Elizabeth mournfully walked to the school house with Rosemary.

"Are you sure you're ready for this?" Rosemary asked. Elizabeth nodded.

The school came into view and Elizabeth remembered Jack built that church. She teared up instantly. She wasn't ready for this.

She ran home. She ran into the house and slammed the door behind her and flew onto the couch and cried herself to sleep.

Elizabeth woke up 2 hours later. She looked out the window along the horizon. She took a deep breath and opened the door.

She walked to the pond. School should he out by now. Elizabeth needed time to think.

She walked along the sides of the pond. She turned her head toward the horizon again. A figure limped toward her, a figure that seemed so familiar. Elizabeth gasped. Could it be?

She started walking towards the figure. She had tears in her eyes as she started running towards the cut and bruised figure.

"Jack! Jack!" Elizabeth through herself into his arms and wept like she would never stop. Jack also wept.

The couple stood there for ten minutes just soaking up being together.

"Elizabeth, oh Elizabeth! I remember!" Jack cried.

Elizabeth finally pulled back still weeping. She stroked his cheek. "What do you remember?"

"The landslide, I pushed someone out of the way. I fell off the cliff and hit my head I think. I didn't know what happened. I found a coach that took me to…to someplace. But then I started to recognize the area. Oh my dear Elizabeth." Jack kissed her.

Elizabeth smiled through her tears. "We need to get you to Carson." Elizabeth helped Jack into town.

Faith Carter was sweeping out the infirmary when she saw Elizabeth walk into town helping Jack.

"Carson! Come quick! Every one look!" Elizabeth cried in joy.

Everyone came running out of buildings to see what Elizabeth was screaming about. Many had guns, others just came running.

Faith dropped her broom and ran to Jack and Elizabeth with tears in her eyes. "Jack! Jack is that really you?" Faith yelled. Jack just nodded. By now everyone in the town was running toward the couple.

Carson came just as quickly as Faith did. "Elizabeth what's the matter…?" He trailed off when he saw Jack. Everyone was speechless, just staring at the couple. Everyone was crying.

"Jack! Jack, we need to get you to the infirmary!" Carson ordered. He took Jack's other side. Many others offered to take Elizabeth side but she refused to leave Jack's side.

Carson and Elizabeth helped Jack up the stairs with Faith following. Many others tried to follow but Faith told them to stay. Carson helped Jack on to the bed.

"Carson, Jack said he remembered, he said he remembered me, like he had forgotten." Elizabeth said once Jack fell into a restful sleep.

"That could be a sign of concussion." Carson answered while he cleaned Jacks wounds.

"He also said he fell off a cliff and hit his head." Elizabeth took Jack hands in hers.

Carson nodded. "We'll have to ask him some questions when he wakes up, see how much he remembers." Elizabeth nodded. She still couldn't believe that Jack was alive. Who was the man that they thought was Jack? Who was it that they had buried on the funeral? She still had many questions, but for now, she was just glad Jack was alive. Tears again threatened to spill over her eyes.

Faith put a hand on Elizabeth shoulder. "Why don't you go home and rest for a while?" She suggested.

"No! I'm staying with Jack!" Elizabeth almost yelled. Then she realized what she had done. "I'm sorry Faith." She apologized. Faith smiled.

"It's okay." She walked away with Carson to leave Elizabeth alone.

"Oh Jack, I missed you so much." Elizabeth whispered to her sleeping husband. She bent her head, a tear silently slid off her cheek and onto the bed spread. Jack lifted his hand and brushed a tear from her cheek.

"Me too Elizabeth." He smiled weakly.

"Faith, I'm worried that Jack's concussion might be worse than we think. He said he fell off a cliff, if it was a cliff than he could lose his life. But it might have just been a steep slope he tripped and tumbled down." Carson confessed to Faith with his head in his hands.

Faith put a hand on his shoulder. "We'll do everything we can; we won't let Elizabeth go through the pain again.
