Seeing this Gwen and Max decided to stop the plant monster on their own, Gwen kept him distracted while Max searched for a weapon that could kill the creature.
Ben thought, why am I doing this? I never ran away from a fight, so he regained control, put the blanket that covered ghostfreak back on and flew off to attack the monster, however, grandpa max who had just found the weapon that could destroy the plant creature shot .
The explosion was so powerful that ghostfreak was pushed violently and collided with Gwen.
When he was able to get up, Ben noticed that he had returned to being human, however something was not right, he felt lighter and weird, Ben ran towards the river and saw his reflection in the water, when he saw it he could not believe it, Ben was in Gwen's body.
Ben immediately thought "wow, this is quite strange, although not bad at all".
