Star Wars Sequel Rewrite

This is a my rewrite of the sequel trilogy of star wars films. While this is probably a dead horse at this point, most people know that the star wars sequel trilogy was a Utterly Incoherent set of films that somehow spit on the original trilogy while at the same time shamelessly ripping it off. However I am not going to fester that negativity but rather create something new.

(Note: This is my rewrite of the sequel trilogy of Disney films. In saying that I have a couple rules when I wrote this.

it has to start 30 years after the return of the jedi.

I cannot focus on protagonists or antagonists from the last two trilogies.

I have to feature an intelligent look at authoritarianism (Mainly to stick to Ryan Johnson's incredibly childish view on that matter.)

Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, and Han Solo have to die during the trilogy.

I have to write a fundamentally different story from the last two trilogies.

I cannot use any characters/plot elements made after the force awakens (I.E. Mandalorian, Season 7 of the clones wars, etc)

Prologue:

Thirty years have passed since the fall of the empire at the hands of the Rebel Alliance. Since it's collapse the galaxy entered a period of chaos as criminal syndicates, imperial warlords, and various other factions tried to fill the vacuum left by the empire. Three nations emerged from power struggle: The New Republic led by Chancellor Mon Mothma, The Mandalorian Hegemony lead by Mand'alor Bo-KAtan Kryze, and the Galactic Commonwealth led by Former Imperial Grand Admiral Thrawn.

The New Republic formed after the fall of the Imperial Government on Coruscant. It exposed values of the old republic while at the same time placing in various reforms and policies to prevent the rise of another Palpatine, although it suffers from slow progress due to political infighting and disputes between the weather and poorer systems. To the north of the republic the Mandalorians formed a formidable nation in the outer rim. Currently under the leadership of Bo-Katan, the Hegemony practices fierce independence from the republic and the revival of the old mandalorian glory. To the west and south of the new republic is the Galactic Commonwealth led by Former Grand Admiral Thrawn. Thrawn came to power either through peaceful or violent means by bringing the various Imperial Warlords into the fold. Although many believe that Thrawn has no intention to stop his conquests after he defeats the last remaining warlords.

Princess Leia, furious that the New Republic refused to stop Thrawn's rise to power, stepped down as chancellor and left for the commonwealth to form the Mid-Rim Militia. A group formed from various freedom fighters within Thrawn's territory. This all came to a head after the disappearance of Luke Skywalker. After his temple on Yavin 4 was burned to the ground and many of his pupils they where heartlessly murdered, Luke vanished from the galaxy leaving leadership of his order to Mara Jade Skywalker. Meanwhile on the planet Naboo, resistance to Thrawn's rule has been particularly prominent. However this turned to open rebellion after the governor of the planet was assassinated by a local resistance cell. Thrawn has sent an elite squad to pacify the planet once and for all...
