"Look at this one, Daisy!" Jordan said, pointing at a thin dark blue dress.

"Hmm?" Daisy turned around to see what Jordan was so excited about. "Oh that's beautiful!"

"You like it?"

"Yes, very much."

"You should try it on then," Jordan suggested.

"Okay, but you have to try on this one," Daisy said, handing a deep purple dress to Jordan.

Jordan accepted the dress. "Deal."

The two women went into separate dressing rooms to put on the dresses.

Jordan was the first to finish. She stepped out of the small dressing room and took a seat on one of the cushioned benches. Daisy emerged and spun around for Jordan to see how the dress fit.

"Daisy, you look wonderful!" Jordan exclaimed.

"Do you think so? I'm sure I don't look nearly as great as you do."

"Nonsense."

Then they changed back into the dresses they had worn into the store. When they were done, they held up the blue and purple dresses to admire them.

"Should we buy them?" Jordan asked.

"I didn't bring enough money with me," Daisy said sadly.

Jordan checked the price tags on both dresses. "I have enough for yours."

"And yours?"

"No but that's alright. I want you to have this dress."

"Jordan, I couldn't possibly ask you to buy this dress for me."

"You're not asking. I'm buying it for you," Jordan stated.

"I'll pay you back."

"No. I'm buying you the dress," Jordan insisted.

Before Daisy could protest, Jordan ran up to the cashier to pay for the blue dress.

"Will this be all?" the cashier asked.

"Yes," Jordan answered.

"220.50, please."

Jordan pulled some money out of her bag and handed it to the lady. The woman folded the dress neatly and put it in a box. Daisy and Jordan thanked the cashier and left the store.

"Thank you so much Jordan," Daisy said, grabbing Jordan's hand.

Jordan smiled at her. "Of course, Daisy."

The women held hands as the walked down the street, earning mean glances from many people on the street that they didn't deserve. The couple ignored the hate and found their way back to Jordan's house.

"Thanks again, Jordan."

"You're welcome Daisy."
