Only sound you can hear is the rain outside as it hits everything in its way. Vale is the one of the Kingdoms in world known as Remnant which preoccupied by four kingdoms. Currently our focus is on a simple two floor building with a giant neon sign.

Devil May Cry

Building is occupied by two teen male. One of them sitting while he has his feet on table. He's currently asleep with a gun magazine on his face. He has unkempt white hair, red vest with a black shirt under it. Red pants and black boots. Fingerless gloves as well (Dmc1 and Anime outfit.)

Other male is sitting on the couch while reading a poet book with a giant V on the front cover. His hair, unlike the other one is swapped back, giving it a spikey look. He wears blue coat, black vest, black pant and boots. He has fingerless gloves too. (Dmc3)

These are the twin brothers Dante and Vergil. Sons of the Legendary Dark Knight Demon Sparda. 2000 years ago Sparda fought for humanity against demons and Grimms. He was so powerful, he damaged the Grimm Queen and sealed the Demon King Mundus away. But of course these feats took a great deal out of his power, so he had to remain in his human form all the time after the war. While exploring the Remnant, he met a human woman named Eva. They quickly fell in love and get married, hence Eva gave birth to twins. Nowadays Sparda is still popular but just a legend. There are very few people who knows he's real.

One day Dark Knight vanished and leaved his family behind. From that day Eva raised the boys all alone. But Sparda's absence crated a perfect opportunity for his enemies so Grimm Queen and Mundus sent their soldiers to attack them. Eva hid the Dante in closet while she went to find Vergil but Dante didn't listen and went after his mom with his sword. He reached the Vergil first and helped him defeat some Grimm and Demons. During the fight, the demons that managed the past the brothers, attacked their mom and took her life. Since that day, Twins promised revenge and started the live in streets while training themselves in their power and weapons.

While Vergil is calm, collected, intelligent. Dante is complete opposite. Wild, funny, lazy, uncaring. But when the situation calls, Twins are the best duo there is. They currently running a business called Devil May Cry. Dealing people with demon problems. Their powers are unmatched and immeasurable. So they didn't have to go to a combat school.

Comfortable silence between two brothers was ended by a phone call, also waked Dante from his slumber. Lazily reaching the phone, he picked it up.

"Devil May Cry." Also responded in a lazy tone, which made his twin eye roll.

"Hello young man, I called to say Jackpot." Man in the phone responded. He sounded old but not that old. His response made Dante stir in his chair. Getting into more serious mode. Vergil noticed this so he closed his book and start listen.

"You said the password. What's the deal?" Dante asked. Customers with passwords were rare. Usually Morrison or Lady brought job to them and they were usually about a Grimm that difficult to defeat. For normal hunters of course. These jobs of course earned them some titles as well since they defeated the Grimms very easily. For Dante most popular one is Legendary Grimm Hunter. For Vergil it's The Dark Slayer.

"Hmm yes. I want the offer a job for you and your brother. I'm Ozpin, The Headmaster of Beacon Academy. Recently Demons appearing around the school. Our stuff handled the lower levels but we have no defence against high levels." Man, recently named Ozpin explained. Dante listened with his eyes closed. Vergil was listening as well, thanks to his superhuman hearing.

"Probably a hell gate opened somewhere close to school. Well old man if you pay well, we'll take care of the problem." Dante answered. Making Vergil nod. As much as Dark Slayer hated to admit, they are broke and needed money. They were able to open the shop thanks to Lady.

"I assure you, your pay will be generous but perhaps if you can come to my office tomorrow, we can talk more details." Ozpin said. Dante looked at his twin for approval. Which Vergil responded with a simple nod.

"Well we'll be there, so see you then." He responded and hung up without waiting for a response.

"That was rude Dante." Vergil spoke for the first time. Giving his buffoon little brother a light glare. A glare probably make people shit their own pants.

Dante merely shrugged. "He woke me up from my beauty nap." He said while going back to his previous position.

"So Beacon Academy. Home to children with no talent whatsoever. Of course they will not be able to handle demons." Vergil said with a scoff. His face is unreadable.

"Stop midgeting people Verge, they need help and we need lien so I can pay back to Lady and get some pizza. You can do whatever you want." Younger brother responded.

"I still do not understand your meaningless and disgusting obsession with Pizza. You should eat more healthy food." Older brother scolded his twin.

"It's not like it affects me or something. A bullet to head won't kill me so don't worry, I'm pretty sure I can handle diabetes." Dante said with an uncaring attitude. Making Vergil sigh heavily.

"Do as you wish Dante. Now I'll be sleeping since we have an appointment tomorrow so I expect you to do the same. We do not want to be late." Vergil said before he went to upstairs.

Dante just closed his eyes and put the magazine back on his face. Getting lost in his dreams.

Hello, this my first attempt to write and I'm pretty sure it's not good but Devil May Cry is my favorite series and I have read some awesome stories here so I've decided to write something for Dmc community too. If you want the help me to write or get better please send me a message. Also I don't wanna make them students but also they need to stay close to teams so we'll see what happens.
