Will looked at the apartment he had grown so fond of, one last time as he grabbed the picture. He was excited to start this new chapter of their life. He quickly headed down in the elevator making sure grace was comfortable as he drove to the hospital.

Several Hours Later

Will sat in Grace's room he had only left to call her father and sisters wanting to make sure they knew Despite the rocky relationship they might have, he knew Grace would want them here.

Grace started to wake the labour had been long especially for someone her age and she was still half asleep "Will" She mumbled tiredly.

"Hey sweetie how you feeling?" He asked rubbing her hand softly.

"Like I just gave birth did everything go okay," She asked worried something may have happened.

"He's fine the nurses are just doing the usual tests and cleaning him" Will reassured her.

Grace smilies sighing in relief she had been so worried about this even if she tried to stay strong she knew the risks especially at her age. "I can't believe this is real I have a son," She says leaning forward to hug Will.

"It is real and you're going to be an amazing mother."

"Have you called my dad?" She asked as much as she didn't want to need him now she wanted him to know

"I called where you were asleep your sisters too, they were both busy but our parents are going to come tomorrow "

"I know " She smiled looking around trying to relax as the doctor came back with the baby.

"Glad to see you awake Ms Adler your baby is very healthy."

"Can I hold him?" Grace asked to which the Doctor nodded passing him over.

Grace smiled as she held him in awe of the life she had brought in.

She rocked him smiling bright in awe.

"You both look amazing and he's adorable " Will smiled hugging her "have you thought of a name yet" He asked

"Not yet I want it to be perfect," She says honestly worried that the wrong name would shape his life

"Whatever name you give will be perfect, " Will says "do you want me to get you some food I know you'll want sometime better than this hospital food?" He grinned

"You know me so well " Grace laughed groaning slightly still sore.

"Just rest I'll be back soon, " He says kissing her forehead playing with his fingers briefly before leaving, letting her have some time alone.

Will left the room heading to the cafeteria thinking back to Grace and her son made him proud and thinking of his own future both with the new house and his own daughter who would soon be here. Something he was both excited and terrified for but watching Grace gave him confidence knowing that together they would be fine.

I finished watching Will and Grace last night and started writing this. I have searched for fics and didn't find many that were after the final and wanted to try and expand on their life with kids

McCoy will be involved my love for Matt Bomer keeps him around

I know I haven't used Karen or Jack yet but I do hope to have them involved. Karen, I think I'll find it difficult to write for but hopefully, I'll get there.

Lastly, if anyone has any Name ideas for Graces baby please suggest. I have a middle name but was debating between Jacob, Mason or Luke bit not sure on those.

I have a name for Will's daughter when she arrives.
