I was in my lab, waiting for Kara to arrive. So I can tell her what I had just discovered. Finally I heard the elevator open, I looked up and see Kara. She wearing one of her usual reporter outfits.

"Hey, Lena I got your text. What do you need to talk to me about?" Kara asked, curiously.

"I have made a discovery, Kara that could benefit Supergirl greatly." I commented, excited. Kara looked at me curious at what I had discovered. "I was researching ways to make Supergirl immune to Kryptonite. When I came across a different kind of Kryptonite, Platinum kryptonite. It changes a humans cells into Kryptonian cells instantly."

"What!" Kara yelled shocked. I hope she says yes to my idea, so that way I can protect her. Also help keep National city safe because I am tried of feeling useless. " How did you find out this kind of kryptonite?"

"Lex's old files on the Lcorp servers, he had studied kryptonite for years trying to find a Kryptonite that would make Superman human. While I was looking through his files, I realized that he found a way to make himself stronger. But he couldn't figure where to find it, since Platinum Kryptonite isn't something that naturally forms. I figured out how to stabilize the formula, Kara you are the answer." I explained. She looked at me confused, She looks so cute when she looks confused. Alex is going to flip out once she hears that I have figured out Kara's secret.

"How am I the answer to stabilizing the formula?" Kara asked, intrigued.

"Kryptonian cells absorb sunlight that's what charges your powers. But without exposure to sunlight you have no powers. The Harun-El gives people the ability to heal without Sunlight as well as other powers, it doesn't change their cell structure. But what I am saying is that Harun-El combined with Kryptonian blood is Platinum Kryptonite." I revealed, excited. Kara looked confused, finally she realized that I had figured out her secret.

"You know that I am Supergirl! how long have you known?"She asks, shocked.

"Ever since you used your heat vision on my alien detector." I answer, smugly.

"What!" She yells, even more surprised. "Why did you say anything?"

"Because I knew you had your reasons for not telling me, at first I thought it was because of my last name. Then as our friendship progressed I realized that you were just trying to protect me. Also the 'I flew here on a bus.' Was another dead giveaway." I answered, sincerely.

"You know that you are going to have to sign so many NDA's?" Kara remarks, seriously.

"Yes, and I have no problem signing them. However, what I do have a problem with is you being supergirl without someone by your side." I commented, coldly . She looks at me and smiles at my concern.

"I have Alex and the Deo backing me up." She says, trying to lessen my worry.

"But you don't have another Kryptonian to step in when you are injured or solar flare." I point out. "That's why I have been researching Platinum Kryptonite, So I could become Kryptonian."

"Lena, you already have numerous enemies if you were to become a Kryptonian. That number would triple within a week, I wouldn't be able to protect you as much as I do now." She reveals.

"I know that Kara, but I am tired of feeling defenseless. If I inject myself with Platinum Kryptonite, and become kryptonian. I could help you even more, think about National city would be safer than ever before." I explained, revealing my intentions with my discovery. "Kara, I came to National city for a fresh start. I have helped you save this city and world multiple times. But I am tried of being on the sidelines, while you're out there risking your life! Let me become a Kryptonain, so that I can help protect you and this city from Lex and my mother."

"Lena, I know that you already judged based on your last name. But you don't have to become a Kryptonian to prove that you are a hero." Kara remarked, annoyed. I looked at her with one eyebrow raised, and smirked. I know that people will always judge me by my last name, but I want to do this for you Kara. Because no one messes with what belongs to a Luthor, and gets away with it.

"I am a Luthor and you're a super, there will always be people coming after us. But imagine how much we could accomplish together, all the good we could do." I pleaded. "You would finally have another Kryptonian that would understand your struggles. What it's like to lose everything and then put on a simile. You and I are so similar, we are both damaged. But you haven't let yourself fully heal, let me help you heal. I promise you that I will never leave you, and if anyone tries anything. They will feel the Luthor name in full force."

"Okay." She finally answered, with a sigh. "But I will be training you, once I believe you are ready for the field. You will have to decide if you want to work for the Deo, or just work with me."

"I am fine with that, all I need is a drop of your blood. Then I can combine it with the Harun-El, and become Kryptonian." I answered, eagerly. Kara smiled at me, her beautiful blue eyes were filled with happiness.

"You want to do this right now?" Kara asked, surprised.

"Yes, that way I can start training as soon as possible." I answered. I grabbed a red sunlight lamp and a syringe.

"Why do you have a red sunlight lamp?" Kara asked, curiously.

"Because I wanted to be prepared for another evil kryptonian problem. I know that red sunlight weakens your cell structure to the equivalent of a human cell structure."I remarked, sadly. Kara hugged me tightly, I relaxed slightly.

"That isn't going to happen again, I am right here Lena. I know if it happens again Alex will probably ban me from being supergirl, until I have passed her fight training course again." Kara answered, trying to lighten up the mood. I would go into full Luthor protective mode, Since you Kara are mine.
