"You're the biggest dumbasses I've ever met" Liv giggled from her spot at the counter, watching Jesse and Leon fooling around with the sunglasses in the cafe.

"You wound me, Olivia" Jesse grinned, sliding a pair of glasses over the ones he was already wearing. Leon giggled from his spot next to him, sidling up next to Liv at the counter.

"Same sandwich, as usual, Liv?" Leon asked, poking at the bread on the plate in front of her. Liv smacked his hand away, glaring at him as she tried to hide the smile fighting its way to her lips.

"I swear you're the only one aside from that blonde guy from Harry's who's been coming in lately who eats the fuckin tuna here" Jesse teased, leaning on the counter on Olivia's other side. Liv gave the blonde boy the finger, picking up half her sandwich and taking a bite.

"It's even better cause it's made with love, right Mia?" She smirked at the brunette who shot her a playful wink.

"Only for you, Livvie" Mia blew her a kiss before returning to her books.

"Yeah but everyone knows the tuna here sucks, Liv" Leon smirked, rolling the toothpick across his teeth.

"You gonna make me a sandwich then, Le? Better than tuna?" Liv teased, bumping her shoulder against his.

"Even better, baby girl. I'll take you out to dinner" Leon smirked, pulling the toothpick from his mouth. Liv couldn't help the chuckle that left her mouth at yet another one of Leon's advances.

"You're relentless. You know the answer to that, babe. Once you break up with Jesse I'll consider it"

"Hey! I'm not into dudes!" Jesse protested, stealing the other half of the sandwich from the plate. Liv's giggles filled the cafe, pulling Dom from his back office reluctantly.

"Morning Livvie" Dom smiled, making his way to the drink cooler.

Liv returned the smile, "it's 1 PM, Dominic"

"Same shit different pile, Livvie" he smirked at her, grabbing a can of Diet Coke before making his way back to his office. Liv shoved the final bite of her sandwich into her mouth before pushing off from the counter. She made her way over to the door of the office and knocked lightly to gain Dom's attention.

"The owner of that Honda wants to pick up today but Jess hasn't had the chance to check the electrical yet. Could you give them a call and tell them it won't be ready until Monday?" Liv asked, already handing him a scrap of paper with the number jotted down. Dom gave her a nod without even a glance, grabbing the paper and adding it to the top of the pile of paperwork he had going. As she moved to walk away, Dom's voice stopped her.

"I think it's about time you give Le a chance, Livvie. You two have something special. He's your ride or die. Don't let that slip away before you even get it" Olivia couldn't do much but nod silently, mulling the words over in her head.

"Okay boys, let's get back to the shop. We got work to do" Liv smiled, pulling both Jesse and Leon from their places at the counter by their shirts. Having ridden to the cafe with Vince who was currently trying to chat up Mia, Liv made her way to Leon's car and hopped in with him.

"Hope you don't mind having to cart me around, Le" Liv smiled, leaning over the console and pressing a kiss to his cheek.

"And miss out on having a pretty girl in my passenger seat? Yeah right" Leon smirked, laying his warm palm on Liv's thigh and squeezing. Olivia smiled and tangled her fingers with his, effectively pulling his hand from her leg. Leon pouted but held her hand and moved it to the shifter with otherwise no complaints.

"Le! Can I get your help over here?" Liv called out from underneath the hood of some mom van.

"What's in it for me?" Leon asked as he leaned against the front of the car.

"My love and devotion" Leon could hear the smirk in her voice as he fiddled with the wrench in his hand.

"No need to tease me, Olivia" he smiled, finally leaning under the hood next to her. Liv shot him a grin and a wink, reaching one hand back and patting him on the ass.

"Now, I need you to hold this back so I can get under to this part here" Liv mumbled, gesturing to some tubing that was in the way of the part she needed to reach. Leon immediately moved to pull it out of the way, smirking at her.

"Why not go in from underneath?" Leon chuckled, watching as Liv reached in at an odd angle to unscrew a bolt.

"Do I look like I'm stupid?" Liv raised an eyebrow, "Don't answer that, dumbass. I tried already and it's even harder from the back"

"I'll show you what's even harder from the back if you keep it up, Livvie" Leon flirted, bumping his hip against hers. Liv snorted at his words, choosing to otherwise ignore them and keep silent.

"You guys hitting the races tonight?" Liv questioned as she finally managed to get the bolt undone and the piece out. Standing back and tossing the part on her workbench, Liv began wiping her hands on a rag.

"Yeah, you finally gonna join me?" Leon smiled, a genuine smile this time. Liv smiled back, nodding once. Leon's smile managed to grow even wider with excitement.

"Wear something cute! I'll pick you up at 9!" He patted her on the ass before moving back to whatever he had been working on before helping her.

Olivia rolled up to the Toretto house at quarter to nine, dressed, unlike most racer chasers. A pair of baggy jeans and a crop top showed off her flat stomach and curvy waist but was dressed conservatively compared to what she knew girls wore to these things.

Knocking on the door, Liv waited to see who would open the door. When the door opened to reveal Jesse she almost giggled at the blonde. He wasn't wearing a shirt and his hair was sticking to his forehead, obviously fresh from the shower.

"Hey, Livvie! You're looking good!" He smirked at her, rubbing the towel against his hair. Liv smiled gratefully at him and moved past him into the kitchen.

"You know you don't need to knock around here, Liv" Dom spoke from his spot at the kitchen table. Liv shot him a smile, shaking her head.

"You know my Momma raised me better than that, Dominic" Liv spoke as she made her way around the table and playfully pushed Dom's bald head.

"Liv! I told you I would pick you up!" Leon whined as he made his way up from the basement. Liv giggled as she made her way towards him with her arms open. Leon pulled her into a hug, his hands immediately making their way to squeeze her ass.

"Le! Quit it!" She chastised him before pressing a kiss to his scruffy cheek.

"Now c'mon pretty boy, I want a slushy before the races and you're buying" she smirked, making her way to the front door. "See y'all later!" She called to the rest of the house before pulling Leon out the front door.

"Blue or green, Liv?" Leon asked, holding two slushy cups. Liv, who was shopping through the candy selection in the small convenience store, glanced up at his question.

"Blue please, Le. Sour gummy worms or skittles?"

"Just get both. And grab Jess a chocolate bar " he said as he placed the drinks on the counter. Liv grabbed all the candy and placed it next to the drinks. Leon wrapped his arm around her shoulders and pulled her into his side.

"You look beautiful tonight, Livvie" he whispered into her ear as he threw some cash down on the counter. Liv blushed and grabbed her drink before slipping from under his arm, grabbing the candy and making an escape to the car. Leon followed, chuckling loudly at her inability to take a compliment.

"Let's just get to the races, Le" she mumbled as she climbed into the passenger seat.

Although she had only been a few times before, pulling up to the races always filled Liv with excitement but she was usually rolling up as part of the Toretto crew. Now, instead of climbing out of Mia or Letty's car, she was climbing out of Leon's skyline. She noticed the stares immediately, inching closer to Leon's side nervously as she sipped on her slushy.

"Le, they're staring" she mumbled, trying to hide her face behind his shoulder.

"They wanna know why you rolled up with me, Liv" Leon chuckled, wrapping his arm around her shoulders. Liv caught on to his behaviour immediately and couldn't help the blush that warmed her cheeks.

"I swear to god, Le. If you touch my ass it's game over" Liv threatened, trying to figure out what Leon's next move was. Leon laughed heartily at her words, instead, dropping his arm from her shoulders and linking their fingers together.

"Nothing gross, promise. But you know what this means right?" Leon asked, his smirk unsettling to Olivia.

"What does it mean, Le?"

"This is officially a date" he smirked, raising their linked hands and pressing a kiss to the back of her hand. They finally approached the rest of the group, matching smirks gracing all of their faces.

"Does this mean it's official?" Dom asked, gesturing between the two of them. Liv's cheeks burned red in embarrassment, her eyes shooting away from Dom's judging stare.

"This means it's officially a date. Nothing else." Her glare levelled the group but none of their expressions faltered.

"You treat her right, Leon. She's my best mechanic" Dom threatened, causing the rest of the group to laugh. Well, everyone but Vince. The gruff man smacked Dom on the arm and offered his best offended look. Liv reached into her pocket, pulling out the candy bar she had bought for Jesse and tossing it to him. The blonde caught it with a big smile, immediately digging in.

"Any of you racing tonight?" Liv asked, she and Leon moving to lean on the hood of Jesse's car next to the blonde. Jesse nodded, immediately beginning to ramble about his excitement regarding his upcoming race in his father's Jetta.

The team stood around shooting the shit as everyone walked around and looked at all the cars on display until it was time for the first race of the night, the one Jesse would be in.

"Le, you goin' to man the scanners or you want one of us to?" Letty asked, smiling at the sight of her friends cuddled up. Leon nodded, standing from where he was leaning on the hood of the car and effectively pulling Liv with him.

"We'll be in my car if you need us" Leon smirked, pulling Liv by the hand towards his bright yellow Nissan. The girl went with him, no questions asked. One of her favourite activities at the races was manning the scanners. Usually, while Leon raced, she and Jesse would sit and listen to the airwaves. But now, she felt kind of nervous to be alone with Leon. They were officially on a 'date' and Liv wasn't sure of how this would affect the atmosphere while they were alone.

To her surprise, it was more pleasant than she expected. The silence after the excitement of the races meant that she could finally breathe and the tension rolled off her, something Leon noticed immediately.

"I meant what I said earlier, you know" Leon mumbled suddenly, breaking the silence in the car.

"What do you mean?"

"You look beautiful tonight. Well, you look beautiful all the time" he shrugged. Liv blushed again, this time knowing there was no easy escape.

"Thanks, Le. You're looking quite good tonight yourself" she flirted, leaning across the console closer to him. Leon moved his seat back, pulling Liv across the car and onto his lap. She straddled him, leaning back against the steering wheel with a hot blush on her face.

"You know I've liked you a long time, Livvie. I'm really happy you agreed to come with me tonight" Leon smiled, pressing a sweet kiss to the bottom of her jaw.

"Well when I agreed to come, it wasn't a date, Le" she reminded him, her fingers tangling into his hair. His lips continued exploring her neck, breaking away only to speak.

"Are you mad that it's a date?"

"Not anymore, not at all" No matter how much she liked to turn Leon down, she had had a crush on him for a long time. He was just too much of a flirt for her liking. Liv couldn't help but sigh in content at the feeling of him sucking on the spot below her ear. "Keep that up and I might just agree to be your girlfriend" she giggled as he scraped his teeth gently over the newly formed hickey on her neck. Liv gasped at the feeling, her fingers tugging involuntarily at his hair. Leon pulled away with a smirk, his hands moving up her body to cradle her face.

"Can I kiss you?" Leon asked, his voice husky. Lost for words, Liv couldn't do anything more than nod. Finally, their lips met and Olivia could swear that the world stopped spinning. The kiss was gentle at first, just exploring each other before Liv decided to push her limits. Her tongue brushed his bottom lip, something that shocked Leon. Their tongues danced together, the both of them getting lost in each other. Leon's hands dropped, coming to rest on her hips as he pulled her closer.

As the two of them got lost in each other, they managed to miss the voices over the scanner. It wasn't until the sirens got near that either of them noticed the people beginning to scatter. The two of them jumped apart as there was a knock on the roof of the car, Jesse's face appearing in the window beside them. Liv lit up bright red, hiding her face in Leon's neck as he rolled the window down.

"Yes, Jess?" He asked, voice hostile.

"Cops, shithead!" Jesse yelled as he raced across the street, back to the Jetta to make a quick getaway.

Once Leon and Olivia rolled back up to the Toretto house, a party was in full swing. Leon was rolling a toothpick between his teeth nervously when Liv reached over and rested her hand on his shoulder in an attempt to calm him.

"If Dom gives you shit, direct him my way. I can handle him" Liv laughed, climbing from the car. Leon was shortly after her, quickly tangling his fingers with hers and letting her lead him into the house. Once they opened the door they were met with the sight of a smirking Dom sitting in the living room with Letty on his lap.

"Hey, man... Before you give us shit" Leon started before Dom raised a hand, cutting him off.

"No worries, brother. Jesse told us all about what had you so distracted. Nothing bad happened. No bad blood" the bald man shrugged a cold beer in his hand being offered to Leon. Liv was frozen in place from shock, not expecting Dom to have reacted with such a humorous response. Leon accepted the beer, his tangled fingers still pulling Liv behind him. The girl's face was bright red, burning with shame.

"Let's get you a drink, Livvie" Leon smiled, pulling her into the kitchen. Inside there was no one else and Leon took full advantage of it, lifting Olivia onto the counter. Pushing himself between her knees, Leon pressed his lips to hers. Liv reciprocated easily, fingers finding their way into his hair and tugging lightly. They continued like that, making out like teenagers until Vince interrupted them.

"If you guys are gonna keep going at it, could you move it downstairs? Some of us are trying to get a beer. Jesse came and got me cause he was too scared to interrupt" Vince barked out a laugh, smacking Leon upside the head harshly. Liv smirked, sliding from the counter and pushing towards Vince.

"You know, V, if you were a little nicer maybe Mia would finally let you take her to Cha-Cha-Cha's" she smiled, patting the gruff man on the chest before making her way out of the kitchen.

"Coming, Le? I'm heading downstairs" she called from the doorway down to the basement. Leon cleared his throat, shooting Vince an apologetic glance before practically running downstairs.

When Leon finally caught up, Olivia was in his room looking at the photo on his bedside table with a small smile.

"I remember this day" her quiet voice broke the silence of the room. Leon's mouth quirked up at her words, knowing exactly what photo it was. It was Leon, Jesse and Olivia from when they had gone to a waterpark a few years back. Both boys had their arms wrapped around a grinning Liv, their baby faces smiling widely at the camera. It was before the three of them had stumbled upon the Toretto's and been accepted into the family as if they had been around forever.

"I miss this. Just the three of us against the world" she spoke, glancing back at Leon who had made his way into the room and was looking over her shoulder at the picture. Leon smiled down at her, pulling her into his chest and dropping a kiss onto her cheek.

"I miss it too. But I love this family too much" Leon spoke, gently taking the picture from her grasp and putting it back where it came from.

"Lay down with me, Livvie" Leon murmured, pulling her gently towards the bed. Liv didn't even try to stop him, happily laying on the bed curled up with Leon.

The two of them stayed up talking until the sounds of the party upstairs dissipated and Jesse finally made his way downstairs to fall into bed. It wasn't until they could hear the blonde's snores echoing through the basement that they even considered sleep.

"I think it's time for bed, Le" Liv mumbled, her fingers brushing over his cheekbone gently. Leon nodded, leaning forward and placing a soft kiss on her lips.

"I'm taking you out again on Sunday. A real date this time, with flowers and dinner and shit" Leon whispered, watching Olivia's face with calculating eyes. Olivia gasped in shock before nodding, agreeing excitedly to the prospect of another date so soon. With one last peck of the lips, Olivia spun around in Leon's arms so that her back was pressed up against his front and snuggled into sleep. When she woke up the next morning, Leon was already gone with only a note left on his pillow to let her know what was going on.

I had to head into the garage to work on that Honda. Pick you up tomorrow at 1. Le x

With Olivia having weekends off, she didn't see Leon again until he pulled up to her house on Sunday to pick her up for their date. When she opened the front door of her apartment she wasn't expecting to find Leon in a crisp, clean blue button-up with the sleeves rolled to the elbows. She glanced down at her own casual floral dress and frowned, immediately feeling underdressed for whatever Leon had planned for their afternoon.

"Ready, Livvie?" Leon asked, offering her his hand. Liv immediately grabbed it, tangling their fingers together with a grin. Leon led her to his car, a big smile never leaving his face.

"So, you gonna tell me where we're headed?" Liv asked, glancing at Leon. He smiled, squeezing their interlocked fingers but offering no answers. Liv pouted, choosing to stare out the window and see if she could figure out from watching instead. She only ended up even more confused as Leon pulled onto the freeway and began speeding down it, smiling over at Liv as they went.

"Leon! Eyes on the road, dumbass!" Liv chastised him when she noticed his eyes unwavering from her. Leon smirked, lifting their entwined hands and pressing a kiss to hers.

"Can't help it that you're so pretty, Livvie"

"Doesn't mean that you can stop looking where we're going! I'm trying to live through the day, Le!" she tried to keep the angry facade but broke into giggles as he winced at her harsh tone.

"Don't worry, babe. We're almost there" he smirked, taking a turn off. Liv smiled as she realized that he was taking her to the beach. When they pulled up to the beach, Liv practically jumped out of the car before it had come to a stop. Leon followed shortly after her with a picnic basket and a blanket in hand.

"Did you make me a picnic, Le?" Liv asked with a smile as she dug her toes into the sand, her shoes already in hand. Leon blushed, glancing away from her as she smiled teasingly at him.

"Shut up and just eat the damn picnic with me, Livvie" Leon muttered, spreading the blanket out in the sand for them to sit on. Olivia smiled and took a seat on the blanket, crossing her legs at the ankles as she peeked down into the picnic basket.

"Mia totally made this!" she laughed. The sandwiches looked too well made to be Leon's fine work, something Liv knew all too well.

"You know I can't cook, Liv" he shrugged, pulling the sandwiches and sliced watermelon out of the basket, followed by two bottles of corona. He offered half of his goods to Liv, who accepted gratefully. Liv used one of her rings to pop the top off the beer, watching as Leon did the same next to her.

"So, what made you finally say yes?" Leon asked, smirking at her.

"Hmm? What do you mean?"

"To go out with me, Livvie! C'mon, tell me!" he teased, poking her side.

"Why else does anything ever happen around here? Dom said something to me" she smiled, leaning over and pressing a sweet kiss to his lips. Leon of course abandoned his beer and the rest of the picnic and tackled her in a kiss, pressing her to the sand. Olivia got swept into the kiss, her fingers tangled thoughtlessly in his hair and skin burning with desire for the man on top of her. With their tongues exploring and hands roaming each other's bodies, they kissed until they were well and truly out of breath. Hesitantly, they pulled apart and Leon rested his forehead on hers, their breaths mingling together in the small amount of space between them.

"Marry me" Leon breathed, barely audible. Olivia cracked up, her giggles drowning out the confused noise that escaped Leon.

"We've been on barely one date, Le. How about you ask me again another time?" she said, smiling up at him. Leon grinned and pecked her lips.

"Be my girlfriend, then?" he asked. Olivia nodded and pressed a long, hard kiss to his lips.

"Much more appropriate. Of course, I will, Le"

Leon's face exploded into a smile and suddenly they were kissing again, their picnic completely forgotten next to them.
