I never created Superman TAS.

Kara had no idea why Reverend Amos Howell glowered near her. At least until she saw the phone she held. Her text about how boring the preacher's current sermon was.

Thirty minutes later, Kara dressed in her Supergirl costume and went to check on the phone. Her head tilted to the side when she saw the empty area. Where she usually placed the phone. On the bedside table. She couldn't remember misplacing it. She attempted to recall what she did after church.

Viewing Reverend Amos Howell always scowling. Refusing to address her.

Were footsteps heard in the bedroom? She couldn't exactly remember. Supergirl began to fly from the bedroom to the kitchen door. Her eyes were on Amos while he sat by the table and ate a sandwich.

''Do you know where my phone is?''

Amos grinned. ''Maybe.''

Supergirl started to scowl. ''You hid it? Why?''

''I'm a boring preacher. Remember?''

''About the text... Sorry about that.''

One frown replaced the preacher's grin.

''My phone?'' Supergirl asked.

Amos reached into his coat pocket and revealed the phone before he returned it to Supergirl.

''Thanks,'' Supergirl said after she smiled.

Amos stood. ''I'm going for a stroll,'' he said. There was another smile. ''Would you like to join me? Then again, I'm a boring preacher.''
He continued to smile.

''Maybe later. I'll search for hungry or territorial creatures to defeat.''

''The usual?''

Supergirl started to nod. Her shoulders went up slowly. ''I guess I can join you. I'm sure I'll also find a creature to battle.''

After Supergirl flew up the stairs and into her bedroom, she placed the phone on the bedside table. She then returned to Amos and followed him outside.
