Hi this is BookShipper13. This is my first fanfic so please review on stuff to add. I will try to update weekly.

BK13: Do I own Keeper of the lost cities?

Keefe: No BookShipper owns nothing. Keeper of the lost cities is owned by Shannon Messenger.

BK13: Thank you Keefe.

Keefe POV:

I had been staying with Kit and his family for 6 months after I left the lost cities. I had been chopping wood outside of the house when I saw a girl. A blonde girl with brown eyes, one of the reasons I had to leave. "Keefe? Is that you?"

Sophie POV:

We spent 6 months searching for Keefe. Six months scouring the globe. We had to go to Lady Gisela to get some information about where Keefe had been. And after six months, I found him. . I found him in a red sweater and jeans, I had only seen him in human clothes once. It was garring after being surrounded by capes and dresses. He was cutting wood oblivious to my inner thoughts. He didn't notice me till I got up the hill. "Keefe? Is that you?" I asked in disbelief. He looked as if it hurt to see me.

Keefe POV:

"Hey Foster. Not wearing Dex's fancy gadgets?" I asked, trying to ignore her loud emotions. I didn't want to feel her betrayal and hurt , but all I felt was relief and happiness

"Not anymore. I can control my ability now," she took a deep breath and blurted out "Why did you leave?"

"The Neverseen would have found me and used my ability if I stayed in the lost cities. I had to." I turned around and continued chopping wood.

"We've been worried sick," she said coming around so she could see my face.

"Yeah I can tell." I said, waving a hand in front of my face "Those some strong emotions Foster. As much as I would like to talk, you should go back to the cities, and I should get back to work."

"Alright," she said plopping down on the snow, "only if you come with me."

"Sophie…" I said lowering my ax and sighing, "I'm happy here. I go to school, I've made friends. I can't go back. Not now."

"Please. Come back, for me." She said now pleading with me.

"I'm sorry I can't. Not without endangering you." That's when I slipped. The words came out, the words that I've been holding back for months. "Go back Sophie, before I force you."

"You would never," she says with so much conviction I believe her. I could never do that to her. Never, never her. But before I could say anything she started to levitate above the trees. "Bye Keefe," she says right before she drops and teleports to who knows where.

Sophie POV:

"Well did you find him?" asked Biana, rushing to where I landed.

"Yes, I found him," I answered.

"So… Where is he?" she said looking side to side.

"It's complicated I need to talk to Grady, Edaline and Alden."

"Oh they're in the house with Fitz and Dex."

It took a few minutes to get to my house. "Mom?"

"Sophie did you find Keefe?" asked Edaline.

I didn't answer for a long time "Mom, dad, Alden, I need to talk to you." I said.

"Ok," said Edalaine as she snapped her fingers conjuring a very large plate of mallowmelt.

I told them about what Keefe said and all of them looked like they were pale when I said my idea.

"That boy really should have came back" grumbled Grady.

"I don't think this is a good idea Sophie." said Fitz.

"I'll make sure I transmit every night and keep you updated about Keefe. I'm the only one who knows where he is."

Alden stood up, I was worried that he was going to say no, but instead he said "You have a month to try to get Keefe back."

"WHAT!" shouted Fitz and Dex, "How come she gets to go to the forbidden cities by herself."

"You guys know Sophie isn't going to give up. It's better that she agrees to keep us updated than to have her run off by herself."

"Are you ok with this?" I asked Grady and Edaline.

"No but we know you wont give up and as Alden has said its better for us to know where you are then to have you disappear." Grady said.

"Alright I'll start to pack." I said running upstairs, with Dex and Fitz at my heels.

The next morning I woke up early to leave. "Stay safe Sophie," said Edaline

I started to walk towards the cliff with my purple backpack, stuffed to the brim, on my shoulder. While I was hurtling towards the rocks, I whispered "Keefe I'm coming."
