I am A Warrior
My passion for the warriors books:
Long ago, when I was in elementary school, I read a book series. Before that, I never read books a lot. But it seemed to beckon me. That series taught me to read, it made me want to. Can you guess what that Series was?
However, so many years have passed since my childhood. Almost all of my knowledge has passed from that time. I still read a lot, but not Warriors. It didn't matter to me because I just didn't care anymore. I wish I did care…

My name is John Hart. This is my story of becoming a Warrior.
It was a calm relaxing night in my hometown, just the sound of crickets in the fields nearby. My home for the moment was my parents house, while I was away from college for the summer. I was majoring in industrial technology so I could make the big bucks. If I did well, I would finally be able to get out on my own, have a home to call my own, and Lord willing a family. Things were looking up for me.
Although, life does not go anyone's way. No matter how much you would like it to, or how much you think life is just about you.
At that time, the only room in the house that was still active was mine. Everyone went to bed early due to the day's hard work we had. Except me. I stayed up to play games, classic ones like Garry's Mod or CS-GO. It was a usual night for me. The nights I took for granted. As per the norm, I stayed up longer than I should have. Looking at the time on my computer, I realized my tactical error. 10:30 AM.
I turned it off hastily and then went to bed. I closed my eyes that night, not realizing that I would not open them for a long time.
As sleep overcame me, I heard a voice like no thing I have ever heard before saying,
"Fire alone will save their clan, But a heart a heart will save them all."
Then my mind went blank…. Into a dark abyss.
Ch. 1
Where am I, What am I?
In my sleep, I heard more voices talking. Much softer than the first one I heard.
"Do we have to send Him!?"
"He is part of the prophecy, even if he is a twoleg."
"But how can he do anything more than what any other cat can do. The kittypet I held my tongue for, but a twoleg!?"
"He would be able to allow them to know the twolegs. What they are, why they do the things they do, and how they tame those monsters that are clearly stronger than themselves. Haven't you ever wondered how other creatures get killed on Thunder Path, but we never see twolegs killed by them? They even stop for them. The clans need to know what he knows."
The voice that was in disagreement sighed,
" Alright, you convinced me for now. But where are we going to place him?"
"Somewhere near the Fire's path…"
Wake up!
My eyes shot open in shock. My first thoughts were on what the heck happened with my dreams, the next was realizing this was not my room.
Where am I?
I tried to sit up, but soon found out that I had trouble doing so. I rolled on to my stomach to push myself up; however, when I did, my head started to hurt like crazy. It wasn't just my head, but my mind itself. It was rewiring, and it wasn't a pleasant experience. And, just as it started, it stopped.
At that moment, I finally had a chance to observe my surroundings. I was in a wooded area with slightly wet grass all around. I notice a few newly formed puddles nearby.
"That's odd, it wasn't supposed to rain for another 2 days."
I needed to know where I was, and why I was feeling weird all over.
Why am I still having trouble standing up?
I needed answers. I needed to get out of the clearing. To get around, I tried a "Dog walk," which I found to be unusually easy, and it got easier as time went on. Soon, getting out of the clearing, changing from a walking pace, to running speeds. I was like the wind.
I must not have been looking where I was running, because I ran into somebody, knocking said person to the ground. I landed on my back, giving me a good look at the sky once more.
I sighed.
Back to square one.
The other guy decided to talk to me.
"Are you alright?"
"Yeah, I'm doing fine, Just staring at the sky, man."
Then, I saw something that startled me: a cat with ginger fur (or orange, take your pick) moved into my sky view, and said, "What did you call me?"
I have never screamed louder in my life, than in that exact moment. I scared the cat away from me a bit with my screams, as I got up from my spot. I backed up against the nearest tree, not believing what I was seeing or hearing.
With shock in my voice, I asked the cat "How did you do that!?"
I know what I am seeing and I can't believe it! A talking cat!
The cat in front of me had a worried look on his face.
How did I know that?!
He walked forward with his collar jingling, saying, "Are you alright, what's wrong?"
I'm just going to say it out front.
"You're a CAT!"
The orange cat's face looked confused. My mind screamed, "Again! How do I know this?!"
My world was about to be rocked. The cat in front of me said something in an annoyed way, "So are you."
What?
I slowly looked down and saw what he meant. My brain began to stop once more, registering what I was seeing. A body with light golden brown fur, paws, and a tail. My personal crisis was brought to a halt when a gray blur pounced onto the orange cat in front of me.
END CHAPTER
(A/N: This is the first chapter of a story that I started two or three years ago. I am still working on my Star Wars story, But I want to do this on my own. I'm still getting help for this story. Doing both of these stories will improve my writing skill and thought process. In other words, this will allow for better written stories. Please, enjoy the adventure to come).
