His footsteps echoed in the empty hallway as he walked towards the stairs leading up to the
roof.

He bent down to take off his shoes, when he saw Mallow sitting on the edge, her feet dangling,
hair braided by Lana's sisters.

He cursed a bit inside his head a bit pissed if he was honest with himself that someone got
there before him.

Despite himself, he yelled out, "hey! Don't do it please!"

Wait a minute, what did he just say? He couldn't care less either way. Again, he was pissed, a
perfect opportunity lost.

Mallow told him her woes. "You've probably heard it all before. I really thought that he might be
the one."

(Kiawe, probably, he thought.)

"But then he told me he was done."

(maybe Lana?)

"For God's sake please, are you serious? I just can't believe, that for some stupid reason you
got here before me!" he burst out. "Are you upset because you can't have what you wanted?
You're lucky that you've never gotten robbed of anything!"

Mallow looked startled for a second, before saying, "I feel better thank you for listening," before
she disappeared, braids swinging.

All right, today's the day, or so he thought.

Again, he went to the rooftop but just as he went to take off his shoes, there was a girl as small
as can be there, in the same position as Mallow, Lana.

Despite himself, he went and screamed.

The petite girl told him her woes "you've probably heard it all ignores me,
everyone steals, I don't fit in with anyone here."

Again he went, "for God's sake please, are you serious I just can't believe, that for some stupid
reason you got here before me. Cause even so, you're still loved by everyone at home, there's
always dinner waiting at the table you know!"

"I'm hungry," Lana said, as she shed a tear, then off the girl short as can be, then disappeared.

And everyday when he went up to the roof, there was always someone else there for him to
stop. He listened to their tales, he turned them away, but no one would do that for him, no one
shared his pain and there was no way to let it out.

For the very first time, there he saw, someone with the same pain as him. Having done this time
and time again, she wore a yellow cardigan (Lillie).

"I just wanna stop the scars that grow, every time that I go 's why I came up here
instead," said the girl with the yellow cardigan.

Whoa wait a minute, what did he just say? He couldn't care less either way. But in that moment,
he just screamed, something he didn't believe.

"Hey! Don't do it, please."

Agh-what to do? I can't stop her, this is new! I think I've bitten off more than I can chew. But even so, he just wanted her to go away, her pitiful expression was too much for him!

"I guess today just isn't my day." and with that, Lillie looked away and disappeared.

(There's no one here today, I guess it's time.
It's just me, myself and I.
There's no one who can interfere.
No one to get in my way here.
Taking off my yellow cardigan
Watching my hat blow away in the wind.
This petite boy short as can be
Is gonna jump now and be free.)

Ash Ketchum jumped off the edge of the Pokemon School, just as a hand shot out and grabbed him.
