-Editor's Intro-
Hello! I have been a huge fan of slugterra and I just got into writing fanfics, I plan to watch slugterra from season 2 to season 6, when it was on netflix for me it only had season 1 and return of the elementals part 1 and 2. Any changes I make to lore is just in my AU. This storyline takes place long after Eli Shane returns to the surface and starts his own family.
He has been gone for approximately 20 years at the beginning of this story.
Now let me explain what makes Eli's disappearance significant, After Eli left, it was then up to Kord, Trixie and pronto, Junjey (I think that's how you spell it) was able to routinely check the 99 caverns every 5 years but he still was the guardian of his own cavern. Kord became the most known mechanic in app the 99, Trixie essentially became the news girl of the 99 and Pronto…. Well…. He became the King of his hometown. Every member of the Shanegang guarded an elemental, Trixie kept Air, Kord kept Fire, Junjey kept Water, Pronto kept Earth and Eli kept Doc.
Everyone was happy! Until Dr. Blakk returned to the 99 but this time…. Not trying to corrupt it…. But save it, A new set of caverns were discovered by Blakk's Dark Bane that sat Underneath the deep caverns, something grabbed hold of the Dark bane and stole them into the darkness. With no Shane at the time, it is up to a new hero to step into the light, But who?
That was just an explanation intro, I'll be adding 2 completely new subspecies called "Gigantamorphs" and "Nightmare", Giga morphs are what happens when a slug is slinged at 500mph and nightmares are what happens to slugs when they enter the Darkened Caverns without any Light slugs.
Now onto the Story!
-Story Start-
On a cold and stormy night, a young boy (about 11) was walking in the storm to get away from his parents who were arguing again when all of a sudden. "Hey! Nerd!, give me your backpack, Now!" a larger older looking boy with two other figures. "N-No!" The boy said as he started to run "AFTER HIM" the large boy ordered as the two figures ran after him. The ran for about 5 minutes straight before tripping and falling into an unfinished section of a construction sight and into a large sewer pipe, luckily an empty one. He remained silent and used the tunnel in hopes to escape his pursuers, when he found a chair he thought it was a way out, so he sat and descended, not realizing it too late. He landed in slugterra and roamed terrified but curious, he heard blaster fire, a sound unfamiliar to him, he looked through bushes and spotted a crowd, looking over he was amazed bit quickly terrified as a red headed girl tapped his shoulder. He jumped at it "p-p-please don't hurt me!" he was shaking badly. "Hey, I won't hurt you buddy" the girl said smiling. "Wh-wh-what is that?" the boy said pointing to the hoverbug on the girl's shoulder. "My slug?, she's a hoverbug" the girl said happily. "O-Ok, where am I?" the boy asked looking around. "You don't know what cavern you're in?" the girl asked shocked
"Well I probably shouldn't tell anyone this…. So can you keep a secret?" he asked her. "Sure!, but first names!" she said happily "I am Lilly" she added. "Ok, I am James but I am not from around here, I live on the surface and I fell down here trying to get away from some bullies" James said with a look of fear. "Oh?, I've heard of that place, a place with no slugs is no fun at all" Lilly said with a smile,
James sighed in relief. "So since you are new to slugterra, let me take you to my mom!, she knows someone from the surface as well as she knows everything about our 99 caverns!" Lilly added with joy as she turns and started walking
"W-W-Wait for me!" James yelled as he caught up to her
Almost 6 years had passed after James arrived in Slugterra, now he has a full arsenal, a modded blaster and a new Ally in Serena Blakk, Dr. Blakk's Daughter.
"After James' duel I am going to see if we can go shopping" Serena Said as she looked at her Blaster, It being almost broken and needing upgrades "or you could be nicer to your Blaster" Lilly said snarling at Serena "well I'm sorry I had to build my Blaster from scratch with no prior training" Serena snapped back. The girls started to argue as James finished his duel, gaining a new slug and in the deal, 500 credits. He walked back over and the girls were on the ground wrestling each other "what did I miss?" James said obliviously as the girls blankly stared at him. The two quickly scattered to their feet now coated in dust and dirt with two broken blasters "You broke my Blaster!" The girls said in unison glaring at each other "hey hey hey, let's go shopping for new ones, I can remake the mods you lost and possibly new ones" James said as the girls' eyes widened and they smiled.
On there way to the closest market place a large fight started and even with the three they were outgunned, people dressed head to toe in steel plate armor and slinging Ramstones, a motive was unclear until James spotted the cart that the caravan was carrying was under assault, James launched a megamorph Frostcrawler to set up a thick wall long enough to get to the caravan to aid in protection. The plan worked flawlessly as Serena, Lilly and James all made it before the wall even cracked. "What is the situation?!" James asked one of the Caravan Guards "we were on our way to a nearby cavern that slugs have been leaving, Fandangos were gathered for temporary donations from other caverns, they were happy to help but then these guys attacked us out of nowhere, as far as we can tell all they want is the Fandangos but we cannot let them have it!" The guard responded as the wall broke. "Serena! Lilly! Provide covering fire! I'll help the guards get the cart back up and back on course!" James shouted as he holstered his blaster and ran over to the cart, Lifting it up slightly as the guards lifted it back to it's wheels "Now, Frostcrawlers!" Serena and Lilly both shot Frostcrawlers and set up a thicker wall "get out of here while you can, go as far off course as you can, Whatever wants those slugs will heavily guard the most direct path. If you have to, retrieve more slingers and carts with building supplies and set up an outpost at the center of the cavern in need. The Caravan took off while the wall held, James fired X-Mitter slug just to buy time.
The trio arrived at the mall and picked up new blasters, Lilly got a rifle model blaster to provide long range support, Serena Got two Handgun model blasters to provide quick fire and combo support and james kept his first blaster, He did get mods for everyone.
