Hey so I obviously do not own any of these characters cause im not rr. hope you like it and feel free to review :)

Sometimes Percy hated his luck. No scratch that - it was more like all the time. He was pretty sure that the fates and the Olympians were cackling at the new season of the shitshow that just so happens to be his life.

After the war(s) as if one was not fucking enough, it was common to see campers having panic attacks, flashbacks you know the usual consequences of undergoing severe trauma before you were a legal adult. Just one of the many costs of being a demigod other than being a pawn for the gods. Sure the Apollo campers, and more recently the therapists in New Rome were a blessing but there was only so much one could do.

It wasn't like he was excused from any of the residual side effects but he couldn't help feeling like a complete and utter fraud for being a prisoner by his own mind. The two time champion of Olympus shouldn't be afraid and reduced to an anxious mess upon hearing a mildly loud sound for gods sake. Yet here he was.

Over the years, he had learnt the vital skill of covering up his own tracks. Applying makeup whenever Gabe punched a little too hard, wearing dark sleeves to cover up the scars and so on. When he was younger it was easier to hide, having no friends till he was 12 meant that the only person he really needed to fool was his mom which considering the fact she was barely at home as a result of her numerous jobs wasn't as hard as it should have been. His reputation as a problem child helped too - no would would figure he was crying in the bathroom.

Yet as he grew older and had friends, actual people who cared about him (which he still found astounding to be honest) he realised that it was harder to conceal them. It wasn't like he was going to burden them with his own troubles, they had way more important work and others who needed the help more than him.

He knew the others were surprised to realise that he seemed to be able to carry on just fine when most of the newer campers had panic attacks over their first monster. If not anything else, his time with Gabe thought him to hide them pretty well lest he needed to cover up more, it was a vicious cycle really.

He guess he shouldn't have been surprised when one of the 7 found him like this - it was bound to happen sooner or later and with the sudden free time to contemplate his life, it seemed as though his brain was intent on making everything 10x worse than usual by getting set off at the smallest thing.
