A little note before we begin. This is meant to a be fun little story that I am writing for practice after years of not writing anything, to practice writing in the third person again, and to practice writing out of my comfort zone. I am not the biggest fan of MK, and the only reason this story was born was because I actually liked the plot driven MK 9, 10, and 11. This will also be posted on AO3, thought the two stories are exactly the same, except Fanfiction keeps my formatting, thank god. This will not be a work of Shakespeare, and you will probably see the plot twists coming from a mile away. This will contain fluff, lemon, smut, and some good old fashioned ass kickings. And for visual reference, I use Sub-Zero's look in MK 11. I personally think it's the best between 10 and 11.
This will eventually link up with the end of MK 10 and all of 11. I take some creative liberties with the plot and timelines. And, obviously, Sub-Zero may be a little OOC, but I feel I don't take it too far.
Disclaimer: I own nothing but my character and ideas.
Chapter 1:
Kuai Liang had to be seeing things. He had to be. There was no way what he was looking at right now was true. It had to be a trick of the light mixed with the shadow stretched out in front of the tiny manmade hut.
At least that's what he thought until the two people stepped out into the bright Outerworld sun and started to walk down the road.
One of them was a young boy, maybe seven or eight, wearing a blue shirt, black pants, and blue boots. He had pale skin with short black hair that was frosted white at the tips, and he was holding the hand of the person next to him. Kuai slid his gaze to the other person and froze in shock. The other person was a woman. Young, tall, and willowy with the same pale skin and jet black hair. Hers was long, curly, and looked to have strands of white running through it. Half of it was pulled up into a ponytail. She was wearing a blue tunic belted at the waist, black leggings, and blue boots.
They were Cyromancers, nearly full-blood by the feel of them. Kuai's Revenant side suddenly woke up, causing him to almost jump out of his skin, and demanded that he claim the woman as his own. It took everything he had not to go over to the woman and pull her up on his horse with him. Grimacing slightly, Kuai wondered why his Revenant side decided to wake up now, after nearly five years of silence. Was it due to the young woman? The need of his dark half to claim her did get stronger every time he looked at her.
Nudging the beast forward, he followed the two at a hopefully not too suspicious distance. For a brief moment, he wondered what he was doing, following these two strangers home. Was he seriously listening to his Revenant side? Was he seriously going to knock on their door and ask if he could take the young woman home with him? And, if he did, what would he do with her? Train her to be part of the Lin Kuei? He grimaced again as his other half responded, conjuring up a mental image of exactly what he wanted Kuai to do with her. She was naked and pinned beneath him, screaming his name as he roughly fucked her on his bed, her legs thrown up over his shoulders. He quickly pushed that thought away and tried to ignore it, hoping that his dark half would go back to sleep if he did.
'You spoke of wanting a bride, did you not?' his other half suddenly said, making him flinch. 'To continue our line? What are you waiting for? Take her and claim her. Fill her with our seed, our child.' When he didn't respond, it chuckled. 'Do you need me to do it, Grandmaster? She'll be with child before the day's end if you say yes.' Kuai could hear the sarcasm in his other half's voice.
'No,' he immediately replied. 'You will keep your hands off of the young woman. Even if I would ask and even if she agreed to be my bride, it would be of her own volition. You or I would not force her hand.' Thankfully, his dark half temporarily went silent after that.
But now that he had said it, it made him start thinking about it. Would he ask the young woman's parents? He had briefly thought about and discussed with Johnny Cage finding a wife and having children. Though, to be honest, Johnny had been the one to bring it up that day, and that had made Kuai think about it. He had put it from his mind after returning to the temple because he didn't have time for a wife. Rebuilding the Lin Kuei took all of his time and energy. However, ten years had passed since then, and the Lin Kuei was now running smoothly. Did he now have time to do what Johnny had discussed with him?
The young boy and woman finally stopped and went into one of the huts. Dismounting from his horse, Kuai tied it to the nearby post and went up to the door, knocking loudly. It didn't take long before a buff, middle-aged man answered the door. He looked identical to the young boy with bright ice blue eyes.
"What do you want?" asked the man looking Kuai up and down. He froze upon seeing the Lin Kuei insignia clipped to Kuai's belt, his eyes going wide before snapping back up to the other man's face. "By the Gods..." he muttered, looking at Kuai like a fan who just saw their favorite celebrity. "Are you... Sub-Zero?"
"Yes, it's a pleasure to meet you," said Kuai holding his hand out, which the other man quickly and enthusiastically shook. "I'm Kuai Liang, Grandmaster of the Lin Kuei."
"Xerxes Li," introduced the other man. "If I may ask, what are you doing in Outworld? This place isn't exactly friendly towards people like us."
"I'm doing a small job for the OIA. Usually, I don't step foot out here unless I'm forced to. You understand," replied Kuai, leaving out that he had followed the two young ones home to ask about the woman. And, now that he saw the older man, he was glad he left that part out. That young woman may not be as young as she looked, and that boy may have been her son, not her brother. His dark half bristled at the thought of Xerxes being her husband. At the thought of Xerxes touching and ravaging her, probably fucking her senseless night after night after night. Kuai pushed those thoughts away and ordered his other half to shut up.
"Don't worry about it. I get it; we live here." Xerxes was about to ask why Kuai had knocked on their door when he realized he was making Sub-Zero, the Sub-Zero, stand outside their house like a stranger. Xerxes pulled the door open all the way and gestured the other man inside. "Please, come inside."
Kuai stepped into the hut's cool interior and followed the other man to a small table set in the middle of the large, open room. The space was sparsely furnished, though that wasn't an odd thing in Outworld, with two doors on the wall opposite the entrance and a wood stove pushed against the left-hand wall. A tall woman with long blonde hair stood in front of the stove, her back turned towards them.
She turned around at the sound of Kuai's voice, and the Cyromancer couldn't help but stare back at her. She was tall and willowy, with the perfect hourglass figure and a delicate, breathtakingly beautiful face. Her long hair went down to the small of her back and was the color of sunflowers, her eyes were bright forest green, and her smooth, unblemished skin was almost as pale as Xerxes. And, when she spoke, her voice was like the sound of bells ringing. "Xerxes, dear, who is this?" she asked, going over to the other man.
Xerxes wrapped an arm around her thin waist. "This is Grandmaster Kuai Liang," he replied, looking up at her, smiling when she looked at him confused. "He's Sub-Zero, my love."
She looked over at Kuai in surprise, a delicate, thin hand flying to her mouth. "Oh my. It's an honor to meet you, sir," she said with a slight bow. "I'm Hera Li, Xerxes' wife."
His dark half jumped for joy at that news. The young woman wasn't married and wasn't being fucked senseless by... "Hera?" asked Kuai, ignoring his other half's thought. What was his Revenant's fascination with the young woman? She was beautiful, at least what he had seen of her, but it wasn't like Kuai hadn't met beautiful women before. What was so special about this one? "That's an unusual name for an Outworlder."
Hera smiled, her face lighting up like the sun. "My mother named me. She was an unusual woman," she replied, placing a hand on her husband's shoulder. "What brings you here, Grandmaster? Outworld isn't exactly friendly towards your kind."
"I'm doing a small job for the OIA," he said, still keeping why he had followed the two young ones home to himself.
"If that's the case, why did you knock on our door?" she asked, pressing herself closer to her husband. "Are we part of your job?"
Kuai shook his head before the two of them could get the wrong idea. "No, I followed two young Cryomancer's here. I never thought I'd see another of my kind, so I decided to follow them and say hello," he explained.
Hera and Xerxes glanced at each other, looking relieved. "So, you're the man that Kali said was following them home," said Hera, smiling. "Thank the Elder Gods. We feared Shao Kahn had found us."
Kali? Was that her name? "Is that the young woman?" asked Kuai, deciding to throw out the idea of marrying her and see how they reacted to it.
"Yes, that's my daughter's name," said Xerxes, proudly. "Akali Li. My son is named Loki Li."
Loki? What was with this family having odd names? But, Kuai let it go because he was tired of listening to his Revenant half talk about the girl. "Actually, there is another reason why I followed your children home," he said, catching Xerxes and Hera's full attention.
The couple glanced at each other before Xerxes spoke. "Which is?" he asked, almost seeming like he knew what Kuai was about to say.
"I am also looking for a wife," he said, not surprised when Hera's shoulders slumped and Xerxes turned his head to look at the wall.
"I knew it," whispered Xerxes before turning his attention back to Kuai. "That's why you followed my baby girl home."
The other man didn't sound angry or upset about it; he had said it like he was describing the weather outside. Hera seemed to take it harder. She had turned around, and Kuai could see her shoulders trembling. He was about to say something to her, to soothe her, when a different person suddenly spoke up. It was another female's voice that had the same bell-like quality as Hera's.
"Father, who is this?"
Hera and Xerxes looked in the direction of the voice, the former promptly bursting into tears. Kuai followed their gazes and froze.
Kuai Liang had never been one to believe in love at first sight. Not as a child growing up in the old Lin Kuei temple or as an older man and Grandmaster of the Lin Kuei. But, one close look at the young woman standing in the doorway had him questioning his nonbelief. If Hera was a stunning vision, her daughter was a goddess in human form. She looked identical to her mother in her face and figure except for her hair, eyes, and skin, which she obviously got from Xerxes. Kuai's eyes flicked back up to Akali's face and met with her ice blue ones. They looked like sparkling crystals set into her head. His breath lodged painfully in his throat, and his Revenant half immediately started screaming in his head to claim her. It took every ounce of willpower to keep his twin contained.
"Sweetie, come sit down," said Xerxes, gesturing to the chair next to him.
"Why's Mother crying?" asked Akali, taking a step towards the crying woman.
"I'm fine, sweetheart," assured Hera, turning to her daughter and wiping her eyes dry. "Just listen to your father, dear."
Akali looked between the three of them, confused, before sitting down, turning her attention to her father. "This is Kuai Liang, dear," said Xerxes, nodding at the other Cryomancer. "He is the Grandmaster of the Lin Kuei and Sub-Zero."
The young woman turned her head to Kuai in surprise, and the Cryomancer almost melted under her gaze. "Really?" she said, eyeing him closely. "This is the famous Sub-Zero?" With all the stories she had heard about him, she had expected him to look... rougher, more dangerous, more like a person that could kill her before she could blink. But the man that sat next to her looked ordinary. Like she could have walked past him on the street and not even noticed him.
His voice suddenly pulled her out of her inspection. "Infamous may be the better word, Akali," said Kuai, already liking the way her name rolled off his tongue.
Xerxes put his hand on his daughter's shoulder, getting her attention. "Dear, I'm not going to lie to you or sugarcoat it," he began, causing his daughter to raise an eyebrow at him. "Sub-Zero came to Outworld in search of a wife."
Akali turned her head sharply to Kuai but didn't pull away from her father. She stared at him for a few seconds before speaking. "And, you made this decision without asking me?" she said, looking between her parents. To Kuai's surprise, she also didn't sound angry or upset; she also had asked it like she was asking what was for dinner.
"Of course not, sweetie," said Hera, coming over, kneeling down, and hugging the young woman. "This decision will be all yours since this is your life." She glanced sharply at Kuai. "And I hope the Grandmaster will honor your decision if it is a 'no.'"
"Of course," said Kuai immediately. "I will not force her to do something she does not want to."
Even though Kuai and her parents had said it was her choice, Akali really didn't have one. Meeting another Cryomancer was rare. Meeting another Cryomancer that was looking for a wife was even rarer. Akali knew that this could happen someday, and really... it could have been worse. Kuai wasn't ugly by any means. If anything, now that Akali studied him closer, he was actually quite handsome, even with the nasty-looking scar running down his right eye. Tall and muscular, with short black hair, well-groomed facial hair, and brown eyes. She suddenly wondered what his facial hair would feel like against certain... private parts of her body. She resisted the urge to shiver and pushed those thoughts away. As long as he treated her well, treated her like an equal in their marriage, even after having kids, which she guessed was his goal, she could make this work. "I'll do it," she said, turning to her father.
You could have knocked Kuai out of his chair with a feather at that moment. This Earth-bound goddess had actually said yes? "Are you sure, sweetheart?" asked Xerxes, taking his daughter's hands. "You do realize Sub-Zero will want children? You do know what that means?"
Akali huffed. "Of course I do, father. I'm not a child. If that's what Sub-Zero wants," she began, glancing at Kuai, her cheeks turning pink as her thoughts went back to what his facial hair felt like. "I can handle that."
"As long as you are sure," said Xerxes.
Akali nodded. "We always knew this would happen if we met another Cryomancer, and I've prepared myself for this. So, I'm sure. You don't have to worry, father," she said, patting his hand before turning to Kuai. "I do have one request, though."
"Name it," he said, ready to agree to anything the young woman wanted.
"I want to be treated as an equal in this marriage," she said, catching his eyes and holding them without blinking. "Even after children. My father raised a tough, independent girl that won't bow before anyone, not even her husband."
The sternness in her voice sobered him up immediately. "I would expect nothing less," said Kuai seriously. "It will not be easy to be my wife or the mother of my children."
"So, you won't object to me continuing to train once I move to the temple? I'm sure there are lots of new things that I can learn from the Lin Kuei."
"And from me. I would like to personally train you in our powers," said Kuai, giving her a ghost of a smile. "Learn everything you can from the Lin Kuei and me and train till your heart's content."
Akali, satisfied with his answer, gave him a smile so bright that he swore his heart skipped a few beats. It even caused his dark half to fall silent for a few seconds. "Thank you, Sub-Zero," she said.
"So, when would you want Kali to move to the temple?" asked Hera, hugging her daughter again.
'Now,' his other half nearly screamed in his head. 'Take her today and claim her. Fill her with our child.'
'I will do that when she is ready, and not a moment sooner,' he said, willing his Revenant self to shut up.
Despite what he had said to his dark half, he did like the idea. Having Akali move to the temple today would allow them to get to know each other before they wed. "I would like the wedding to be as soon as possible. Perhaps a week from now," he said. "So, I would prefer if Akali came with me today."
Hera gave him a look like he just kicked her puppy. "Now?" she asked, her voice trembling.
Xerxes took a deep breath. "My love, it makes sense," he said, wrapping an arm around his wife. "He can protect her in his temple. Here, he can't ensure her safety without leaving the Lin Kuei without their Grandmaster." Hera looked at her husband, her bright green eyes shimmering with unshed tears. "I don't like it either, but it makes the most sense."
"I know, dear," she said, wiping her eyes. She looked at her daughter and smiled. "Kali, go on and pack whatever you cannot live without for the next week. We will bring the rest of your things when we come to the wedding."
"Why does sissy have to pack?" asked a small, childish voice. "Is she going somewhere?"
Everyone looked over to see Loki standing in the doorway, a thin, well-worn book clutched to his chest. "She is, baby," said Hera, going over to the little boy. "She's leaving with the Grandmaster."
"Why?" asked Loki, looking at his sister.
"Because they are getting married," she explained, kneeling down and putting her hands on his shoulders.
Tears welled up in his eyes. "She's coming back, though, right?" he asked, almost hysterically.
"To visit, baby," she said, trying to calm the young boy. "A married woman must live with her husband."
"No!"
"Loki, please calm down."
"No, no, NO! I don't want sissy to go anywhere!" Loki nearly screamed before bursting into tears, trying to push Hera away.
"Baby-"
"It's okay, Loki," said Akali, getting up and scooping her little brother up in her arms. The little boy immediately went quiet and wrapped his arms around his sister's neck, giving Kuai a death glare. "You can come to visit me anytime you want," she promised, kissing the young boy's hair. "Besides, this will give you more playmates."
"Are there kids where you're going?" he asked, turning his gaze to his sister. "Are they like us?"
"Not yet. But, when Sub-Zero and I have children, they will be like us," said Akali, giving him another kiss. "And, when they're old enough, you can play with them."
"Can't you live here and have babies?"
Akali blushed at that thought. Having sex while her parents slept in the next room, separated only by a thin wooden wall. "That's not possible, Loki," she said, finally noticing the look Kuai was giving her. She didn't understand his expression, but something about it went right through her. Her stomach and legs turned to mush.
"Why not?" Loki asked.
It took a couple of tries before Akali could speak. "It's something you'll understand when you get older," she said, putting the young boy down. "Now, come and help me pack, okay?"
Akali didn't know how close she had come to Kuai giving in to his Revenant half. How close she had come to being drug somewhere private and fucked relentlessly until his child was planted firmly inside her. He couldn't get the image out of his head. Her tunic pushed up over her hips with her leggings hanging off of one foot, moaning and screaming his name as he pumped away inside of her. He took a deep breath and ran a hand over his face. What was with him? Why did Akali mentioning their eventual children get to him so much? His dark half's thoughts were bad enough without these new ones being thrown into the mix.
Kuai finally noticed Xerxes staring knowingly at him and resisted the urge to squirm like a kid that just got caught doing something wrong. "Did you need to talk to me about her moving to the temple or the wedding, Xerxes?" he asked, trying to guide the other man away from what he was about to say.
"Nice try. I saw that look," said Xerxes, but once again, the man didn't seem angry. "Listen, I know you're marrying my little girl to have children. I get that. Our kind is rare. But, for the sake of the Elder Gods, don't push yourself on her. She may have agreed to this, but I don't think she understands exactly what she's getting herself into. Please, only make her a mother when she is ready. Even if that takes a year."
"I know. I won't force anything on Akali that she isn't ready for. You have my word."
Hera and the two men lapsed into silence, and by some miracle, even his dark half was silent. Probably because it was getting what it wanted. It didn't take long before Akali and Loki reappeared with a small rucksack thrown over Akali's shoulder. Hera eyed the pack warily. "I know I said to take only what you needed, but is that all?" she asked.
Akali smiled. "I can make due for a week," she said, causing Loki to look up at her.
"I thought you said you weren't coming back?"
"Mother and father are bringing the rest of my things on the day of the wedding," she explained. She chuckled when Loki pouted at her and looked over at Kuai. "I'm ready whenever you are, Sub-Zero."
Getting up, Kuai went over to the front door and held it open for her. "After you. My horse is just outside."
At the sight of him holding the door open for her, knowing that when she walked out of the hut, her entire life would change, her heart began to pound rapidly inside her chest. She took a deep breath, hitched her bag higher, and walked through the door. Spying the enormous black stallion tied next to their hut, she went over and waited patiently next to it. Her parents followed behind her, and when they stopped, her mother nearly leaped into her arms. "Kali, sweetie, please write us when you get there," said Hera, kissing her cheek. "And, please come visit us anytime. Both of you," she added, staring pointedly at Kuai. "Don't be strangers."
"We won't, mother. I promise," said Akali, hugging her mother tightly, trying not to cry. She looked around. "Where's Loki?"
"Hiding in the house," said Hera. "I tried to get him to come out, but you know how stubborn that boy can be. I'll give him a hug and a kiss for you." Akali went to say something, but her mother interrupted her, "Don't be mad at him, sweetie. This is sudden, and he is just a child."
"I won't. Thank you, mother."
Xerxes ruffled his daughter's hair affectionately. "Be safe, sweetheart," he said, his voice thick. "I expect a thrilling sparring match the next time we see each other."
"Dear, on their wedding day?" asked Hera.
"Of course not," he replied. "Perhaps the day after, or the next day. I'm sure Sub-Zero won't mind if we stay a few days."
"You may stay as long as you wish," said Kuai, untieing his horse. "My home is your home," he added, pulling himself up onto the beast. He held his hand out to Akali. "Are you ready?"
At his offered hand, her palms turned sweaty, and her heart started hammering against her ribcage again. But before she could change her mind, she took a deep breath, grabbed his hand, stuck her foot into a stirrup, and swung herself up behind him. She waved goodbye to her parents as Kuai nudged the creature in the direction of the portal, nearly bursting into tears when she eventually lost sight of them. She held them in though and turned around, mindlessly watched the scenery pass by them, lightly gripping onto Kuai's belt. The Cryomancer's voice pulled her out of her daze.
"Are you sure about this, Akali?" he asked, pulling his horse to a slow trot. "I won't be angry if you ask me to turn around. We can always figure out another way-"
"No, I'm fine," interrupted Akali, glancing back one last time. "Thank you for your concern, but I said that I would do this." She turned back to the older man. "You don't have to worry. I'll make sure you get what you want."
To her surprise, he stopped the horse, and half turned in the saddle so he could look at her. "Are you sure?" he asked, catching her eyes. "I'm not taking you on vacation. I'm not taking you on an extended training trip. I'm taking you to the temple to marry me and eventually bear my children." Akali went to look away, but he grabbed her chin, forcing her to look at him. "Akali, I'm going to be completely honest with you. If I merely wanted a woman to give me children, I could have had one long ago. But I don't want that. I want a wife, a partner, a friend. I don't want a woman who thinks she was forced into marrying me. I don't want a stranger in my bed; I don't want to make love to a stranger. I want passion and love. So, I'll ask you again. Are you sure? Can you eventually give me all of that? All of you?"
Akali was stunned into silence, a faint blush working its way across her face. She hadn't expected that. She had thought their marriage would be pleasant but all business. Could she give him that? All of her? She found she didn't have to think about it too hard. Staring up into his face, she didn't know where she got the bravery from, but she leaned up and kissed him lightly on the lips. "I can do that, Sub-Zero. Maybe not right away, but eventually," she said, smiling. "Just give me some time."
This girl would be the death of him... again. It took everything he had not to kiss her back until her head swam, or pull her in front of him, tear the crotch of her leggings open, and take her maidenhood right there on his horse. "If it means you giving me everything I said I wanted, take as much time as you need," he said, turning back around and nudging the creature into a fast trot. "Also, you don't have to call me Sub-Zero. Call me by my name."
Akali smiled, though she knew he couldn't see her. "Okay... Kuai," she said, enjoying how his name sounded on her tongue.
The rest of the ride to the portal passed by silently, though not unpleasantly. Akali had removed her hands from his belt and wrapped her arms loosely around his waist. And, as the portal came into sight, the young woman peered around him at it, clinging tighter to him.
"That's the portal to Earthrealm?" she asked, eyeing it warily. It was a glowing, electrified arch extending up from the ground, displaying large snow-capped mountains. A tinge of fear welled up inside her as she stared at it in wonder.
"Is this your first time seeing it?" asked Kuai, surprised when she nodded.
"Father moved us here when rumors began to circulate that the Queen was alive. My father, fearing she would start hunting Cryomancers again, moved us to a village closer to a portal if we had to escape to Earthrealm. Luckily, we never had to," explained Akali, clinging tighter and tighter to the man in front of her as the portal loomed closer. "It seems she had more important things to do besides hunting us."
Sindel did have more important things to do. Like being the puppet of both Shao Khan and Quan Chi. Kuai kept that to himself. That would be a story for another day. 'Are you going to tell her about me?' asked his dark half suddenly. 'She needs to know what happened to you. That you were once a monster. That you're still a monster.'
'Yes, I will tell her. But, that day is not today.'
He could hear the purr in his other half's voice. 'Why wait? Fill her with our child and then tell her. She can't leave you then.'
What was with his other half's need to get Akali pregnant as soon as possible? 'I will tell her when she is ready and not a moment sooner. Now, be silent.'
As Kuai's horse stepped through the portal, Akali closed her eyes and held her breath. A brief static charge raced along her skin, followed by a blast of wind. She opened her eyes and froze, staring in wonder at the snow swirling through the air. "It's snowing," she exclaimed childishly, leaning back and holding her palm out. Watching in amusement as the large flakes lightly coated her skin.
Stopping his horse, Kuai looked behind him. "Is this your first time seeing snow?" he asked, wrapping an arm around her waist as she started to lean forward to catch more snow.
"I've seen the snow my family and I can make. But I've never seen snow from the sky," she replied, finally noticing Kuai's arm around her and how far she was leaning out. She pulled herself back, sitting correctly on the horse. "Sorry," she said sheepishly.
"Don't be," he said, unwrapping his arm from around her waist and nudging his horse forward, "I don't mind." They traveled for a bit in silence, Akali quickly looping her arms around his waist again before it began snowing harder. A wicked idea crossed Kuai's mind. He knew he shouldn't listen to it, that it was his Revenant's idea, but he did miss the feeling of her pressed tightly against him. "Akali, hold on tight," he ordered. "This storm is going to quickly turn into a blizzard, and we need to be at the temple before it does."
"Will we make it in time?" asked Akali, tightening her arms around him.
"Only if we hurry," he said and snapped the reins, his horse taking off in a full gallop.
He was lying. He was lying through his teeth. He knew the weather around his temple better than anyone. This storm wouldn't get any worse and would only drop a few inches, but Akali didn't need to know that. Racing along the path to the temple, he was surprised when the young woman behind him started laughing. It wasn't a fearful, nervous laugh; it was a joyous, playful laugh that sounded like small bells ringing in the frigid air. He glanced over his shoulder at her, and their eyes met. She smiled at him, her eyes glittering happily, and snuggled even closer to him.
'Take her,' ordered his dark half. 'Drag her into the forest, throw her over the nearest fallen tree, and fill her. Look at her face. She wouldn't resist.'
'I can't, and I won't. Akali's not ready for that,' he said, turning his head away from the young woman.
'So you think. Let Akali make that decision,' said his other half before snickering. 'What are you afraid of? Afraid that I'll be right? Afraid that I can read your little bride-to-be better than you can?'
'Be silent. I will hear no more from you.'
'Remember, me, she kissed you.'
'I ordered you to be silent.'
'Don't act tough to me. Remember, I am you. I can see the thoughts you ignore. You want Akali; you want Akali's tight wet heat wrapped around you. You want to hear her screaming your name, begging you to fill her with your seed. Why do you think the thought of her holding your child gets under your skin? You want to give that to her.' Kuai wanted to argue. Wanted to tell his Revenant half that it was wrong. But, his other half was right. It knew what he wanted because it was him. 'At least ask her. The worst she can do is say no,' added his other half, surprising him with how level-headed it was being.
Akali's hand on his silenced his dark half instantly. "Kuai, what's wrong?" she asked, worried. "Your hands are trembling."
"Akali, I need to tell you something, and I apologize if it changes the way you see me," he said, pulling his horse to a stop. Was he really listening to his Revenant side again? What if this was the final straw? What if this was the thing that made her want to go home?
"What is it?" she asked when he didn't continue.
'Ask her.'
"I want you," he said, deciding not to beat around the bush. "I've wanted you from the first moment I saw you. I've envisioned doing... things to you that might scare you." He paused a moment before asking the question that might put the nail in his coffin, "Would you give yourself to me right here and now? If you do, I'll promise to be gentle."
Akali knew she should be angry. She knew she should say no. But, she found she didn't want to refuse him. The thought of him pinning her against a tree, lifting her up, and slowly impaling her on his manhood made her wet. She knew she wasn't thinking straight; her sudden need was skewing her judgment. But did it really matter? Akali was sure Kuai would request that she join him in his bed on their wedding night. So, what did it matter if she got used to it early? She pressed herself tighter against him. "What if I don't want you to be gentle?" she asked, trying to sound brave, trailing her right hand down his arm and body to his crotch, grabbing the warm bulge that she found there. She paused, her resolve quickly crumbling. She didn't have anyone to compare Kuai with, but were men usually this big? And this was him soft. What would he be like hard? Would it even fit?
He grabbed her hand, pulling her out of her daze. "Are you sure about this? Once we start, if you change your mind, I don't know if I could stop myself," he warned, turning his head to look at her. "I don't want to hurt you."
She almost said no. But their looming wedding night made her swallow her fear. She had to get used to this, and he said he would be gentle. "I'm sure," she said, giving him her best reassuring smile. "But, it may be best if you are gentle. I-I've never been with a man before."
"Of course," he said, guiding his horse off the path, cutting through the forest. Coming upon a small clearing, Kuai dismounted and tied the reins around a small, sturdy tree. He finished and turned around, holding a hand out to her.
Taking his hand, she allowed him to help her down from his horse, squeaking in surprise when he pulled her against him as soon as her feet touched the ground, crushing her lips under his. Closing her eyes, she mewled into his mouth when he cupped the back of her head in his hand and slipped his tongue into her mouth. Without breaking the kiss, he slowly backed her up until she was pinned against a tree, his knee planted firmly between her legs. Lifting her up, he wrapped her legs around his waist, finally removing his lips from hers. Akali licked her kiss swollen lips and looked at him. "Please," she begged quietly, tightening her legs around his waist, moaning when his rapidly hardening manhood pressed against her. "I-I want you."
Kuai grabbed her face, forcing her to look at him. "Keep that up, and I won't be gentle," he warned before kissing her again, pleased when her tongue timidly met his, her arms looping around his neck. Reaching down, he ran a finger along the soaked crotch of her legging before materializing a small blade made out of ice in his hand. He didn't want to make love to her this way. Nearly fully clothed and against a tree. He had wanted to take his time with her, explore her body, learn what made her scream. Carefully cutting her leggings open, he dropped the blade and slipped his fingers into her drenched folds. Quickly finding the engorged bundle of nerves nestled within them, he began to roughly rub it with two fingers. There would be time for that later. Right now, he just wanted to make Akali his.
She was almost there. She could feel the coil tightening in her stomach, signaling her impending release. Kuai's fingers felt so good yet so different from her own. She wasn't a stranger to doing this to herself, though it was challenging to find the time when she shared a room with Loki. She released his lips and lolled her head back against the tree, starting to rock her hips against his hand. "By the Gods, I..." she moaned, grinding herself against his hand. The coil was winding tighter and tighter, and she was rapidly flying towards her release.
"That's it. Cum for me, Akali," he ordered, taking one of her hands with his free hand and unwrapping it from around his neck, pinning it above her head. Her fingers automatically twined with his, their eyes met, and when she gave him the softest of smiles, he cracked. He couldn't wait any longer; he needed to claim her now. He pinched her core between his thumb and index finger and squeezed, twisting it gently. Akali instantly flew over the edge, biting her lip to keep from screaming, her orgasm hitting her with the intensity of a speeding truck. She moaned weakly when Kuai slipped two fingers inside of her, quickly preparing her for him. "By the Gods... you're so tight," he groaned, quickly pulling his hand out of hers and opening his pants, his manhood instantly springing free of the thick cloth. Taking his hardened shaft in one hand and one of her hips in the other, he guided himself into her drenched folds and up against her entrance. Taking her other hip in his hand, he slowly pushed himself inside of her, groaning as her wet channel surrounded him like a tight, hot vise. He stopped when he felt the barrier rimming her walls. "Kali," he said, using her nickname to hopefully get her attention. She looked at him, her eyes dark and hazy. "Are you sure about this?" he asked, using every ounce of his willpower to not just thrust up through her barrier and finally claim her. "Once I take your maidenhood, you will never get it back. Are you sure you want to do this now? I can easily wait until you are more comfortable with me."
Akali didn't have to think about it. Yes, it hurt. Yes, her tight walls were stretched painfully around his considerable girth, and he wasn't even entirely inside of her yet. But, she knew the pleasure that would follow after the pain would be worth it. She looped her arms around his neck and kissed him briefly but passionately. "I'm sure," she said quietly.
"This is going to hurt, so I'll try to make it quick," he said before pushing the rest of his length inside of her, his tip bumping against her womb.
Akali flinched but didn't scream as her maidenhead tore, and the rest of her tight channel was painfully forced open. She licked her suddenly too dry lips, relieved that the pain was rapidly fading away, leaving behind the strange sensation of being full. She wiggled her hips, gasping as his manhood shifted within her, rubbing against a spot that sent a spike of pleasure through her stomach. She would have done it again, but Kuai stopped her. Slowly lifting her hips up until just his tip remained inside her, he just as slowly pulled her back down. Enjoying when a small mewl escaped her as he bumped against her womb. He guided her up and down a few more times before she realized what he was doing and took over herself, batting his hands away.
Kuai knew he had realized this already, but the thought suddenly hit him again. This girl would be the death of him. Seconds after taking her virginity against a tree, she was riding him like a wild bronco, seemingly uncaring that they had just met a few hours ago. Taking her face and turning it towards his, he kissed her briefly before mumbling, "You little minx," into her mouth and kissing her again. Hauling her higher against the tree, he began pounding into her, knowing that he was probably hurting her, but to into it to care. Everything about her was too good. Her tight passage was hot, wet, and surrounding him like a velvet vise. The way she was kissing was him like he was the source of the world's last remaining oxygen, and if she released his lips, she would die. And when she started to move her hips again, meeting his upward thrusts with her own downward ones, all last vestiges of his control shattered. Releasing her hips, he wrapped his arms under her arms and up over her shoulders, pinned her upper body against the tree, and began to power thrust up into her.
Akali released his lips, and her head slumped back against the tree as she screamed. Not in pain, but in pure pleasure as he roughly battered her insides. She was barreling towards another orgasm, the coil winding much faster this time. "Gods, don't stop," she gasped out, tightening her legs around his waist. "Please don't stop, Kuai. I'm almost there."
Hearing her say his name in a near moan sent him in a crash course with his own release. He could feel it rapidly approaching, his seed quickly rising in his hard length. He held it off and snaked a hand between their bodies and between her legs, finding her core. He began to roughly rub it, watching as Akali's ice blue eyes popped open and her mouth formed a large o. Leaning in as loud moans and mewls escaped her, he kissed his way up her neck to her ear. He heard his Revenant side whispering things to him, and he listened, his lips curling up into a smile against her ear. "Akali, where would you like me to put my seed?" he asked quietly, removing his hand from her. "Do you want it inside you?"
He was surprised when she didn't seem to think about it. "Yes," she gasped out almost instantly.
"Why is that?" he asked, feeling her walls getting tighter and tighter around him. "You do know what could happen if I do that, correct?"
"Y-Yes."
"Do you want that? Already?" He leaned in closer, put his mouth right next to her ear, and whispered quietly, "Do you want me to put a child inside you already?"
"I-I..."
He suddenly slammed his hips up into her causing her to whimper, her walls growing so tight around him it was nearly painful. "Well?" he asked with another hard thrust. "Do you?"
"Yes!" she screamed as she came so hard that her back bowed off of the tree and her vision temporarily went white.
Kuai groaned at hearing her say that and began jerking his hips up into her, finally allowing himself his release. One, two, three hard thrusts, and he slipped over the edge himself, coating her insides with his seed. Akali whimpered as he gave one final weak thrust before half-sitting, half-falling on the ground, his legs going out from under him. He caught himself on his forearms as she slumped bonelessly against his chest, her arms still wrapped around his neck. After a few seconds, she suddenly sat up. He tensed up, expecting her to jump up, slap him, and accuse him of taking advantage of her. That is, until she started to blush, a sheepish expression crossing her face. "What's wrong?" he asked, still prepared to take a slap or punch if he had to.
She looked away and blushed even harder before speaking up. "So..." she peeked at the older Cryomancer, "when can we do that again?"
Kuai looked at the young woman straddling him, his rapidly softening length still inside her, and began to laugh. Flopping back onto the ground, he laced his fingers behind his head and said, "Later tonight. I still have work I need to oversee at the temple." She smiled at him as he sat back up. "We should go before the Lin Kuei think something happened to me," he said, gently lifting her off of him, his flaccid manhood quickly slipping out of her.
Standing on legs that still felt like jelly, Akali resisted the urge to pout. She already felt empty. She already missed the feeling of him inside of her. She glanced at him as he was tucking himself back in his pants but quickly looked away, staring off into the distance in shock. She had been right. He was huge, even when soft. That had really fit inside her while hard? She was pulled out of her thoughts when Kuai put his hand on the small of her back. Guiding her towards his horse, he helped her onto the beast, untied the reins, and pulled himself up on the saddle. Akali wrapped her arms around his waist as he turned his horse towards the temple and nudged the stallion into a fast trot.
Author's Note: I hope you guys enjoyed that. Constructive criticism is welcomed and I enjoy it. I am not used to writing sexy scenes or, when we get there, fight scenes. Also, please let me know how I am handling Akali's attitude towards her situation. I know if you are raised knowing your marriage will be arranged that you can adapt to the situation quickly and I am trying to make her as mature as possible about it without it being too unbelievable. And, yes, I did totally use Akali's name from League of Legends. I am a total K/DA fangirl. I will try to update one a week, usually on Sunday. But I work full-time in retail and we are super busy right now so I apologize in advance if I miss a week.
