This is the offering to Kadam Week 2014 prompt 7: Sinner
If there's one thing Adam learns fast, once Kurt fully commits to them, is that he can be a living dichotomy.
Kurt's looks and voice reminds Adam of angels, flawless porcelain skin and crystal clear voice.
But when Kurt is laying in Adam's arms, he's hot and real. And so, so far from the cold and distant celestial beings.
He's made of skin and rushing blood, and hot panting breaths and broken sighs, as Adam's hands learn where and how to touch him.
Kurt had mentioned in passing how he doesn't believe in religions or God, but when Adam's mouth is on him, the pleading sounds, the way Kurt pants Adam's name sound like the most heartfelt prayer to Adam's ears.
And if taking pleasure in this makes him a sinner in the eyes of some, well Adam is too busy drinking in every second, every sound to spare any thoughts on what the world might think of him
Once Kurt gets truly invested in them, in leaving the past behind, he discovers a world that he didn't know existed.
Where Blaine was all rigorous schedules and planning, at least for anything involving Kurt.
Adam on the other hand is pure improvisation... Kisses on the hallways. Small touches hidden from curious eyes by their clothes during shared subway rides. Surprise breakfasts on Nyada's steps. Shared lunches in the auditorium... Stolen moments around the Apples' rehearsals. Holding hands on the way to class. One arm hugs walking to their next date.
Kissing and laughing between the sheets, because love should bring you joy. And Adam brings him a lot of joy.
And not just that...
For the first time ever, he's starting to understand all the talks Finn, Puck and the other guys were going about back in high school. The whole inability of ever getting enough of your partner, of wanting to spend hours with them, kissing, touching, being all on top of each other trying to get even closer...
Kurt still remembers that time, years ago, when he told Blaine he loved Broadway musicals because the touch of the fingertips is as sexy as it gets... And Blaine had to go all graphic back then, and still, Kurt never felt that way.
Adam is a whole different story... Adam is Kurt's temptation, and all he needs to do is being in Kurt's proximity.
Maybe studying at Nyada had given Kurt a whole different appreciation for Broadway musicals, knowing what happens behind the stage and all that has to happen for a show to be seen by the public gave Kurt a different perspective.

With Adam Kurt has learnt exactly how sexy the touch of the fingertips could really be...
Discovering the heading feeling that's a mix of sensual arousal and thrilling excitement, in seeing the effect of his own fingertips could provoke in Adam as he explores his boyfriend body. The knowledge he is doing that, with the gentle and attentive care, he once upon a time used to reserve for newly purchased banded clothes, his car or the restoration projects he worked on at his dad's garage.
Kurt doesn't believe in the presence of God, or any of the formalised religions, not when he would be considered a sinner just for being born the way he is.
No, as far as Kurt is concerned, what other people consider a sin, it's just love for him, in which case it could be reasoned that both Adam and he are sinners.
And if being a sinner means waking every day in the arms of the man he loves, then by all means the whole world can add that to the list of slurs he already ignores.
