Yeah so I have no idea what I'm doing. Ok well I have some idea, but it took me a while to figure everything out. I'm super excited; I didn't even know this site existed until about a week ago! Thank you, and enjoy!
Bonding Through Song
It was a normal day in Paris. Nothing terrible has happened yet; no Akumas, no theft, no earthquakes or anything… It's been a good day. The only thing that could make it better was…
As if on cue, Marinette heard a tap on her window. She looked up from her sketchbook with a big smile on her face. "It's unlocked!" the girl shouted.
Chat Noir, one of Paris's superheroes, opens the window and climbs into Marinette's room. He had been coming over almost every day, and every day their friendship grew.
"So…" Chat said. "What has my purr-incess been up to?"
Marinette giggled at his use of her nickname. "I was just working on some designs that I had left unfinished! Do you want to see th-" before she could finish, Chat was taking the book from her hands and staring at her doodles. They were amazing.
"These look stellar, princess!" Chat smiled, about to turn the page before Marinette stopped his hand. "No! Don't turn the page! I-uh… It's private!" She was turning the color of deep crimson. Chat really wanted to look, to turn the page anyway, but the look on her face convinced him not to.
"Ok, whatever you say, Mari." he murmured. In a louder voice, he said, "Why don't we listen to some music? You always feel better when listening to music!" Marinette had no idea how he knew this, but he was right. She always felt less embarrassed or mad when she listened to her favorite song on repeat.
Marinette moved to her desk, where her phone sat. She picked it up, and opened her music app. Soon, the song that she and Adrien had danced to was playing.
"Is this your favorite song, princess?" Chat asked her. He still remembered dancing with her at Chole's party, and this was the song playing. Marinette looked at him. "Well, yeah! I just- I mean I- well I really like the melody!" Not adding the fact that it gives me butterflies every time I hear it she continues in her head.
Chat held out his hand to her. "May I have this dance?" he asked in his prince-charming voice. Marinette giggled for the second time this evening. "Yes, you may, you silly cat."
And with that, they danced for hours under the glow of civil twilight.
