the last Ronin and the Gargoyles

At the darkest night in Manhattan there were sounds of explosions happening from the building at the the clouds red lights were showing up then stones were falling from the building as the crowd yelling then screams. sounds from the sirens hearing in police cars as a beautiful woman has long black hair She wears a red leather jacket, a black T-shirt, blue jeans, and black boots was out of the red one running to the scene looking at the sky
"Get back! Get back!" said the officer as the woman walks to him "Maza, 23rd. What's goin' on here?" said the woman mentioned her name is maza "You got me, Detective. Must be a heck of a party up there." said the officer as the lights appeared again then some stones were falling from the building almost crushed maza but she moves with great reflex then people staring at her "Get back!" Maza said as they ran
"Or you'll wind up street pizza." she said then she see marks on the stone was like a creature did this "Claw marks?" maza looks at the building then she gasps by the stones collapse to the hydrant send the top flying then the pressure of water shower her then she looks at the claw marked stone
"What could be strong enough to leave claw marks in solid stone?" she thought but she then noticed a other stone was slashed by a ninja kitana "Kitana mark...are there ninjas in New York?" she replied
(Scotland, 994 A.D.)
at Scotland in year 994 A.D. the castle was been attacked the soldiers on the top fire arrows at the enemy were Vikings "Fire!" said a Viking was leading them telling his men to fire the catapult "Aargh!" the knights were send flying from the hit by the Boulder
"Stand fast! We can hold them back!" said captain of the guard leading his men "Aye, and catch boulders with our teeth while we're about it." said the fellow knight
"It's your choice, then, me lads. The catapult, or me." as the captain has his sword out "Back to your posts. In a few more minutes the sun will be down, and then we'll see some fun." said the captain as the catapult fires again and struck the castle walls
"Attacking a castle full of gargoyles near nightfall. This is crazy, and Hakon knows it." said the viking talking to the other viking about the gargoyles They're staring at the castle
"No, my friend. That's not crazy. Questioning my sanity when I'm in earshot - that's crazy. now you take you men at the other side capture the princess katharine. " Hakon the leader of the Vikings said to him as his captain takes three of his men to finish the job
"I say those gargoyles are naught but chiseled stone, and even if they aren't, it's worth the risk for the plunder within. Attack!" Hakon shouted as his army charge to the castle manage to get in hakon and his men climb up the castle towards the one stoned gargoyle on the highest top till the sun is going down "uh! Uh!" Hakon was shocked seeing the stone starting to cracking the the stoned gargoyle had become flesh in blood skin was a purplish hue, dark brown hair flowing down to the center of its back, and a burlap loin cloth serving as its only clothing. creature growls at hakon lifted him up
"You are trespassing." he said to Hakon then other gargoyles are alive growls at the vikings "Whoa!" the men begins whimpering at those creatures then Hakon has his sword out and struck thier leader but he grabbed the sword holding it's grip then blood was flowing to the sword as he growls
"Fight, men. They are not invincible." said Hakon as the Vikings charge for battle. but the gargoyles were gliding to the sky then fly against the Vikings knock some off the tower then three more gargoyles are watching the fight
"Shall we let our brothers and sisters have all the fun?" said the red gargoyle with long white hair and a long beak-like mouth years glided to battle the Vikings
"Not afraid, are you?" said a smaller gargoyle with wings fused to its arms perked up, large eyes talking to a a large, rotund, light blue gargoyle with fin-like ears "Afraid? Me? Huh. Why, all of nature trembles at my passing." he said holding his stomach up look muscle but went down "I can see why." said the small one as they glide to battle
at the other side an elder gargoyle with a sword fights off the Vikings well then the other one try to hit him was send flying by the leader "Aaaagh!" he screamed as the elder looks at the leader
"Watch your back, old friend." he said to him "Watch your own." as the elder continues to fight the Vikings and the captain of the guard fights them off "Aaagh!" other viking scream by falling then the leader send them all falling after swinging his tail
"My thanks, Goliath." said Captain
"I could not do otherwise." Goliath said to the captain "These rogues no doubt followed that band of refugees we gave shelter to last night." captain replied looking at the camp where refugees are staying
"Oh, look, Mother. Ooh!" said a small boy looking at the light blue gargoyle was making land to the cart eating the mutton as the knight fights the viking then the gargoyle hits him with a mutton amazed the boy then Hakon was running towards the other side groans and breathes heavily but he heard growling then he gasp seeing an gargoyle dog growling at him then charge right at him but crashes at the stone hakon escape from it but inside the other room was a female gargoyle with red hair and glowing red eyes
"Face me, human, if you dare." she said as she hisses Hakon then starts running but was cornered by the dog again and growls as Goliath arrived
"I see you've met our watchdog." said Goliath as the female gargoyle hisses at hakon
"And my second-in-command as well. I grow tired of this. Take what's left of your men and begone." Goliath toss hakon out of the castle "Argh!" he screams as he land on the hay cart then it breaks letting hay land on him till he gets up
"This isn't over, monster. I'll be back." hakon said as he ran then the red gargoyle send the other two vikings out of the castle as they all retreated
"Good work. - Our arrows made 'em run. They'll think twice before coming back." said the soldiers but at the other side of the castle the captain and three other Vikings were inside the princess room and has princess katharine captive and dragging her away outside
"The plan works well princess Hakon will let your uncle pay a ransom for your capture." the captain touch her beautiful face as she slap his face
"I never bow to your leader viking!" Katharine said to the captain made him angry "You will learn a lesson." the Vikings grabbed her then begin to remove her dress "No...stop..." she begged as her dress slowly making her topless till a kunai with chain lasso the viking dragged him to the shadow
"What's that!?" said the other viking as the other side of the shadow showing two white eyes then the second one was been gagged by a green hand with two fingers and a thumb dragged him to the shadow
"Where's the other two?" said the captain then the third viking who guard the gate screams to the shadow
"who are if you're one of those gargoyles come out and fight i have the princess captive!" said the captain then he see a Shadow at the entrance "Who...are you?" the captain said to a figure that look like a humanoid turtle species Red eared slider wearing a blue bandana look serious looking at him
"if I go down I'm taking you with me freak" captain said had his sword out then the turtle had his two kitanas out as they both charge but the captain scream echoes to the castle as the gargoyles and the captain runs towards the source as they see the captain was no longer living as the turtle freed katharine
"You're safe your Highness." he said to her but his voice sounded like a teen as she bow to him saying "Thank you Leonardo...gasp" she see the sword pierced to his rib
"You're side you need to help." she said then Leonardo yank it out as it heals
"It's fine princess i'll be fine. I had survive long after Japan." he said then Goliath walk to him "We're glad to have you fighting for our home honorable warrior." he said as Leo bowed
"I'm glad to find a home Goliath. " he said
"hm. Goliath, we owe you our lives." said captain of the guard as the female gargoyle bandage golaith's hand "As we owe you ours, every day." said Goliath
(medieval music plays)
celebration took place in the castle laughter and chatter "I don't mind telling you, I thought we were all under the sword there for a while." said the soldier
"Aye. A fine soldier is our captain of the guard." said the second soldier as the captain of the guard heard them talking "Captain of the gargoyles, you mean." he said
"He'd fit right well on the cornices with them. It's a fact." as they both laugh as the captain of the guard walks to katharine "Our thanks for a battle well fought, good captain." said the princess
"The credit is not mine to take, Your Highness. Without Goliath and his gargoyles our defense would have proven useless and we thank the last Ronin of this hamanto clan Leonardo you would've been taken from us." said Captain as Katharine smiles then the mage named magus was irritated "Please, don't mention that monster's name in the princesp's presence." said magus as katharine looks at him
"Leonardo is not a monster! he saved me and I owe him!" then the door slams as the people were gasping seeing Goliath and his mate in the shadows as he growls
"Your pardon, Your Highness. I took the liberty of asking them to appear and be recognized for their bravery." said Captain
"Captain, we are most seriously displeased. To allow beasts in the dining hall" said Katharine as magus speaks
"You speak wisely, Princess. These are unnatural creatures. No good can come from associating with them." he said as Goliath walks towards them as he bows to Katharine
"Goliath, we named you well, it seems. You are as good a soldier as the Philistine giant who fought David." said the captain
"You would do well to remember, Captain, that the biblical Goliath was also a bully and a savage." Katharine replied then the female gargoyle hisses at her the princess gasps until her hisses when Leonardo appeared with his katana out stops the fight
"princess katharine your heart still never learn about who are the monsters and who is not...a true monster is rage, anger and fear within humans now you still think I'm a monster and a beast that saved you from trouble...I'm sure your father be proud." as Leonardo walks away
"If you will excuse us, Your Highness." said Goliath as he and his mate left
"In the future, Captain, you will make your reports to my advisor, the magus, not directly to me." katharine said as the captain left Katharine think thinks of the words Leonardo said
"My apologies for this, Goliath." said the captain
"No apologies needed. We are what we are. Her opinion will not change that." Goliath replied to him "Have you no pride? No sense of justice? We saved their lives and they repay us with contempt." said the female gargoyle
"She's right, Goliath. You deserve better than this." the captain said to him "These cliffs were our home ages before they built their stone fortress. They should bow to us." she said to him as Goliath held her hands
"It is the nature of humankind to fear what they do not understand. Their ways are not our ways." he said to her as she sighs
"There are times when your patience astounds me, my love." she said to him then magus was in his room looking at the book that holds magic spells he read every page
at the tower of castle Wyvern Leonardo was reading a book that belong to his father that had his initials "Hamanto Yoshi" a strong ninja, grand master and a good man of the hamanto clan as he looks at the moon
"Thousand years in eternal sleep to the distance future till the sun goes down...Father...my brothers...my love Venus and her sister Jennika soon I'll see you all again from my years of immortality." Leonardo replied with a tear never forgotten what happened to his family along with his love of his life and her sister was a friend turn to stone by the foot Clan's mage he then close his book and went to sleep but katharine was at the door heard everything like she begin to realize he's alone all his life
dawn breaks as the gargoyles turn to stone then a mysterious figure left the castle and head to the Vikings campsite "You seek the fall of Castle Wyvern?" the figure said to hakon
"What of it?" he said
"Perhaps a bargain can be made." he said to hakon as the viking look at him "I'm listening." Hakon asked till night came the gargoyles we're awakened Goliath's hand healed "Those Vikings may return at daybreak, Goliath. I say, take all your gargoyles and make sure they're gone." the captain said to him
"I agree. Let us go out in force and put an end to these pigs once and for all." said the female gargoyle
"Too dangerous. I don't want to leave the castle unprotected." Goliath said to them
"Their leader swore he'd be back. It's best to harry them far away now and not take that chance." the captain said then Goliath groans
"Very well. But I shall do it. I can scare those cowards away without any help." said Goliath said to them then Leonardo appeared "I should come along as well Goliath I move to the shadows and Stronger to fight them." said Leonardo
"That's too dangerous for you. Let me come along, at least." the female said to him
"You and the others will stay with the castle. You are my best warrior. I leave you in command." Goliath replied
"No. I cannot let you." she exclaimed
"Leonardo and I won't go alone. Remember. You and I are one now and forever." as Goliath walks away then Leo then sighed "Going alone is a worst mistake just like what happened to my clan long ago." he thought as he follows Goliath
"Mm. Mm." the blue gargoyle was eating food (hews noisily "Mm." he said
"Here, catch." said the small gargoyle tossing the mutton as the dog tries to get it then the red one has it "Back this way. Back this way. Over here." he too it to the small one
"Yeah, I got it. I got it. Wait. Toss it to me." grunting was heard from the dog trying to get it but they're moving around "Wait, here. Here. oh, look Back this way. Back this way. Over here...Yeah. I got it. It got it. Wait. Toss it!" but the dog finally got it and walked away with it then the boy from the battle walks to them but the female gargoyle was watching and growls
"I'm Tom. What's your name?" said Tom
'Except for Goliath, we don't have names." said the small one
"How do you tell each other apart?" Tom asked them "We look different." the small one replied "But what do you call each other?" Tom asked them more "Friend." said the red gargoyle as Tom smiles
"Tom. Get away from those monsters." said his mother was bieng protective to her son "But, Mother - We wouldn't hurt the lad, ma'am." said the red gargoyle
"Keep away from him, you beast." she said as she throw the stick at him then the female gargoyle roars as she glides towards the ground growls at the woman
"You're the beast, you -" she was cut off by the red gargoyle "No. If they think we're beasts and monsters." he said
"Then, perhaps we'd better live up to the name." said the small oneas they both growl with thier eyes glowing white then the gargoyle dog starts growling at the people as they'rescreamingand running
"Huh? What is it? Are we being attacked again?" said the blue one as he picks up the food till Goliath arrives looks at them the two gargoyles gasps knowing he's not happy
"You three, down to the rookery until I return. I'll deal with you then. And take him with you." Goliath said as the gargoyle dog whimpers then all four open the rookery
"We meant no harm." said the red gargoyle as they went inside "Are you blind? They were not at fault. The humans were." said the female
"No matter who was at fault, I cannot condone fighting between their people and ours. I will make it up to them later. Now I have business to attend to." said Goliath as he left but Leonardo was up at the tower waiting as Goliath shown up
"Ready Leonardo." said Goliath as Leonardo sheathing his sword "I'm all set Goliath." said Leonardo as he starts running to the fields while Goliath and the old gargoyle take the skies
"There." he said as the two land where Leonardo examine the tracks "It's them right enough." said Leonardo
"You're right young one But the tracks are very light for horses carrying armored men." said the old gargoyle as Leonardo begins to think something isn't right "They're not far ahead. Come." said Goliath
(Rookery)
"Sent to the rookery. How embarrassing." said the red gargoyle wasn't impressed "I haven't been down here since I hatched." said the blue one as he picks up the slime he sniffs at it then eats it then the small one was shocked
"I hope we're not down here long. He might eat us." he said but in the weaponry the traitor was in there was touching the bows sabotaging them at the woods Leonardo, Goliath and the old gargoyle are still searching "It's not long until sunrise. - Perhaps we should return." said the old gargoyle as Goliath spots them
"There they are." he said as they're ready to attack the Vikings but there's only two of them "Here they come now." said the first one as they fight them
"Move out of my way!" said the second viking as Leonardo and the Gargoyles realised the army is not here and the horses run off
"They were leading the horses to decoy us from the castle." said Goliath as him and the old gargoyle run out of the forest then the sun is coming up
"We're too late." said the old gargoyle as the sun rises Leonardo hears growls as the gargoyles are turn to stone
"No!" then he notice ten Vikings with maces are planning to break them as he drew his Kitanas
"Want them you go through me" as he fights them but at castle Wyvern hakon is ready to invade "Attack!" he shouted as his men charge to the castle the archers are ready till thier bowstring were cut then they breach the castle princess katharine see the captain of the guard "Captain! Captain! The Vikings, Captain. We are attacked." she said as the captain grabbed her hand
"It is worse than that, Your Highness." captain replied reveals he's a traitor sunse-s as the people along with Princess katharine and magus were taken away
"Ah! Now! Not that I'm ungrateful for your help, but why? Why betray your own kind?" said Hakon as the captain looks at him "They're not my kind." he said then Hakon walks to the stone gargoyle "Well, to work. There's little enough time for it." he said as he's going to smash it but the captain stops him
"This is unnecessary." he said
"Are you mad? In a moment they'll be flesh again and my men will be their prey." hakon replied
"Once your band is out of sight, they won't follow. It's not their nature." he said to hakon "Ah, well. In that case" Hakon pushes the captain to the wall "Care to discuss the matter further?" he said
"No." captain said as hakon let go "I haven't lived this long by taking foolish chances." hakon lifts his mace up then smashed the gargoyle captain was shocked and terrified of seeing this
After Leonardo defeated the Vikings to protect Goliath and the old gargoyle they arrived to the castle but saw it was too late
"No." Goliath replied as they flew there Leonardo see the castle was surrounded by fire and shatter stone gargoyles as Goliath flew to the spot where his mate was
"My angel of the night..." said Goliath was heartbroken then Leonardo was petrified seeing the castle fall "No...it's just like my village...my clan...my mother..." Leonardo replied then he hears Goliath roars
That's it of defenders of the night hope you enjoy the different story of Leonardo of his long journey but you'll see him reunited with his brothers and splinter including adding two female turtles as sisters helping the turtles Venus and Jennika in chapter 2 along with Goliath and his clan and meets Ash and his pals as well but there will be Thier origin story along with the mutagen involves with Utroms from 2003 tmnt and the kranng from tmnt 2012 yes I'm doing a combination of Tmnt 2003, 2012, 2017 and idw comics if you want ch 2 let me know and enjoy
