Summary:
With his first foray into Vanguard, Kondo Yu-yu makes his first foray into romance.
The very fact he had to say "I'm a boy" that much and couldn't ever rebuff his sisters' invitations to dress him up as a girl should have been important indicators. But it took Megumi-san's misunderstanding – her imaginings of a shameless love affair between her Big Bro and the newbie – to bring the actual burn to Yu-yu, and now it was a reflecting Yu-yu who did not understand.
Entrusting Trickstar to him. Introducing him to everyone at Night Amusement Park. Tickling him till he melted.
Was Danji-san…declaring his intentions? Or was Yu-yu just wishful?
Both?
Danji-san was so awesome just to sing the possibility. Even when he also acted under the assumption that Yu-yu had fallen in love with him (incorrect at the time), Danji-san not only dismissed any problem with it…He promised to escort him responsibly!
Yu-yu was just a rookie. He just started learning the basics of being a cardfighter. About romance too, clear as the sky is clear.
If Danji-san asked him out, would he choke as always with people's requests, and be unable to say no?
Hadn't that kind of already happened here?

The wedding he saw Danji-san preside over that afternoon…That might be him someday, next to Danji-san, stammering out a vow at the altar! What a miracle that would be!
His dream taking flight, Yu-yu got why Megumi-san passed out down on the pavement.
If Princess Time agreed to loan him the recipe, he could probably whip up a half-decent copy of the Big Kani-Kani Parfait Danji-san enjoyed.
That's a great step toward showing someone they're irreplaceable to you, right?
Or, since Danji-san already raised his voice that he'd be open to a future with him, should Yu-yu simply move to release the secret in his heart?
Did Danji-san think he looked cuter as a boy or a girl? Maybe he should submit himself to his sisters for another overDress makeover.
Yu-yu rose and clamped his fingers to his warm chest. He envisioned a beautiful, true world and would keep going, going on the road.
"It'll be okay. Most likely."
