In return, the dark, stormy clouds took over. I had my face pressed against the glass, which was once a warming sensation, now piercing cold. But suddenly, the bus shook violently, everyone and everything became engulfed with silence. This continued on for a few terrifying moments until I heard a few gasps and whimpers of fright, /spanspan style="font-size: 14pt;"but my feelings were the opposite. I was confused. This can't be a coincidence, first sudden weather change, then a miniature earthquake, and suddenly my /spanspan style="font-size: 14pt;"campmates/spanspan style="font-size: 14pt;" were whimpering with fear! /spanspan style="font-size: 14pt;"Then I saw it. That freakish creature from my dreams, with those petrifying red eyes that seemed to stare into your soul, ragged and scarred face, twitching antennas, and with the hairiest and pointiest nose I have ever seen. Its pointy fangs showing whenever it opened its mouth. And whenever it opened its mouth, remember to cover your ears, its scream may petrify you./span/p

Its hairy eight legs spread across the bus windows with its abdomen sticking right out. You can almost see the hunger in its eyes as it crawled up and down shaking the bus. Everyone around me was now screaming out loud, even the teachers didn't seem to be able to control themselves. I don't what they saw, but it was something bad as well. Oh, and by now I should tell you who I am. I'm Annabeth Chase. This is my first time coming back to the mortal world after a few years now and didn't think that the monsters would be going after the mortals as well. That monster is called the transpid, and it can turn into the victim's worst fear. The main reason for this is to torture the victim and make sure that the last they see before they die is something they dread. I had seen a whole army of these in my dreams and to add to it a demon-ish voice threatening to destroy my camp if I don't pass over my boyfriend, Percy Jackson. They would welcome me as a hero and give all that I could ever want, even a loving father and mother. This would have been tempting a few years back, but /spanspan style="font-size: 14pt;"I had been threatened /spanspan style="font-size: 14pt;"so many times that it's normal.
