It was a rainy night in the city of Townsville , and in an abandonned building there are two young boys , one of them had spikey black hair , green eyes , and wore a shirt that matches his eyes color , black pants and sneakers , the other boy looked similiar except he was blond , had blue eyes and instead of a green shirt , he wore a blue one.

They were both sitting on an old couch in silence, not having anything to say , but they were both remembering the same thing , that event that changed their lifes.

" AAAH ! THAT'S IT ! I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE!!" Shouted Brick, leader of the Rowdyruff boys.

Behind him , stood his brothers Butch and Boomer who were simply looking at Brick as he walked back and forth in Fuzzy Lumpkins' cabin .

"NO MATTER WHAT I DO ! NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES I TRY TO KILL THOSE SISSIES , I JUST END UP LOSING DAY AFTER DAY !!"

The rowdyruff leader took deep breaths as he tried to calm down , but to no avail. So he let a furious shout that could have nearly destroyed the boys' house.

" Calm down , will ya ? Whining about it won't get us nowhere dude , instead why don't you think of another plan ?" Suggested Butch.

" Yeah " agreed Boomer .

The room was silent for a few seconds, until both Butch and Boomer were thrown into the other side of the room , when they looked up , they could see fire in the red eyes of their brother , they knew what was about to come .

After their first loss against their mortal enemies after being revived by HIM , the devil punished Brick since he was the oldest and should always take responsibility , that just made him hate his brothers , as days went by he became more abusive to them and always blamed them for every single failure . Butch, being the loyal one didn't fight back since he looked up to him and respected him , neither did Boomer, but unlike his green brother , he was scared since he knew how Brick can be while angry .

" WHO DO YOU MORONS THINK YOU ARE HUH ?! " Brick shouted approaching his Brothers.

"YOU DARE TO TELL ME WHAT TO DO ?!"

At this point , the two brothers were afraid they knew Brick can be very powerful while furious , the green ruff tried his best to not look scared , while the blue ruff was already trembling and whimpering , this only enraged Brick even more , so he kicked his blond brother, then started beating him up .

" SHUP UP ! YOU SAD EXCUSE OF A BROTHER ! I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHY YOU EXCIST ! JUST DIE ! DIE ! DIE !!!"

The green eyed boy stared with wide eyes his little brother getting beaten like there is no tomorrow , his conscious was screaming at him to save the blonde boy , but his loyalty for Brick was stopping him from doing so , after what seemed like an eternity , the red ruff was still beating Boomer who was yelling for Butch to help him.

"BUTCH ! BUTCH ! HELP ME !"

Upon hearing his cries , Butch dashed at Brick and punched him in the face and kicked him right in the stomach , that made him crash into the wall outside the cabin. The green ruff rushed over Boomer.

" Are you okay ?"

" Yeah , thanks "

When they heard Brick groaning in pain , Butch grabbed his blonde brother's hand and flew away , away from the cabin and away from him."

FINE ! LEAVE YOU COWARDS ! I DON'T NEED YOU ANYWAYS YOU WEAKLINGS !!"

And that's how they ended up in that building , alone , with no one to care of them or guide them.

"Butch, I'm scared. "

"Of what ?"

"What if he comes back ... What if he hurts us again ?"

Butch hugged his brother and whispered.

" Don't worry , as long as I'm here , that bastard won't touch you. I'll protect you little bro , I promise. "
