Kagami was a strong person, and no one denied it. She was smart, pretty, and could kick some serious butt. She also had a soft motherly spot that not many people knew of. Kagami was famous for not only being the first girl fencer to win the world-wide championship, but for being Adrien Agreste' s girlfriend. They have a healthy relationship for about 6 years and counting. They would often get invited to talk shows with Najia to talk about their relationship, and what the "next step" would be and when to take it.

Kagami sat down next to Adrien on the couch in their house that he has surprised her with on their 5-year anniversary. Adrien coughed nervously, as Kagami laid her head on his shoulder, a habit she had picked up after the long flight to Tokyo she made with her Mother. Gently, Adrien nudged Kagami' s head.
"Kagami… can you sit up please? I want to talk to you"

Yawning, Kagami sat up

"yea, what's up?"

"Kagami, you're an amazing girl, I- uh…" Adrien scratched the back of his neck nervously, before continuing his sentence "I… Oh who am I kidding? It doesn't matter how much I sugarcoat it's still gonna be harsh."
This last statement surprised her… 'still going to be harsh'? What was he talking about?

"Adrien?" She questioned, looking at her boyfriend with worry "What are you talking about?"

"Iwanttobreakupkagami" Adrien said, in one breath looking away from her worried gaze.

"huh? Could you repeat it again, but slower?" She asked hoping she heard wrong

"Kagami, I want to break up…" Adrien says, slower but still not making eye contact. He flinched when he heard Kagami gasp.

"W-why? I thought we were doing good, I thought you loved me! I- We- but"

Adrien sighed,

"We are- I mean were… Kagami you'll find someone SO much better than me. I-I'm not the right one for you"

Kagami could feel tears well up in her eyes

"Adrien, I don't want someone better, I want you!"

Adrien turned his head and looked at Kagami, his eyes sad

"I know, Kagami, but… you're not the one for me." With that, Adrien got off the couch, grabbed his suitcases that were already packed and waiting upstairs, and left, leaving a teary-eyed Kagami alone in the house with only herself to comfort her.
