A/N: So, here's a project that I've been working for so long. And yes, this is something that I wanted to do and devote my life into for so long when I first stumble across this website. I managed to do and create a superhero AU story, but not those characters where they were saved someone from fire or wear a tight spandex suit.
This is basically a story I always wanted to work. Somewhat inspired by My Hero Academia (if you haven't watched that, watch it. It's really good, I would recommend it for everyone right now who's watching this), and other superhero content or comics like Marvel, DC and etc. Anyway, this is how far I can go with the Author's Note. Please, enjoy this fantastic work that I put all my hard effort on. I bet you'll enjoy it, as always.
Ah, the normal day in a normal world. Sure, there are a lot of people who important things to do right now. But what you're going to witness might get your taste of interest. The population across the globe are known to be heroes. That's right. Heroes.
And I'm not talking about the ones in a spandex suit or who just saves the city all day (okay, maybe that's included, so there), the world has been populated by heroes ever since the day needed them. Don't know when it all started, but it did say that it all started during either the start of gladiator war and other dark ages events. All the world knows is that one of them started the whole hero thing. Aside from that, the percentage of the population are heroes, just to repeat if you're lost.
Not the fact where kids can be heroes and babies, too. It's a complex thing. There are some adults who are heroes around the world, constantly using their powers to do some extreme tasks that front liners can't do. Those type of heroes are the ones with unique abilities. Another task for those kinds of heroes in the biggest thing in history: Villains.
Villains started as those people who can't do anything right. Or the way about it, is that they wanted to use it for dominance. Or the fact that they have a terrible life back in the past is just a low-key cliché that must be not avoided, but used sometimes. The total mass of villain activity increased since the day it all started. But it lowered since the years pass by, and it still happens as if it were a life cycle.
In conclusion, villains cause mayhem, heroes stop it and beat villains, and the cycle goes on and one…
In a normal looking, two story household, it focuses on a not so small room, but the interior is somehow like a suburban room for a teenager. In the room, we see a boy in his early teens, sleeping heavily in . A normal looking bed, that is.
BEEP, BEEP, BEEP, BEEP. The sound of the alarm clock set off, and it didn't even wake up the boy. Knowing his room, it looks like he had a lot of comic books on his shelf and he had his phone, still on his hands.
"Lincoln! Wake up! You only have thirty minutes! You're almost late for school!"
The yell from his parent made the young boy named Lincoln awake, letting out some gasping from his sudden slumber. His face is also like he was up, all night watching heroes fighting villains on his phone.
The boy's name is no other than Lincoln Loud. The boy with freckles, a not so scrawny build on his body, slightly tall, and a snow full of white hair on his head and it's not dyed.
Some little history about this kid, he lives a normal looking house with ten sisters, which he wouldn't trade for the world. And speaking of ten sisters, he learns how to live in a house with a big family, and he did survive it somehow. But now, things changed. His older sisters are now in college and Lincoln is now the eldest of the family, considering himself as the "Alpha Male" of his younger sisters.
Back to Lincoln, he stretched his arms and let out a heavy yawn, and yelled. "I'm coming!" he said in thoughts. "Ugh… I know I shouldn't watch does hero fights…"
After taking a shower for himself and putting on some fresh clothes before leaving his bed, he somehow can feel a presence that his sisters are gonna do some noise, despite the day is Thursday morning. "Ah… another day in this outstanding, still standing, alive house." He said to himself.
In the other room, two twin girls, one wearing some pink fashion like attire and the other wearing boy-like attire, but it suits for girls, began fighting at each other. And the one thing they're fighting over is a five dollar bill.
"Lana, give it back!" The pink fashion attired girl yelled. "That money was mine and I owned it"
"So?" the girl, Lana, spat back. "You clearly haven't done any thing in this house, not even a single chore around. So, I deserve to have it! It's called facts, Lola."
"Lana, that was you! You haven't done a single chore in months!"
"Sure. Sure, I haven't done anything, but who are you to say it?"
"I DO!" Lola growled, gripping her hand into a fist as she summoned a pink, translucent, energy, which grabbed Lana and throwing her back to their room, and grabbing the money. "There. Now I deserve it."
Suddenly, a raccoon jumped from the room, attacking the pink attired girl. The raccoon grabbed the money with its mouth, jumped off the girl, and transformed into Lana. "No, I deserve it, pinky!"
The pink energy came back, shaking the animal shifter and throwing her to the ground. Then, Lana made an "X" shape with her arms, transforming into a cat, running away from Lola, after making a pink hand trying to grab her.
Lola Loud: Equipment: Pink Power Ring.
Lana Loud: Equipment: Wrist Animal Changers.
As pink blasts started shooting from Lola, Lincoln tries his best to avoid it at any cost, the eldest white-haired boy try to leave the hallway, until he was greeted by something grabbing him on the leg.
"Huh?" Lincoln looked down, only to find out that his leg was being grabbed by a octopus tentacle. "Gah! Get it off! Get off!" he panicked.
While kicking didn't work, a robotic tendril injected the tentacle on the boy's leg, passing out from the fluids. A girl with shaggy brown hair and eyeglasses came out of the room, who happens to be the one who injected the squid with her tendril backpack. "Apologies with you screaming in fear, elder brother. Experimenting a squid that I borrowed from our father was a terrible choice." She said. "Or was it…" she wasn't unsure.
Lisa Loud: Powers: Her IQ Level.
"Although, ever since you became the eldest of the family, I must assure that you never ever tell me to cease some of my experiments." Lisa stated, feeling curious. "How come?"
"I don't know… Maybe it could be a little change that you started acting mature?" Lincoln guessed.
Lisa just smirked and let out a emotionless snicker. "Oh, elder brother, when are you going to learn to the fact that I never tried to make any of my experiments work to a success." She said. "It takes time, but time is meaningful and, hey, who knows, I might be enjoying it."
"Well, I'm glad you're doing it now." Lincoln said. "Speaking of which, is Lily in there? I need to know if she has something that belonged to me. I really need it. In case if she… you know, take it by accident."
"Lincoln, I get it that your room is off limits for a valid reason, and not like Lori before when everyone of us is still around." Lisa said. "But knowing Lily as my roommate three years ago, I can say that she'll never steal anything or grab any personal belonging by mistake. Besides, she's only four, and she would-"
"Hey, guys. We need to get ready. School's in another fifteen minutes." The voice of a monotone female said, shocking her two siblings.
Lucy Loud. Powers: Undead Powers
"Lucy, I know how much you love to go through walls in a quicker way, but can you at least tone it down a little?" Lincoln said. "I mean, we can't let it keep happening in this house. I think my heart almost stopped."
"Sorry for scaring you guys, but we need to make a move already." Lucy reminded. "Mom and Dad left and we haven't done anything yet to leave the house."
"Okay, but first, answer me this." Lincoln said. "What where you even doing? I can tell the twins are still fighting over their lunch money, and Lisa here with her experimental problem. But what were you doing?"
"Finding Lily."
"Oh, Lily. Knowing her, I can tell she's playing hide-and-seek this time. Last time she did that, we almost found her in every part of the house. And don't let me say the bathroom because that's out of the question."
"Actually, you're right about all those things. But I did heard her talking about a notebook that she found."
Before any of them can continue, a door painted in red opened, revealing a four-year old with a paintbrush, which cause the door to magically appear. And on her left is a notebook. She was no other than Lily.
"Oh hey, guys." Lily greeted. "Sorry if I was taking some of your precious time for school, but you would not believe it! I found this really interesting notebook in Lincoln's room. I think he's trying to write down some important stuff. But who am I to know?"
Lily Loud. Powers: Magical Paintbrush.
"I'll take that, thank you very much." Lincoln snatched the notebook from her in time. And speaking of time, he looked at his watch that he only has ten minutes before the school bus arrives. "Woah! Okay! Chit chat over! Okay, guys. We need to move, now. The school bus will be here in ten minutes."
With that said, Lincoln and his younger sisters decided to make a move, literally. After a quick breakfast and some waiting time, the school bus arrived. The younger sisters boarded inside the bus and take their seats separately. Unknown to the baby of the family, Lily starts to wonder where her brother is.
"Hey, Luce?" Lily asked, who's beside Lucy.
"Yeah?" Lucy responded.
"Have you seen Lincoln anywhere? I think we're gonna leave him behind if he doesn't come back. Did he lose something inside the house?"
"Actually, Lily." Lucy started. "He never takes the bus to school."
"Huh?"
Lisa pops up from behind, who's seated between Lola and Lana. "If I might recall, Lincoln never takes the bus due to him believing he might 'interfere a fight'."
"You mean…?"
Then, the twins popped out. "Uh-huh. He thinks that watching a villain attack will be a good idea for him to know about heroism." Lola stated.
"BUT… that's what he only said. He did say that he's 'busy dealing with other stuff'." Lana quoted.
"Well, whatever it is, I hope it'll be worth his time." Lucy pondered.
"Well, we'll just wait and see." Lisa said. "Besides, he's fourteen. He can mostly depend on himself by now."
Somewhere on the streets, Lincoln is running his way, straight to middle school, in the middle of a nice, sunny day in May. But on his face right now, he wasn't eager to go to school or any sort of that stuff, he was excited to head to the only thing he wanted to watch.
A villain attack, being dealt with a hero.
Lincoln Loud. Powers: ?
THEN ACING HEROES
CHAPTER 1
THE FIRST ENCOUNTER
Timeskip after one day of class….
After a long and boring day of school, the Loud boy rushed from the hallways to the exit of the middle school, finding hopes on a villain attack in the city. Lincoln just kept on running and running until his feet stopped, due to a large crowd of citizens watching something that caught their eyes. Curious, Lincoln just walked pass through them, and saw what he's seeing right now on his two front eyes.
A hero fighting a villain.
There it was. The one thing that Lincoln was born to see for so long, since his first day in elementary school. The villain attack was actually an insect monster that almost looks like it was mutated or just another abomination gone wrong, that only a group of public heroes can deal with.
The insect monster was actually a cockroach villain. He taught it would be a dangerous criminal on the loose or some mind-controlled beast. But what matters most is, Lincoln got to see it before it goes somewhere to the end.
"Hey, look! It's Fore Rockets!"
"Woo! Kick that bug's ass!"
As the citizens called out the hero names, Lincoln turned his head to see two public heroes in action, entering the scene. Two heroes look different: One is a burly, bearded, man with metallic forearms with some design. And another who's wearing riot armor, who just threw a device onto the ground, creating a barrier behind the citizens.
"Please! Stay back! Do not enter beyond this barrier!" the riot geared hero said, in a female voice. "Fore Rockets, try to take it down while you have an opening. Quick!"
"Copy that!" With that said, the armed hero launched out his arm rockets to the enemy, causing it to take the heavy launching blows of two fists. "Haha! Take that, you freak!"
Public Hero: Fore Rockets
Public Hero: Riot
While everyone is watching, Fore Rockets was about to launch himself to stop it, only to find out that the cockroach villain made a counterattack by throwing various rubble from buildings he grabbed.
"Nice try, buggy! You can't miss this!" Fore Rockets launched out his arm rockets, punching through every rubble that's about to pass them.
Buy again, the cockroach monster reloads itself more rocks to throw at, keeping Fore Rockets busy.
"Damn it, this guy's keeping me busy!" Fore Rockets yelled. "Riot. Call in for back up, now! I can keep this thing distracted while it just keep growing rocks."
"On it!" Riot speaks to her intercom earpiece. "Calibre. Are you there? That's you're cue!"
In the rooftop, a hero wearing a black uniform attire positions himself with his sniper rifle. "Yeah. I hear you already. Since that thing's getting distracted, I'll just have to shoot it, that's all."
Public Hero: Calibre
He aimed for the cockroach villain for the perfect accuracy. "Alright... Just hold still... And... Now!" He pulled the trigger. "Go! Paralyze Bullet!"
Calibre - Move: Paralyze Bullet
As the bullet races like lightning, the cockroach monster was s seemingly distracted by it, only to glance at the bullet for his only eyes. Before it all could happen, a group of scorching rocks flew towards to the cockroach villain, knocking him out and letting fly towards to ground.
Calibre was confused, and somehow dumbstruck. "Huh?"
Suddenly, a woman floated her way to the public eyes. "Sorry to come in uninvited, I was making a dramatic entrance as usual for my fans."
Public Hero: Meteoress
Lincoln began to narrate the about the public heroes. "Ever since the day had begun, the society across the globe began to create the Hero Act Organization, an organization consisting of heroes who would fight for the live of every innocent life as long they're around. And so far, we're all thankful to have that in the world."
As the cockroach villain was defeated, the heroes were starting to get interviewed, Calibre gave a glare to Meteoress for taking the glory, and the other two were being interviewed.
"Of course, villains are still everywhere and crimes had been dropping to 10% across the globe. The reason is because it's the heroes being everywhere, and another is that it's all thanks to another hero organization. No wait, they're more of a group. They're called... The Golden Squad,"
"The Golden Squad is the known hero group to exist in the world. It contains one of the best to join to protect and serve in the frontlines. It was also founded by my favorite hero and one of the best, known heroes in history... Axis Fighter!"
Of all what Lincoln narrated was true. The known hero to exist was one of the top public heroes to exist in the hero society. Mainly, it's no other than Axis Fighter, a hero who uses his own ability and only power: Strike Technique.
There's history with the power of Axis Fighter. He doesn't rely on weapons except for his lightweight gauntlets, giving him the free-will to perform powerful close quarter combat skills. This is a reason why people admire him, because he's one of the known heroes in the world, and he fights for what's right. and to add, he is a heroic one.
Back to reality, Lincoln was observing the cockroach villain's unconscious body. There, he starts to scribble some notes on his notepad. Knowing that he loves comic books and admires the public heroes, he even had the free will to write some very important notes so that one day, he can analyze their fighting style. Oh, and if you're guessing what he's writing about? It's basically about the heroes he just twenty minutes ago, and he's currently writing about Meteoress.
"... so with that much rocks she can summon, it might also be able to create a much powerful force of knockouts... Yes... that could be interesting, but she can might rely on smaller few rocks, but it can twice as bigger and..." Lincoln has a habit when it comes to this part, he mutters all the time in a rapid and creepy way, while doodling or analyzing the heroes.
"Hey, kid. What the heck are you doing here?" a police officer called out. "You do know this a crime scene, right?"
"Oh, s-sorry, sir. I was just doing some research." Lincoln reasoned out. "Yeah. That's it. It's really important."
"Oh, I see. Well does your research relate to this crime scene? If not then please leave this to the professionals and stay safe, kid." the police officer said.
"Oh, alright. Thanks, I guess." Lincoln said as he starts to leave.
Eventually, while walking off the scene and heading back home, Lincoln can overhear from his phone a police report happening now.
"The cockroach monster known as Dirt Eater, was defeated after escaping in prison after six months, and it's all thanks to the Public Heroes who came in just in time. Recently, reports are now saying that a piece of the cockroach monster ran off to nowhere, which gives civilians the time to be cautious about the whereabouts of the cockroach. In other related news..."
Lincoln just keeps walking and walking, until he hid in the alleyway, without being unnoticed. "This is my story... on how my day goes when I meet... the greatest hero of them all."
In Royal Woods Elementary, the twins Lola and Lana are in the cafeteria, all lined up. Lana had multiple bruises on her cheeks and Lola was just looking frustrated about her, along with Lisa, Lily, and Lucy.
"I told you to let go of the money, Lana." Lola started. "And look, it started flying away when we left the rooms, and you got yourself hurt."
"That's because you're using your magic ring." Lana mocked about the ring part.
"And what's so special about that ring of yours? When's the wedding?" the animal shifter mocked once again.
"I'll have you know, that this ring helps me use my energy for things that don't seem right and what just happened, wasn't." Lola said.
"Whatever. I'd rather have some onion rings over metal rings any day." The tomboy twin ignored as she smells the food in the cafeteria.
"Lucy? Aren't you gonna eat? You know, you haven't eaten anything since we left home." Lisa pointed out.
"Sigh. You're right, but I'm not in the mood." Lucy responded. "I'm actually worried about Lincoln and his habit of whatever it is he's doing. All we know that he just went out watches heroes fight with villains." she said. "Mom and Dad are worried that he might get himself hurt because of that."
"Well, we don't have to worry about that now, gloomy sister." Lisa said. "Besides, we have five older sisters who are now partaking the role as Public Heroes. They'll protect Lincoln no matter what."
"Yeah. Unless they get their hands full, they won't." Lucy stated. "Lynn told me about that problem of theirs, and Lori is the one suffering more. Time and time if you ask me."
"Okay, you made your point." Lisa admitted. "Lincoln needs to stop somehow."
"How? Lincoln only listens to us when it relates to his stuff or if it's really important but even that's rare." Lucy said.
"Maybe he just needs some time for himself, I mean, can we at least respect his choice?" Lily spoke.
"Uhh... Lily, I don't think you understand..." Lucy said,
"HEY! Keep moving back there, you're holding up the line!"
The sisters moved on after being yelled at by some student at the back.
"We really need to convince to Lincoln sometimes." Lily suggested.
"Good luck with that." Lucy said, as she headed back to her seat.
Later, the sisters are now seated together in one table, where they began to eat. Lucy was about to grab her milk, when Lana suddenly grabbed it with her frog form, after transforming back to her human.
"What the? Lana!" Lucy scolded, still in her monotone voice. "Give it back! You know, you have your share."
"Yeah, yeah." Lana didn't care. "But come on, you always said that milk doesn't make you feel relaxed with food. I mean, you always said that."
Lana Loud. Equipment: Animal Wrist Changers. Lana can change into any animal in the animal kingdom of her own choosing. But unfortunately, she can only use one, so she needs to be reliable on what animal form she takes.
"Yeah, but this time, I really need it." said Lucy. "My throat's killing me after a long read-a-story test."
"Oh, really. Tell that to last time." Lana said, drinking her milk.
"Alright, fine. Then let me do a 'thank you' move." Lucy said, as she used her undead power to create a portal to grab her chicken leg, putting a little ointment into it.
Lana grabbed the chicken leg, and when she took a bite out of it, she somehow was shocked that the chicken turned into dust. She spit it out. "Wh-what the!? My favorite chicken leg! How!?"
"It's obvious who's your sister, Lana." Lucy said, with a stern monotone. "I have the will to put a curse into anything. But never on humans."
Lucy Loud. Powers: Undead Casting. Lucy can do pretty much with her magic powers. Such as flight, summoning spirits, become invisible, walk through walls, and the ability to possess objects.
"Oh, come on." said Lana.
"An eye for an eye." Lucy said. "Ever heard of it?"
"In this case, a milk for a chicken leg." Lola snickered. "Man, how can you be so blind about that, Lans?"
Eventually, school ended for the elementary girls. As they prepare to walk home, Lily somehow grabbed her Nintendo Switch and started playing even without paying attention, while the other sisters are having a little chat.
"So, do you think we can visit Lori at the RECON base?" Lana asked. "I bet it's gonna be cool when she lets us take a look at the place."
"I don't think military factions don't allow kids." Lisa interrupted. "Even little kids..."
"Kid?" I'm like ten." Lana corrected.
"Figure of speech, sister."
As the sisters kept going on their conversation, Lily, still not paying attention, was walking straight to the crosswalk, only for a truck to drive and not even noticing the little girl with the Nintendo Switch. Lola noticed this, and she, in act, screamed.
"Lily! Wait! Stop!" No use, Lola used her Power Ring to summon a big hand, pulling her out of the way as the truck drive by.
Lola Loud. Powers: Power Ring. Lola can manifest and create anything with her Power Ring in her desire, with help of her emotions. Abuse of power with the ring will leave her powerless.
"Woah, thanks for the save, Lola." Lily thanked.
"The next time that happened, I won't be gladder to see you turn into a pancake." Lola said, with a mad expression on her tone.
"I'll take that as a 'you're welcome'." Lily said, as she continued back to play her Nintendo Switch.
"This kinda of reminded of the rest of our sisters leaving." Lucy stated. "Not since all five of them left." Lucy said.
"And Lincoln being out all the time." Lisa stated too, glaring at Lily. "It would be possible that your math homework was done wrong again, younger sister. As much as I can tell, that your grades in Math is very low, so I took the liberty to be your tutor for the rest of your first grading." Everyone stared at her like if she was serious. "Seriously, her grades in Math are slipping, and it's all because of videogame and drawing. And I even made a device to let me monitor Lily, if she's listening in class."
Lisa Loud: Powers: Her IQ Level. Lisa can create various devices that she can built to monitor Lily or the rest of her sisters. The gadgets that she built are the Monitor Orbs that she mentioned, and her main gadget, The Spec Glasses. Normal-looking glasses which can give her some little information on stuff. Why? For research, of course.
"How is that going?" asked Lucy asked.
"It's anything but improving. She simply doesn't pay attention." Lisa said.
"Hey, guys. I got a cool way to enjoy our day, while we're here outside. Why not we race heading back to the house." Lana suggested.
"Hmm... you know, that could work." Lola stated. "I think losing a bit of baby fat will suit nicely for my body."
"I can't really run, but I'll try." Lucy said, knowing that she's not in the best in athletics.
"I would like to partake in this challenge of yours, I do require my limbs being stretched." Lisa said. "What about you Lily? Do you wanna...?"
Eventually, the four were left alone with a red paint scattered on the ground.
"... join us?"
Meanwhile, a red painted door opened, revealing Lily as she exited with her index finger, painted in red.
"Heh, and they said I'm a cheat for challenges." Lily taunted. "Ha!"
Lily Loud. Powers: Paint Manipulation. Lily can create and draw with the will of her fingers, allowing her to manipulate them in reality, just like what she did just now.
"That's not fair!" Lana cried out.
"Well, you failed to tell us that we can't use our powers for this race." Lisa sarcastically said.
"True, true." Lana sighed. "Dang it! I should've said that." Lana stated.
Meanwhile...
"AAAAHHHHHH!" A woman screamed, knowing that there could be a villain attack. And so far, yes, there was an villain attack.
"Hey, somebody stop that thing! It's gonna wreck everywhere!"
It turns out that a cockroach human-sized villain is escaping the scene, with a devious smile on his face. He somehow started to cause some trouble before fleeing.
"Is there a hero that can save stop that thing?"
"In an afternoon like this? I don't think there's gonna be one right now."
Suddenly, a man, wearing few body armor and helmet, is seen flying on the sky. Which suspected the civilians into thinking that he was going to chase after it.
"Hey, look! It's him!"
"Oh, thank god! I thought I won't get to see the day!"
"Who is that?"
"The World's Heroic Fighter."
Somewhere, in another part of the city, a group of robbers are seen filling up their getaway van with some illegal stuff. Don't know what's that illegal stuff, but it could be either drugs or weapons.
"Hey! Hurry it up back there!" the driver said. "We need all that goods delivered by sundown. So, hurry up!"
"Hey, you're the driver! How about you get your ass in here and help!" one robber said, panting after placing a heavy load. "Geez, what's in these things? And why are they heavy?"
"The boss wants them and he said don't ask or you'll deal with him."
"Oh, right but come on." He complained again. "He could've at least given us some time."
Outside the garage, the men are acting as bodyguards in case if they're gonna be attacking any police. Suddenly, they both saw a figure standing in front of them, barely. And he's hiding in the shadow.
"Hey, hey you!" one armed robber yelled. "I can see you, what are you doing back there?"
"Hold on, man." another armed one said. "Maybe he's not that much of a talker. Let's just shoot him and see what's gonna happen."
"And let them leave us?" the man said, annoyed. "Like hell I'm gonna let that happen." facing to the shadowed figure. "Hey! You better leave or we'll shoot."
Without a word, the figure walked close to them and just walked, then the armed robber readied his weapon.
"Don't come any closer." the robber said, who's ready to fire.
The figure stops.
"Now leave!" the robber said, still aiming his weapon at it.
The figure stands in place.
The figure clenched his fist and started charging at them,
"Hey. Hey! What the-?!"
Then, it was just all screams and punches being heard outside.
Back in the garage, "Hey, did you just hear someone outside just now?"
"No. Not really. Why?"
Then, the door suddenly was blown away, with a man being used to break it through. The robbers and thugs were confused by this. They all heard some footsteps, only to see a white jacket with blue coloring on the half of the forearm along with an orange shirt inside, long brown pants with a belt attached to it, and a pair of black boots. He even wears a ski mask that's being covered with googles, and wields a pair of hollow-shaped pistol-molded blasters.
"What the hell?!" the robber said, in complete shock. "W-W-Who are you?!"
"Just a guy who's looking for some illegal stuff in this garage." the vigilante said.
"Hey, I know him. His that vigilante." the thug said. "His from TV! Hey, I know you, man."
"Heh. We can take him out." the driver said, with ease.
"Hold on, you really don't know that much, do ya?" the other thug said. "That guy's been wanted for being a vigilante, we don't even know who's in that mask."
"I can tell: Dead meat!" The thug charged at the masked vigilante, only to be dodge him, got grabbed, and gets counterattack. Which started a fight for the vigilante.
The vigilante was prepared for this, like really, he is.
"Get him!" he yelled, letting all the thugs with him charge at the vigilante.
The vigilante started to attack them with his trained hand-to-hand combat, mix with his blasters, knocking them out easily. So far, three thugs tried to escape, and another bearhugged the vigilante, causing him to charge his blasters, from the punches and attacks he did, with some orange effect. The vigilante grabbed the thug, dodged his punch, and strike him - when he switched the mode of the blaster to some sort of melee weapon. No, a pair of bulky batons - with that much force, creating a hole on the garage door.
The vigilante left the garage, only to be have his mask almost torn by a knife-wielding thug, followed by a powerful kick to his googles, sending him to the ground. The vigilante groaned in pain.
"Not so tough now, are ya?" the thug mocked him with his Glock, aiming at his head.
"Oh, I don't rely on my strength." the vigilante said.
The vigilante dodged his way from him, as he wielded his melee weapons back to its blaster mode. He shot one with three shots of concussive bullets, and the other with two shots, and a swift kick straight to the garbage can.
While thinking it's over, another thug, which is the driver, grabbed a steel pipe and charged at the vigilante.
"You know, vigilantes are illegal in this society!" He shouted, only to get dodged by the vigilante, he turned around to face him, only to shoot multiple shots at him back to a puddle of water.
The vigilante grabbed a ball-shaped device and threw it at the puddle, where it exploded electric sparks on it, electrocuting the driver in the puddle.
So far, he won his fight, but that's where he heard some police sirens.
The police cars came, and as they got out, they all saw the knocked-out bodies of the thugs, and a damaged garage. And no sign of the gun wielding vigilante.
"Looks like they were visited by the teeth breaker fairy." one of the cops, a fat one, said
"Let's get them in cuffs!" another cop, who's African-American, said.
They start to place the thugs in cuffs and into the police cars. The cops still looked shocked and confused of the not-so crime scene that was caused just now in the alley they are at now.
"Who could've done this?" one of the concerned cops asked.
"Just a loser vigilante who got lucky." one of the thugs growled, who was the only one who wasn't knocked out.
"Well, looks like you and your friends are gonna have a big, hour talk with us." The officer said, bringing one of the thugs in the car.
With that being done, the vigilante saw what the end of the fight will be, and started to flee by jumping building by building. As he stopped at a nearby pizza place, the vigilante removed his mask, revealing no other than Lincoln Loud, who was actually the wanted vigilante.
"Now, it's time for some grub." He noticed that he was standing on said pizza place. "Hmm… I could use some pizza."
Inside, there are options of pizza toppings in the counter, and Lincoln is having a hard to choose. Until he was greeted by the local pizza owner, Mario.
"You know, we have a new pizza topping: Deep Dish Chicago, with cheddar on top." Mario said. "Since you're the main customer all the time, why don't I interest you with that."
"Sure, Mario." Lincoln agreed. "Anything as long as it's your hands that makes it great."
"Alright, one deep dish pizza coming right up." Mario said, as he started to get ready. "Good choice, white haired kid."
Once his pizza is ordered, the white-haired vigilante started to watch his phone for some hot scoop of hero action. And it's live. He even felt relaxed after the trouble he been through.
Ever since he became a vigilante trained by some vigilante group, Lincoln always dreamed of becoming a hero. He can't due to him being powerless and being a vigilante. Vigilantes around the world are considered illegal. With or without powers, with or without the law around them, and so on and so on.
While watching, Lincoln noticed some parts on the video that caught his interest. He noticed the World's Heroic Fighter just stopped a robber with a gun, along with his pet monster, only to get defeated in an instant.
"And that's it for the crime scene, and it's all thanks to The Heroic Fighter In The World." A news reporter said. "Excuse me, Mr. Axis Fighter sir, but what can you say to our viewers who are watching you now."
Axis Fighter chuckled, "Well, it's not that simple, but it's more of a message." he started. "If you have the right path in you, then you to can be a hero."
"Well, you've heard it from a very wise hero right here, folks. This action live 901 signing out." the news reporter said, ending the report.
"Wow... I wish I can be like him, just like how I dream about it when I was a kid." Lincoln said to himself.
Later, he's seen walking out, in his normal attire and not his vigilante attire. "Looks like I have to get back home and repair this damn thing. The guns are a little hard to repair, since they run on magazine batteries, but I can't come back anymore to the Outlaws, I promised I'll never come back. And, my google's broke and the mask's all rip to that knife. But the blasters are more import-"
He stopped talking internally, after he heard some noises from the alleyway. Lincoln felt suspicious so he takes a look at it, and so a humanoid cockroach-villain in the alleyway, causing some ruckus. There are three or four unconscious bodies and said bug. Not wanting to interfere yet, Lincoln just kept watching.
All he can hear is some growling, and some insect noises.
He somehow placed his palm on an unconscious person, only to wake up when he's mouth is being covered by cockroaches. He tried screaming, but it only got worse.
Lincoln just stood there, like it wasn't nothing to handle. He knew that his two blasters are nothing but prototypes and his attire is basically damaged. No other choice, Lincoln decided to interfere, only to say.
"Hey, you."
The cockroach villain saw him, and witnessed Lincoln now wearing his masks, gloves, and his damaged googles. And he really looks eager to fight.
"Why don't you fight me instead! Leave them alone." he almost said in a shaky tone, because beneath his ski mask, he looks like he's about to pissed himself off.
"Oh? They didn't put much of a fight but you'll do...whoever you are." the cockroach villain said, with confusing tone under.
"I help people and..." Lincoln said before being interrupted by the cockroach villain.
"And I don't care." He interrupted. "I help myself." the cockroach said.
"You shouldn't be like that." Lincoln nagged, with a tone of a freelancer's voice.
"And you should take this!" the cockroach villain yelled, who throws a trash bin at Lincoln.
He blocked them with his hands, only to get apprehended by the cockroach humanoid. Lincoln didn't act fast, until he failed to sucker punch him. Ultimately, the cockroach humanoid trapped him with his own body, and letting him get defeated easily.
"You look young to me. How about I give you a little taste of my treat!" He said as he placed his palm on his mouth, starting to let his body get filled with cockroach skin, which looks like it was being shed.
"My cockroach skin may look like it's shedding, but it can kill anyone in the next thirty minutes." The cockroach humanoid explained. "But don't worry, once the process is complete, you'll die hopelessly!"
Again, Lincoln can't fight back, due to the poison starting to get to his body. He tried squirming and tried to scream as best as he could, but that didn't work.
"Don't waste your breath screaming, kid!" the cockroach said. "Unless you want me to make it quicker!"
He was begging to think that if there could be a Pubic Hero who can save him this time. At least one Public Hero can do. All what matters is that he's gonna get saved by one of them. But suddenly, the cockroach humanoid was interrupted by a powerful straight forward punch, sending him away and separating Lincoln from the cockroach humanoid, only to spit it out.
"Stop right there, villain!" the mysterious hero said, "And don't worry citizen..."
It was Axis Fighter, who was in front of the white-haired vigilante.
"Justice has arrived!"
"Oh great, another one!" the cockroach villain cursed. "What in hell are you here for?"
"Someone who heard about reports on a villain insect like you, surviving the incident earlier." Axis Fighter recalled the incident about Dirt Eater getting beaten.
Lincoln just stared with his eyes in shock, witnessing his favorite hero in front of him. To think he'll be saved, but knowing why a Public Hero is here, that could be the reason.
"Wait! I know who you are!" the cockroach humanoid finally remembered. "You're Axis Fighter!"
"Correct. Seems like we have a smart learner here." Axis Fighter. "But can you outsmart this?!" with a pose and using his back into it, he made a punch in the air and yelled. "Volcano Strike!"
With that said, a forceful fist of fire let go from his hands, aiming to the cockroach humanoid, who started to burn from the blaze.
"Huh! A mix of fire and wind? Is this his power? Elemental Manipulation?"
"And now for the finishing move, from wherever you came from!" Axis Fighter charges at his opponent as his hands are now transforming into a fist of metal. He yelled. "Titanium... Strike!"
With that made, the cockroach villain's body started to fade away, and knowing how much force was made, Lincoln can barely see what's happening, but it was something that he first saw in his entire life.
Axis Fighter threw some sort of capturing device to keep the remains of the cockroach humanoid, who almost fits in the said device. "There. Now that you won't escape in there, you'll be in a lot of trouble once they deal with you."
At first, Lincoln was stunned, because he's staring at one of the best heroes and some part of his childhood. Lincoln's expression looks like a mix of frozen and utterly screaming internally.
Axis Fighter walks straight to him. "Ah, young man. Not only that you stood bravely and got lucky that I came in the right time, I even managed to say thanks. Why? Because of your bravery and your strength. I appreciate it."
Lincoln started to quiver his mouth, then followed by some stuttering. Then the stuttering became a total fanboy. Or a nerdy fanboy for a clear answer.
"You're...welcome...you, sir." Lincoln somewhat managed to get his words together.
"No problem, young man. Now, watch... as I go!" Axis Fighter somewhat said dramatically as he jumped in the speed of light, flying on the skies. "Alright, now that I already contained this incident, I can finally report the authorities about it. Now, if only I can find... Wait, something's on my... Gah!"
It was revealed that Lincoln is seen riding on his leg, which caused the Heroic Fighter in The World to freak out, and same with Lincoln.
"Ahh!" Axis Fighter screamed.
"Ahh!" Lincoln right back to him. Due to the fact that he locked himself onto his legs in the sky, with the air pulling his mouth and eyes.
"Young man, what are you doing?!" Axis Fighter asked, in a bit of an enraged tone and with a hint of confusion from the fanboy and a really bad impression to add.
"I just wanna ask questions from you personally!" Lincoln responded, but it was almost clear for him to hear despite the wind taking over.
"Sure! But let me go! You're freaking me out by your sudden appearance!" Axis Fighter said scared.
"But I can't! If I do that, I'll get killed from the sky!" Lincoln stated.
Axis Fighter felt dumbfounded. "Ah! Of course, right where you are, young man!" The two landed on a business building to have a proper discussion together, and maybe a scolding from Axis Fighter because of Lincoln's sudden appearance. "So, young man. What would you like to ask me?" Axis Fighter asked. "And normally, I would scold you for your sudden behavior, but make it quick."
Lincoln couldn't think of the words he could say, but he did remembered back from his childhood that people used to belittle him because they saw him as a "not worth being one" next generation hero. His sisters wouldn't belittle, but they would just spit out facts about reality and fantasy, even if the world is not that fully covered by heroes and villains alike. Which made Lincoln became a vigilante trained by a secret organization, until he left, to this vary day to ask.
"I've always been put down by everyone, letting them crush my dreams because they said that I'm gonna worth being a hero. They think I'm not ready for the life to take that path. You see, I'm vigilante, and a wanted one for sure. But the reason I did it is because I'm trying to reach out my goal. So, my question to is... can I be a hero... a hero who's fighting in the shadows?"
Axis Fighter listened to the white-haired boy's reasoning, "A vigilante? Who wants to become a hero?" he muttered.
And with that, the two just stood there, like it was nothing.
