So, I decided to make another story. This takes place at the end of Iron Man 3 just so you know. And this is not a request. Just inspired and something I made up after I saw the story Playing with fire by FanficFixation. If I get enough support and reviews I'll focus on it more and try and update more but right now I got a lot of other things going on. But anyway I hope you like it!

"... Who's the hot mess now?" Pepper asked as she looked around at the fire around her

"Still debatable." Tony replied and then Pepper started to cry

"Oh. Come here." Tony said as he walked over to her and hugged her

"We're okay. We're okay." Tony assured Pepper as he held her close to his chest and then Pepper jumped back

"What?" Tony asked

"Did I burn you?"

"No no. You didn't." Tony said

"I'm not hot anymore." Pepper stated as she looked up at him

"No. You're not." Tony stated

"Oh." Pepper said

"Yeah." Tony said

"Okay." Tony said "Listen Pep I'm sorry."

"I'm sorry for everything okay. No more suits. All my time from now on will be spent with you okay? Deal?" Tony said and Pepper smiled and laid her head on his chest

"Deal." Pepper responded and then they hugged again

"Okay." Tony said after a few moments as they pulled apart and as he looked around until he spotted his earpiece on the ground, and then he ran over to it and put it back into his ear

"Hey Jarvis." Tony said to Jarvis through the earpiece as he tapped on it "Hey."

"Yes sir." Jarvis replied

"Can you go ahead and activate the clean state protocol for me." Tony asked

"Of course sir. But before, there seems to be another heat signature just to your right under the wreckage." Jarvis stated

"What?!" Tony said, him and Pepper turning to their right

"Yes. But I am getting unusual readings from it. And it seems different from all the other signatures" Jarvis stated

"Okay. Get me a suit." Tony demanded

"Pepper stay here." Tony said as he slowly started to walk towards were the heat signature was

"Sir. The Extremis virus levels are very high but what is strange is that there are also some readings of gam-"

"Quiet Jarvis. Just get me a suit." Tony demanded and a suit came flying towards him and then latched onto his body

"Show yourself!" Tony yelled as he pointed his blasters into the darkness of the wreckage

"Tony?" Pepper asked as she took a step towards him

"Don't move Pepper!" Tony shouted as he saw movement in the darkness "Hey!"

Tony saw an outline of a person, slightly glowing orange, who was writhing on the ground

"Hey!" Tony shouted and blasted near them which made them jump back into the light, making Tony gasp

"Bruce?" Tony gasped as he looked into Bruce's wide eyes which had a mixture of green and orange in them
