"Deema can you please put down that vase? I dont want you to break it" said Mr. Wahler as he was stocking more pitchers on the shelf.

"But Daddy it's very shiny" said Deema as she held it up, "I know its shiny but you can please put it back? asked Mr. Wahler "Oh...sorry!" said Deema as she carefully placed the vase back on the shelf. It was a sunny Saturday afternoon and Deema Wahler was at her parents workplace: a antique shop that was located in downtown bubbletucky, she had begged them all week to come along with them to work.

Mr. and Mrs. Wahler had finally decided to bring her along and made her promise she wasnt going to touch anything"Now Deema I want you to be on your best behavior while Daddy and I work with the customers" said Mrs.Wahler as she was organizing the money at the cash register. The blonde-haired guppy frowned "But I wanna help at the shop too", "I know you wanna help out but it's better for you to stay out of the way we don't want you to break anything" said Mr.Wahler.

Deema pouted and quietly sat behind the counter. The door at the front entrance swung open and a woman with pink swirly hair and brown eyes walked in, it was Mrs. Genteilla: Molly's mother, Deema got very excited and and went up to greet her before her mom could stop her "Hi Molly's mom how are you today?!" she said happily, "Oh! thanks for asking I'm doing very good today" Mrs. Gentiella said with a smile, Mrs. Wahler separated her daughter from Molly's mother, "Sorry about that, she's just very happy to be here today"

"No worries I'm looking for a particular vase for my dining room area" said Mrs.Gentiella, "I'll help you find the perfect vase follow me to the back" said Mrs.Wahler, Then they both went to the back of the store to look at vases, Deema made sure neither of her parents are looking before going to the front of the store to look at the pitchers.

She carefully got one from the shelf and started playing it even though her parents told her not to touch anything, she was about to place the pitcher back on the shelf when it slipped out of her hands and shattered on the ground in a million pieces,Deema started to feel nervous because she knew her parents are gonna get mad for touching the pitcher and breaking it.

She saw her mother and Mrs. Genteilla coming back to the cash register so she hid behind the counter and acted like nothing happened, Mrs. Genteilla seemed very happy with her vase and thanked Mrs. Wahler before paying for it and leaving the store.

Mr. Wahler was sweeping the floor when he noticed broken glass near the front door, "Honey I think someone broke one of the pitchers" he said with a frown, Mrs. Wahler looked down at her daughter "Deema did you break one of the pitchers?" she said in a serious tone, Deema frantically shook her head no because she didn't want to get in trouble, Mr. and Mrs. Wahler knew that their daughter had broken the pitcher but they decided to wait until the end of the day to ask her again.

For the rest of the day, Deema watched her mother ring up customers and her father sweep up dust around the shop, she even saw her best friend Goby from school with his mother, she still greeted him but it wasn't her usual happy and outgoing personality. At around 5pm, Mrs. Wahler ringed up her last customer and then went to help her husband close down the shop, Deema sprung up from her seat and started running towards the front door but her father came out of the break room and stopped her.

"Deema we need to have a talk" He said in a calm but firm tone, Deema did not want to get yelled at so she obeyed her fathers orders and followed him to the break room, once they arrived in the room, Mrs. Wahler shut the door and looked at her daughter. "Deema did you touch one of the pitchers and broke it?" she asked, once again Deema shook her head no, "Deema please tell the truth we knew it was you" said Mr.Wahler.

"Okay I did it!" Deema cried before dropping to the ground and bursting into tears, "Im sorry!" she sobbed, "It's Okay Deema it was just an accident theres no need to cry" Mr.Wahler said in a gentle tone, She tearfully looked up at her parents "Your not mad at me?" she asked, "No we are not mad at you but the next time you come here please don't touch any of the pitchers they are very expensive" said Mrs. Wahler, Deema nodded and wiped away her tears.

Mr. and Mrs. Wahler gave their daughter a big hug and finished closing up the shop before heading home for the evening.
