Prologue
With tensions rising in Hong Kong, police reaction to the situation have started becoming more violent towards protesters and civilians alike. Siu Mei Lin, still holding a respectable position within hkpd, does what she can to keep the police violence to a minimum as well as managing to get several other districts on board with helping deescalate the situation. When higher ups started catching on to what she was doing, she was threatened with loss of rank and special duty privileges. Not being able to afford losing the ability to work with team Rainbow, she has no choice but to bite her tongue for the time being and follow orders until missions from Rainbow come up.
