryck's punishment for almost destroying Magic. What was the kid thinking? Magic is the Source Code of Reality and without it, we all would phase out of existence." Bill stated as he drank his own alcoholic drink that looked like a martini. Beerus looked at Bill with clear interest as he asked: "What do you have in mind, Exactly?" Bill then conjured a Pudding Cup from Thin Air. "Doubtful that it would be that easy to convince Glossy…" Lucifer declared with clear skepticism.
(After Giving Glossaryck the Pudding)
Lucifer was absolutely dumbfounded on how easily it was to convince Glossaryck with a pudding cup. "Huh, It WAS that easy…" Lucifer announced as a shadow construct followed Beerus, Bill Cipher, and Lucifer. "THANK GOD! Finally some time to myself! Taking care of my ki- Ahem… The Toffee from my world can be a handful." Snatcher announced with a clear nervous chuckle as he tried to avoid looking at the others. "Let me guess, Snatch. The kid growing on ya?" Bill asked with a clear smudged look on his face which made Snatcher glared at Cipher. In response, Cipher squealed as he backed away. Lucifer chuckled as he made his eyes glow with magic as he glanced towards Snatcher. "Come on, Snatcher. Be honest with us. Is the Human Child growing on you?" Lucifer asked with his eyes working their magic on Snatcher to make him tell the truth. Snatcher tried to resist the magic, but ended up failing. "Yeah and he feels like a son to me too…" Snatcher reluctantly replied. Lucifer smiled as the group arrived on the baseball field where Dormammu, Alastor, and Yaldaboth waited as Champa's team did some stretches to ready themselves.
Champa's Team consisted of Imperius, Auriel, Fujin, Corona, Ego, and Zarathos. Beerus was utterly confused on why Mephisto didn't show and that somewhat enraged him. Beerus wasn't gonna lose to his brother and the fact that one of their team members decided not to show was aggravating. "Why Didn't Mephisto Show UP!?" Beerus yelled in rage as Destruction Chi began to emanate from his body, but before Beerus blew a gasket. Whis suddenly appeared with a magic entity that was a woman with skin like Ivory, her hair colored like the colors of flames with small horns, and possessing an amazing build as well as figure to her form. This was the Lady of the Forge known as Hekapoo. Beerus blushed as she appeared wearing the sport uniform and tried to hide this as he turned away to clear his throat. "Ah, looks like we are on time Lady Hekapoo." Whis told her as he used his staff to change his outfit to a referee uniform as Hekapoo readjusted her baseball cap. "That's great to hear, Whis. I can't wait to cream that fat cat's face for insulting me at that Party that King Lucifer invited me to a year ago." Hekapoo declared as she cracked her knuckles in anger.
With Champa in earshot, he rushed over to Hekapoo as he charged a Hakai within his hand as he glared at Hekapoo. "Who are you calling Fat!?" Champa questioned before Beerus grabbed his brother by his ear and tossed him to the side. "I think she was referring to you, Kitty Fatso!" Bill yelled out as Snatcher blew an air horn for affect that he created. "Sup, Beerus. Haven't seen you in a while. How have you been?" Hekapoo asked as she walked over to him. "I have been well, Lady Hekapoo. You look lovely as ever." Beerus told her before immediately getting flustered by his choice of words as he mentally panics with Hekapoo laughing. As this exchange was happening, Lilith and Lucifer was watching the two from one of the benches on the sidelines.
"Good to see that someone has caught his eyes after such a long time from when I married you, Lucifer." Lilith told her husband with him nodding in agreement. "I will be grateful that he was very supportive of your choice to marry me, my love. Perhaps we should help the poor kitten with the Ivory Woman?" Lucifer asked as he looked at his pregnant wife who smiled back at him as she only said: "Possibly."
"So, are we gonna start the game or continue to chat among ourselves?" Questioned Vados as she looked at everyone questioningly. "I agree… I did not come out here for nothing. So, I suggest we get to the game before I lose my patience." Imperius declared as he glared at the others. "Right," Announced Alastor as he snapped his finger to change outfits, "Let's Play Ball everyone!" Alastor shouted out in excitement. "Before we started, let's all bow and say good game, Yes?" Whis requested with a smile. "I second that Brother." Replied Vados as both teams did so.
(Beerus Vs Champa: First Inning)
First up to bat was Champa with Snatcher as the Pitcher. Champa wasn't exactly gonna put any real effort in the game when he can have his other teammates 'Play for Him'. However, do some convincing from Vados, he was gonna at least try so he can get the lovely dinner that Vados promised him. "So, you ready for my pitch Champa?" Snatcher asked with a snicker. "Yes! Stop Stalling and just throw the ball, Damn It!" Champa shouted as he ready himself for the pitch. "Alright. Here it comes!" Snatcher announced as he did a dramatic sequence before throwing the ball, but the ball was flying through the air as fast as a turtle. Champa was very confused while Bill, Lucifer, Ego, and Beerus laughed at this. "Typical Snatcher. Well played though, Snatcher." Alastor told him with a smile. Due to Champa's impatience, he immediately struck out while trying to hit the Bugs Bunny's Slow Ball. Imperius just face palmed after seeing this.
(Beerus Vs Champa: 3rd Inning)
Lucifer had taken over the Pitching since Snatcher was too much of a prankster while doing it. Fujin walked up to the bat and was determined to show his skills in the game. "Bring the Challenge, King Lucifer." Fujin requested in a cocky manner. Lucifer smiled as he chuckled a bit. "If that's what you want, Wind God. But I will warn you that I am no pushover." Lucifer announced as he began his pitch. "Can you hit my Viper Striker Throw, Fujin?" Lucifer questioned as Lilith and Hekapoo cringed at the name he gave to his pitch. Long story short, Fujin struck out due to his overconfidence. "Ha, Ha, Ha! That's why I am one of the best pitchers from the Angels!" Lucifer boosted as Imperius went up to bat. Lucifer once again readied himself to pitch before tossing the ball. Although, when Imperius hit the ball. It rammed itself into Lucifer's hip causing him to yelp in pain. "You aren't supposed to hit the pitcher, Lord Imperius…" Vados told him with a sweat drop. Imperius groaned in annoyance as he ready himself again.
(Beerus Vs Champa: 4th Inning)
It was Imperius' turn to pitch with Lucifer up to bat who was practicing his swing. "So, how do you feel about Lucifer's chances?" Hekapoo asked Beerus who thought about this. "Frankly, he seems to have the most understanding of this game outside of Snatcher… So, pretty high." Beerus told to her. "Now, Lucifer. Brace yourself!" He shouted as he tossed the ball and once again it hit Lucifer hard in his hip causing him to be unable to play until he heals his injuries. "Jeezes… That hurt to watch…" Stated Bill as Hekapoo sighed as she went up to bat. "Lord Imperius… Please try not to cause any more injuries or else you will be disqualified." Whis told Imperius "Kick Him Out The Game Now For Hurting My Loving Husband!" Yelled Lilith in a fury that scared a few of the people near her.
Hekapoo took a breath as she readied herself to hit a homerun while Imperius took a deep breath. He then tossed the ball with blinding speeds, but Hekapoo was able to hit the ball and score a home run which won a cheer from her team as she ran around the field. "Lucky shot, Hekapoo." Imperius told her.
(Beerus Vs Champa: 5th Inning)
Lucifer was sitting on the bench waiting for his injuries to heal as Snatcher heads up to bat with Imperius as the Pitcher once again. "Ready to be shown why you can't compete with Celestials, Mortal?" Imperius questioned in slight rage as he readies himself to pitch. "We'll see about that entitled Angel." Snatcher stated with a smirk as he braced himself for the ball. Imperius then threw the ball with power strengthening the ball's speed and striking force. This slightly caught Snatcher off guard as he powered up his bat to make sure that he wouldn't be struck out by the Celestial. "You would be a fool if you think that I would just allow you to over power my best pitch, Mortal!" Declared Imperius as he threw off the pitching glove to send more power into the ball while Hekapoo freaked out from the showcase of godly powers clashing as she tried to score third base from Ego. Finally, Snatcher manages to make the ball fly outfield with Ego barely managing to catch the ball as Hekapoo scores Third and Snatcher First. "Safe!" Shouted Whis as Ego just realized what had happened with Champa chewing him out for this.
(Beerus Vs Champa: 7th Inning)
Currently, Beerus was up to bat with Lucifer on Second base and Hekapoo on third with Champa as the pitcher. "Ready to Strike Out, Beerus?" Champa asked in a mocking tone. "I doubt that you will be able to do that, Champa." Beerus told his brother with a smile. "Please just don't kill me with the baseball… I am just an innocent bystander as the catcher…" Alastor requested as he shakes in fear as the two Destroyers were about to face off. For a while, there was a silent tension in the air as both teams waited for something to happen as Imperius, who's defending First, watched both Hekapoo, who's on Third base, and Lucifer from First Based with Fujin defending Second and Ego defending Third. Suddenly Champa let out a yell as he threw with such ease, but Beerus managed to hit the ball. The Ball flies throw out the Air as Zarathos manages to Catch the ball from outfield and tosses to Imperius who outed Beerus as he threw it at Champa who once again hit Lucifer in his hip. "Why am I being used as target Practice?" Lucifer questioned as he lay on Second Base in pain. "Well, at least your safe Lucifer…" Vados told Lucifer.
"Well, that's what you get when you have a lousy manager Lucifer." Champa stated smugly as he smirked in a cocky fashion. Beerus was immediately pissed off by this statement and rushed over to Champa in rage. "You dare insult my management skills!? You couldn't manage your own weight even if you tried!" Beerus insulted as he clenched his fists. "Well, You're the one so lazy that he couldn't figure out if he ate garbage or actual food!" Champa retorted as he pushed Beerus off of him in rage. "I suggest that we find cover now before the two lose it…" Fujin suggested in a scared tone as he and the others went to find cover with Snatcher confused. "What's so bad about that? Would they destroy this place by simply fighting each other?" Snatcher questioned as a thunder storm started to form the rare power that both Champa and Beerus were emitting from their bodies as their fight grew more intense. "I would take this omissius sign as a yes…" Snatcher stated as he nearly dodged a lighting bolt before running like hell as the Destroyers started to punch each other out.
This fight continued for about 2 minutes, causing major damage to The High Heavens, before Whis and Vados stopped the two by smacking the two with their staffs. "Are you two TRYING to destroy this Realm?" Whis scolded as he glared at Beerus. "Why do we always have to remind you two of the dangers of you two fighting each other?" Vados questioned in a small rage. "Why did you stop us?! We aren't done with the Game!" Champa questioned in rage. "Actually, Beerus' Team won the game. I suggest that you look at the field." Whis told the two. They did so and saw Lucifer on Homeplate in The Yamcha's Death Pose. "Suck It, Champa!" Beerus told Champa before they almost started to fight again before Imperius knocked the two out cold. "Make sure these two get back to their Realms and have their naps…" Imperius ordered Vados and Whis in annoyance.
