Fourteen months after their wedding, Waverly and Nicole officially became parents - to three beautiful little girls. They knew multiples were a risk from the beginning but had still been caught off guard by triplets. But despite how freaked out they were, they knew they had their family's support. Nicole didn't exactly enjoy pregnancy, especially near the end, so she was grateful the babies had finally found the exit and vacated her body. Plus, she enjoyed meeting them and learning about their personalities. "They are so tiny and quiet," Wynonna whispered as she stared in awe at her nieces.

"Yeah, that's not going to last for long so don't jinx us already, please," Waverly begged her sister as she wrapped her arm around Nicole. She was so proud of her wife.

"I get sister?" a hopeful Alice asked her parents.

Wynonna and Doc exchanged a panicked glance. "How about we talk about it later, sweet girl?" Doc tried.

"Okay." That answer seemed to satisfy Alice for now but they knew it wouldn't last for long. They'd be lucky to get fifteen minutes of silence from her, but that's okay - they had missed so much with their daughter and loved how inquisitive she was.

Waverly scooped up the oldest, Winter, out of her carseat, and beamed at the baby. "Please stay asleep, okay? Your mama and I need all the help we can get."

"That's what I'm here for," Wynonna reminded her as she straightened out Wednesday's blanket.

Willow cracked open one of her eyes then just as quickly closed it. "So that was weird, right?" Nicole had no idea.

"I'm guessing everything a newborn does is weird." Doc shrugged when Nicole and Waverly glared at him.

"They're all perfect so shut the fuck up, John Henry," Waverly warned.

"Of course they are. They're your daughters."

"Hey, I'm the one who carried three babies inside of me. I'm the perfect one, thank you very much." Nicole smirked at them and crossed her arms, daring them to contradict her.

All of them were smart enough to refrain from doing so. "You are perfect and I will never be able to thank you enough for this." Waverly leaned over to kiss her wife and they got caught up in the heat of the moment for a second before Wynonna cleared her throat.

"Gross!" That declaration came from Alice and they all started laughing.

Nicole noticed Jeremy eying the babies and smiled at him. "You want to hold one?"

"Uh, sure." He nervously held out his arms and tried to calm down when Wynonna picked up Willow and handed her over. "Hi," Jeremy murmured. The baby cooed, and he melted, although the fear made his body tremble a little.

Waverly wanted to get up to grab something to eat from the kitchen but she couldn't move with Winter in her arms. All four of her girls had her wrapped around their little fingers. Still immobile, she asked Wynonna to get her a snack, and her sister immediately complied (without any complaints, but Waverly doubted that would last long). "I love you, Miss Winter. You too, Nicole."

"Right back at you, baby." Nicole couldn't believe she and her wife were mothers now. Still a bit hard to comprehend sometimes. She beamed at Waverly and gave her a quick peck on the lips.

"Can somebody take her? I'm afraid I'm going to drop her," Jeremy said.

They all side-eyed him but Doc quickly took Willow off his hands and kissed the baby's forehead. "You're safe now," he teased.

"Fuck you," Jeremy teasingly hurled back.

"Nedry will be by later - he ran into some issues at the bar," Wynonna suddenly remembered. They all knew he couldn't wait to meet his surrogate granddaughters.

All at once, the triplets woke up and started to cry. Waverly hung her head and moaned. "And so it begins." But she didn't really give a fuck.

They quickly took care of the situation and everything soon quieted down, although Alice refused to take her hands off her ears. She sat and glared at her aunts, a look of betrayal on her face. No one was moved - they found it adorable. Waverly even snapped a few pictures on her cell so she could blackmail Alice with it when she got older.

Although Doc and Alice (along with Jeremy) headed out to get out of their hair for a little while about half an hour later, Wynonna stuck around so she could help her sister and sister-in-law out. With all three babies sleeping in their bassinet, Waverly and Nicole took advantage of it and went down for naps of their own.

When they woke up about an hour and a half later, Waverly brushed the hair out of Nicole's face and stared at her. "You're even more beautiful now, Nicole Haught."

Nicole flushed. "You told me repeatedly the whole nine months."

"And it's true," Waverly insisted. She picked up Nicole's hand and gave it a quick kiss.

Winter, Wednesday, and Willow were the loves of Nicole and Waverly's life and they were in for a rough ride, especially in the days ahead, but they had planned for this. And they had a whole ass army willing to go to battle and help them whenever needed. They were pretty fucking lucky, something they'd never take for granted. They could do anything as long as they had each other.
