Area 88, One of many places set up by Stranded Terran's upon the continent of Europa, Armed with tech beyond what this new world has. However as Tension's between the empire and the federation boil over, and confiscated area 88 technology is discovered. actions would need to be taken by the area 88 council, both to gain intel on the local progression and to counter (AU/OC).

Chapter 00

February EC 1934,Abandoned industrial town, United Kingdom of Edinburgh

An azure vortex appeared within an old, obsolete Industrial town. Led to a peculiar sight, on the old train tracks a longe freight train stopped from the vortex into the District's Marshalling Yard. The occupants were confused as first, before regaining their composure. The first thing they did was begin to convert the place for their own use first getting the power plant back online, then the living quarters and finally the factories as they off loaded their cargo. Their technology far exceeding that of the Era or local area.

"I'm saying, if the locals find out about us, they'll get restless" The foreman of the train said as a scientist then replied.

"It shouldn't that bad if they get a little restless"

April, EC 1934

2nd

While the young Liam burning was sent to train in the Local Military as a late arrival. The base that was being modernized and improved upon begun limited production of the EXO-Frame, an eight and half feet tall humanoid shaped mechanical vehicle made from Nanotechnology. With a process of thought based controls via a saddle like seat. Development of adaption kits for various purposes begins in earnest.

Meanwhile Project Soldat, a project aimed at parasitising EXO-Frames with Conventional Technology for combat use. Work had begun on the slow side, as the conversion of the district for their own use was still on going. Rumours of their presence slowly spread among the locals and abroad.

On April the 25th, A Cargo container containing eight dormant EXO-Frames. Is Confiscated by a imperial unit when the driver strayed too far into Imperial Territory. Cargo Is transferred to the Capital, the Imperial Science Broad is assigned to Analysis and reverse engineering of the artefacts.

July, EC 1934

15th

In the labs of the Imperial capital, Initially the imperial court are not impressed with the EXO-Frame's initial appearance. However that changed when one of the captured EXO-Frames was activated in front of the Emperor himself. The Emperor launches project Xenogauge, with the goals of emulating the functionality and form of the EXO-frame for mass-production. As closely as humanly possible. Meanwhile, a unmanned vehicle programme is started as a side project. Imperial R&D expenditure increases drastically.

18th

Vinlandian Scientists come into contact with a small abandoned barge with dormant EXO-Frames on board. The EXO-Frames are taken back and large scale R&D programme is started to match and emulate the technology within the EXO-Frame.

On the 29th, A PMC Called Cerberus is established. Lead by Mark Reshep, as a profit driven Organization. The EXO-Frame inadvertently led to a rumour of a place codenamed 'area 88' being somewhere in the European theatre. Though reports of Unusual activity are seen in central, Edinburgh lend some credit to the validity of these rumour. Meanwhile, the Area 88 personnel use fronting companies to export up to world war two area technology across the globe, unknown to them the EXO-Frame was accidentally leaked to the public.

January, EC 1935

Tension begin to boil over as Border disputes flare up over the course of the winter. Europa is now on the verge of war. Meanwhile Gallia Received thirty containers of Dormant EXO-Frames.

March, EC 1935

Mark Reshep's Cerberus PMC is commissioned to act as military advisors for the Gallia Militia. Meanwhile on the mainland front the empire launches a surprise attack on the federation. Liam is Discovered as being a member of Area 88 and is reassigned to the armoured ranger corps under Claude Wallace's command. Area 88 Authorizes Cerberus and Liam to use modified EXO-Frames in combat.

The Second European war was on.

Authors note:This is a Chronology format Prologue. So I kind of deliberately omitted character interactions until chapter 01. which will mark the kick off point for Liam Burning, the protagonist.

I also wanted to establish some important background information as it would explain some of the changes in the background and battlegrounds of the EWII. I might Write a side Story after this one on the members of Cerberus. Thought that's for a later date.
