I do not own any American Gothic characters, this is a work of fan fiction. This story is a continuation of my previous stories and follows on from New Friends.
It was a calm clear mild night in Trinity South Carolina, there was a gentle wind rustling the leaves on the trees and the large full moon illuminated the cloudless sky, lighting the deserted sidewalks.
Lucas Buck lay back comfortably in his large kingsize bed and stared up at his Wife appreciatively, admiring her toned figure in the moonlight. After their previous disagreement with her instinctive need to pull away from her family duties, giving in to her strong curiosity to delve into uncharted grounds, Gail had been more focused on ensuring that their family had a proper routine recently. This new focus meant that their day to day activities ran smoothly and there was more time for their night time fun.
Gail rolled her eyes at his smug demeanour, sensing how satisfied he was with her obedient behaviour of late and resented him when he let out a loud pleasurable moan. She had taken a step back to re-examine her responsibilities after Caleb had openly declared them as his parents, renouncing all others in the eyes of the public. Gail had chosen to stop being so selfish with her time and shifted her focus primarily to her living family, much to her own irritation and Lucas had welcomed the change with open arms.
All was going well and Caleb had started to behave more like a normal child his age, turning up to school without complaint and playing with his friends. He ensured that his homework was completed before dinner time in the evening, freeing up his time after dinner to either play with his younger siblings or play on the PlayStation 5 that she had gifted him for being so good. It turned out she had well and truly become domesticated and the only plus side of the situation was that Lucas was furious Caleb was gifted with yet another games console, sullying his ancient home. The thought of his fury amused her and she had started considering other ways that she could subtly infuriate her husband, hating what she was required to become for the sake of their family.
Lucas sensed her unguarded thoughts and gripped her wrists tight, spinning her around and pinning her hands above her head as he continued the rhyme that she had started. Although he was happy with her full commitment to their family, he still sensed her desire to break free of the mould and cause him some disruption. Lucas was never one to conform himself and he welcomed some chaos in his life; however, he knew Gail well enough by now to spot the warning signs when she was ready to pull away and it was always their children who suffered when she got restless.
'I'm not restless, I'm bored' Gail responded to his thoughts, then let out a loud moan when he increased his pace and thrust himself harder inside of her.
Lucas laughed at her shocked moan and brushed his lips against hers teasingly, sensing how much she wanted to taste his tongue in her mouth and resisting the urge to satisfy her unspoken wish. 'There's things we can do together if you're bored Love, defilin' our vintage home is not an acceptable way to amuse yourself' he scolded, biting his lip to hold in his satisfied moans.
Gail smiled at his attempt to pull rank and pretend that he was not close to unravelling like she was, then clenched her body and laughed as his loud moan escaped his mouth when she tightened around his manhood. 'Oh Soulmate, defiling is such a judgemental term. I'm merely giving our Son the best possible technology to enable him to rise above the other degenerate children of this town...Surely, you'd want him to have every opportunity to show how superior his upbringing really is' she said sweetly, closing her eyes when he forced himself deeper inside of her and began thrusting harder.
Lucas inhaled deeply in an attempt to keep his composure, then pulled out of her and turned her on to all fours, choosing to change tactic.
Gail gripped the pillow tight as he began pounding in and out of her relentlessly to show his dominance, she knew that she had hit a nerve when he had no comeback and switched to his default setting of proving how easily he could overpower her. She loved it when he let go and punished her, the feel of him inside of her was exquisite and she knew that she would be reminded of this act all throughout tomorrow due to the force he was using.
Lucas smiled at her acceptance of him and stroked his fingers down her back tenderly, then gripped her hips tight and sped up his thrusts. He felt their climax building and the intense pleasure she was giving him was nearly too much to bare. He bit down hard on her beck when he completely unravelled and exploded within her, then smiled as she buried her head in the pillow in an attempt to stifle her calls.
'Jesus Lucas' she panted, finally lifting her head up from the pillow and inhaling deeply to get some air into her lungs.
Lucas laughed at how hard he had worked her, then turned her on to her back gently and pushed his hard manhood back inside of her. 'You didn't think we were done did you Love?...Do you need a rest?' he panted sarcastically, smiling at the longing in her eyes and impressed that she was still willing to entertain his fun when she was clearly exhausted.
Gail took in another deep breath in anticipation for another round, then dug her long nails into his back and scraped them down hard, smiling when she saw the excitement in his eyes. 'Me need to rest? I'd be more concerned about your heart giving out on us old man' she retorted amused, then let out a loud moan as he began dominating her once more.
Lucas kept his movements slow contrary to what she expected and pushed himself as far as he could within her, smiling when she called out his name in pleasure. This was where he truly had her, she always fought the tenderness and hated how it made her feel; however, she could not resist when he showed his true feelings for her and he felt her guard begin to melt.
Gail cursed him for changing his tactics once again, not expecting him to want to take her so tenderly. She attempted to keep her composure and refused to cave like some love sick puppy; however, she felt her guard begin to disappear and knew that he had won this round. Just as she was about to resign fully herself to his tenderness, a sudden bolt of warning surged through her brain and she pushed Lucas off of her abruptly, sensing that something was very wrong.
Luke sat up straight in his large bed and rubbed his eyes tiredly, confused as to why he was awake. He was having a wonderful dream re-enacting the punishment that he had brought down on the older boy who used to tease his Brother; however, he was jolted out of his sleep, much to his annoyance. He stared around the room curiously, wondering what had disturbed him and suddenly felt himself being drawn towards the window.
As Luke slowly rolled out of bed, he heard the familiar growls of his Mother dog Gideon and disregarded the dog when he tried to nip at his pyjamas to pull him back. He continued on his present path, feeling his feet moving instinctively and climbed carefully up onto the window ledge to peer into the large garden outside.
Luke felt a wave of caution flow through him and stared out of the window bravely, disregarding the warning. He smiled happily when he spotted his strange new friend stood in the middle of the garden, with her wet hair draped over her face and shielding her cold gaunt appearance. When he blinked his friend was suddenly beneath his window and he laughed excitedly, wondering how she had moved so fast.
Luke watched as his new friend held her hand towards him and he gently touched the window in the hopes of reaching her. When he felt the glass in his way, he let out a disappointed sigh and instinctively began fumbling at the lock situated at the bottom of the window. The windows of the Mansion were secure, his Father had taken into account all security measures when choosing to move Luke to his own room; however, Luke felt his small fingers being guided by an invisible force and smiled triumphantly when he felt the lock click open.
Luke pushed the window open without hesitation and saw his new friend smile. He felt good that she was happy with him and he wanted so much to play with her. Without thinking Luke leaned forward and reached out his small hand to show that he wanted to go to her, suddenly a strong gust of wind blew him further out of the window and he felt himself begin to fall.
'Luke no!' Gail screamed in horror from the bedroom door, then let out a relieved breath when Gideon clamped his teeth around the back of Luke's pyjamas and yanked him back into the bedroom.
Luke hit the floor hard and began crying, not sure whether it was the shock that had upset him or being pulled away from his friend.
Lucas rushed to the room in time to see Gail run to Luke and pull him to her chest, cradling him protectively. His eyes turned towards the open window confused, then he moved to his Wife's side when she let out a quiet gasp.
Gail stared out of the window at Rosemary, who was staring up at her mischievously, then began shaking her head in anger. She stood her ground as Rosemary held her intense stare and let out a relieved breath when her past self retreated back towards the sanctuary of the Trinity River.
'Care to share what just happened Love?' Lucas asked unimpressed, trying to hold in his own anger at the attempt made on his family on his property.
Gail sensed his thought and let out an amused laugh. 'You tell me Soulmate, seen as you put him on her radar by letting him provide a temporary plaything for her' she responded through gritted teeth, attempting not to alert Luke to her fury and took her Son back to the safety of their bedroom.
Caleb sat at the Kitchen table waiting patiently for his Mother to cook him breakfast. Gail was usually up by now and had prepared his lunch, in addition to cooking breakfast; however, the Kitchen was untouched this morning and she was nowhere to be found.
'God forbid you boys do something for yourself' Gail said abruptly, as she entered the Kitchen with Luke in her arms and trying to assist Abe into the room.
Caleb turned towards his Mother to respond to the unnecessary comment, then saw Abe shake his head in warning and decided to get up to make her a pot of coffee.
Gail sensed Caleb's initial urge to challenge her, then felt him soften and sighed at her own bad attitude. It was not Caleb's fault that she had been kept up all night with worry, that honour went to her youngest Son for his concerning antics.
'I'm sorry' Luke pouted apologetically, sensing his Mother was mad at him and stared at her with innocent eyes.
'Oh don't you start with that butter wouldn't melt look, I get that from your Father on a daily basis' Gail snapped unimpressed, then placed Luke down on a chair beside Abe at the table and went to the refrigerator, stroking Caleb's back apologetically for her overreaction when she passed.
'Did I miss somethin'?' Caleb asked Gail quietly, sensing for once that it was not him who had upset her and not being used to seeing Luke in the firing line.
'Well, your little Brother decided to try and take a dive out of his bedroom window in the middle of the night. Somehow that means all us boys are in for these amazin' snide digs from your Mother' Lucas answered before Gail had a chance and shot his Wife a smug smile when she stared at him angrily.
Abe and Caleb turned towards Luke shocked, causing the younger boys eyes to start welling up with tears. When Abe reached for Luke instinctively to comfort him, Gail threw a large plate on the floor, causing Abe and the children to jump as it shattered loudly.
'Love-' Lucas started calmly, sensing that she was ready to break.
'Don't Love me-' Gail interrupted furiously, then turned towards Abe. '-You don't get it Uncle, he was falling out of the damn window! God knows what would've happened if Gideon wasn't there to drag him back and the damn dog nearly took a chunk out of his back in the process!' she yelled angrily, then felt herself becoming upset at the thought of her youngest Son being harmed and stormed out of the Kitchen to get some air.
Abe glanced at Lucas apologetically, not meaning to cause his Rosie to break.
Lucas let out a small exasperated laugh at Abe's concern over his Wife and waved off his regret, then handed him his Daughter and knelt down beside Luke, turning his chair so the boy was forced to look at him. 'Your Momma is very upset, she don't mean to yell and she's just sad over what may have happened had we not checked on you when we did' he advised reassuringly, wiping a tear from his Son's cheek and feeling his rage beginning to rise at the situation.
'It's my fault-' Luke started sadly.
'It is when you try to jump out of a window, what were you thinking?' Caleb asked disappointed, feeling his own darkness starting to stir at the intense emotions of his family.
Lucas saw that Luke was about to lose what little control he had and breakdown fully into tears, then pulled him off the chair to rest on his knee and stroked his stomach affectionately. 'He had help Son, it ain't his fault' he said finally to Caleb, cursing himself for allowing Luke to form a link with Rosemary.
Caleb stared at his Father in disbelief after sensing his thoughts and was confused over what he had let Luke do, then stormed out of the room and went to find Gail in an attempt to calm her.
'Anythin' I can do to help boy?' Abe spoke up finally, sensing it was safe with just him and Lucas being the only adults in the room.
'Turn back time and make this here boy's Mother have an ounce of self control' Lucas sighed, then began laughing with Abe and passed Luke to his old friend to allow him to cheer him up.
