Hey guys, this is my second story. It's not going to be anything dramatic or have any stakes or anything, it's just a story I wanted to you're confused about my ocs, check out my other story.I probably won't finish it, but it does describe my oc's enjoy.
"Explain it to me again Yui," Kirito requested calmly. He and a few of his friends were having a relaxing afternoon at Agril's cafe, while at the same time discussing a plan to raid a very monster-infested dungeon they had discovered.
"Of course daddy," Yui responded before launching into an in-depth analysis." The dungeon is located on the 97th floor and has an approximation of somewhere between two hundred and three hundred monsters. These monsters are very lowly ranked, being anywhere between levels 3-19, however the sheer multitude of them warrant a larger raid party than we currently have assembled."
"Two to three hundred huh," Asunua replied while in thought. She then took note of her other friends currently at the cafe with her, which included Leafa, Liz, Yuuki, and was there, but he was on duty and thus not part of the conversation." Then we would need the rest of our party, and around half a dozen more players as well."
"Well good luck with that," Klein chimed in, "With all those new monster hordes spawning in, we'll be lucky to find a single player not too busy to help us." ALO had recently begun loading in random dungeons on previously cleared floors in order to encourage players to keep coming back. The rewards for these dungeons were very rare items and such, this caused most guilds and parties to dedicate their time to searching out for these dungeons.
"Hey! Don't sound so defeated," Liz interjected cheerfully, "If we really look, I'm sure we can find some players to help us. And hey, maybe they'll have a pretty lady or two you can try to hit on." She added cheerfully.
"Heh, I wish. And what do you mean "Try" to hit on her?"
"Oh, nothing, heh heh heh!" Liz added with a giggle.
"Does anyone happen to know 6 to 8 players who don't mind teaming up with us?" Yukki asked while trying to polish her deep purple blade."The rest of The Sleeping Knights have irl commitments, lucky me." She added somewhat to her medical condition, she didn't do much living outside ALO.
"I'm sure we can afford to wait for them," Asuna added, trying to cheer her up."Besides, it doesn't look like we have much of a choice. I mean, it's not like we know a bunch of players that could help us." The rest of the group nodded and appeared ready to give up. However Leafa, who'd been quiet during this whole exchange, finally had an idea.
"Wait! We know a bunch more players that might be able to help us, don't we Kirito?" Leafa exclaimed with an excited look on her face.
"We do?" Kirito asked quizzically, trying to rack his brain on what his sister was referring to.
"Yeah! Furo and his friends! Remember? They helped us in that swamp quest!" Leafa explained.
"Oh right!" Kirtio exclaimed, finally remembering." They're really powerful too, they'd be great at this!"
"You seem really excited about this," Asuna observed," how many players are we talking about here?"
"Well lets see, there's Furo, Ander, Pharis, Marciek, and Eizo." Leafa counted off." That's five more players, I know we wanted six players, but these guys are really strong, so we might be okay."
"Well it's better than nothing I guess," Liz conceded, "Alright, I guess we're doing this. I guess I'll contact the two call your friends and see if they'll help out."
"Already on it," Leafa explained as she opened her player menu. She then scrolled through her friends list in hopes of…..Aha! Furo was currently then began typing a pvm for him."Hey Furo, my friends and I are going to raid a monster heavy dungeon, do you and your friends want to come too?"
A little while later, Furo replied." Sounds good! I checked with the others, Pharis, Ander, and Marciek are available. If you need more players, how about letting my older and younger brothers join us? They're even better at these games than I am!"
"Sounds good!" Leafa responded," When you get everyone together, stop by Agril's cafe so we can all head out together."
"Sure thing! See you in a bit."
After that, Krito and Liz worked together to call the rest of their friends in order to finish preparations for the raid.
One hour had passed before the rest of their group logged in and arrived at Agril's shop."Alright, the others should be here in a bit." Kirito explained to the group once they all assembled.
Sure enough, the door opened and a familiar Undine entered, followed by a salamander, a pooka, and finally two sylph's .The shorter sylph was small and looked to be somewhere around four foot three with green hair and eyes. He had brown shoulder armor over a light green gray slacks were adorned with belts and pouches filled with potions and most notable trait was his quiver on his back and his yellow and green bow on his side. The other sylph was much taller, being around six foot one. His shoulder length hair shined a gleaming blond. His light armor was white and silver and matched his green-silver shoulder cape that covered his right arm. On his left hip was a gold sheath with a green sword handle stashed inside of it. Both the sylphs, along with the other recently arrived players, all had welcoming smiles on their faces."Hey guys! We're here!" Furo announced proudly.
Leafa quickly took up greeting the new players." Welcome everyone!" She stated excitedly."It's great to see you all again!"
"Thanks for coming!" Kirito started"I wanna introduce you to our is Klein, Agril, Sinon,Silica,Liz, Yuuki, Yui, and Asuna."
"Hi! It's great to meet all of you!" Asuna cheerfully stated.
"Hello!" Yui cried out while in pixie form and sitting on her mother's shoulder,"It's nice to meet you!" She echoed.
"Hey guys." Liz started, then she developed her trademark mischievous grin. "Finally more boys! I was wondering where all the male players were."
"Liz! Don't start with that so soon!" Silica scolded her bashful friend. She then turned her attention to the guest,"Sorry about that! Thank you for coming to help us!"
"Hello," Sinon said simply. She seemed to be carefully examining everyone.
"Hi everyone! I'm Yukki! It's great to meet you! You guys look strong! What are your levels? Have you been a part of any raids? I've never seen you around, are you new to AOL?" Yukki explained in one breath.
"Heh heh, ignore her," Klein advised." She's always like this. I'm Klien by the way."
"And I'm Agril, welcome to my shop." The large man said, giving a thumbs up.
"It's great to be here, thanks for having us!" Furo responded joyfully." This is Mareick," He said pointing to the Leprechaun .He then pointed to the salamander, "and this is Ander. That's Pharis," He said pointing to the Pooka, then he patted the head of the younger sylph."This is my younger brother Lloyd." Next he patted the arm of the older sylph," and this is my other brother, Lance."
"Hi everyone!" Pharis said with a wave
"Hey," Ander started, "It's great to be here., and no, we haven't been in AOL for long."
"We transferred over from a different game, and decided to try this one out."Mareick explained,"Hi by the way."
"Hi! It's great to be here!" Lloyd remarked happily. Based on his overall deemer, the others could assume he was a pleasant and happy-go-lucky person to be around. His brother, however, was a bit harder to read.
"Hello," He said simply. He then proceeded to observe everyone present. Each glance he took was less than a second, although he did look a bit longer when his eyes fell on Asuna and Kirito. Nevertheless, no one seemed to notice and he smiled afterwards."Raiding a dungeon sounds fun. We haven't gotten around to raiding one here yet, so it will be a new experience for us.."
"Cool, this raid shouldn't be too hard, just mostly monster infested." Kirito informed,``After introductions were made,he noticed something." Hey Furo, where's Ezio?"
"Hhhm? Oh, He said he had something important to take care of. Apparently he had some kind of, super secret quest he wanted to do. The five of us should still be enough through right?"
"Hell yeah!" Klein stated excitedly, "With all us goin' together, there's no dungeon in AOL that can stop us! Now, whaddya say we go kick that dungeon's ass?!"
"Alright!" The group cheered and headed out ready for the adventure that awaited them.
No two dungeons in ALO were exactly the same, and this dungeon was no exception to that trope. The dungeon in question was built out of the side of a large gray tree. The amber door was easily twenty feet tall and seemed to help convey the ambiance of a nest of some group of players took this in as they soared towards it with their wings.
"This is the place daddy" Yui remarked as Kirtio came in for a landing.
"Hhmmm," Liz remarked looking over the dungeon," well, I guess some decided most dungeons didn't have enough, "creepy" in them."
"I know right?" Ander agreed," Hopeful it looks better on the inside."
As the rest of the party, Sinon took note of each of their guests and was reminded of their newer status as they landed first with relative ease. Pharis was close behind with a little trouble, but otherwise was relatively content at tripped a bit when he went for his 's wasn't much better, Mareick was slow and erratic when in the air plus his landing was sloppy. Finally there was Lance…...
"Where's your brother,Lloyd?" Asuna asked, not seeing the sylph in question.
(Sigh)"Back there," He said as he pointed back, not looking over his shoulder. Even Mareick was a master compared to whatever Lance was doing when it came to his rapid jerking, his in-ability to fly straight, and his spiralling speeds, it was a painful scene to , Lance's torment finally came to an end when he collided face first into the to save face, Lance quickly jumped up, brushed himself off, and gave a goofy smile. If not for his monstrosity of a landing and his now scuffed clothing, it might have been possible to overlook what just happened.
"Oh, um…." Asuna blankly stated, not wanting to sound rude.
"Heh, what a landing!" Liz commented, trying not to laugh.
"I told you I was new at this," Lance said, seemingly not bothered by what just happened."I'm much better at fighting than I am flying."
"Yeah, well that was so bad it almost doesn't matter." Furo, who was increasingly embarrassed for his brother, replied.
"It's okay Lance," Silica offered trying to sound helpful."No one is good at flying here without weeks of practice. I remember it took almost a month for me to learn, and it took Liz even longer."
"Oh quiet you," Liz called out sounding exasperated.
"Everybody ready?" Agril asked. The entire party, trying to get them back on track. By now the dungeon door opened and a text box asking the party if they wished to proceed appeared.
"Right, Let's go." Kirito led, jumping into the opening. Soon the rest of the players followed after him, signaling the start of the mission.
