Chapter one
"Settle down!" Byleth yelled as she witnessed Lorenz throw another paper ball at Claude. Claude hid a laugh and looked back at his book. Raphael closed his book and put his hand up.
"Yes?" Byleth asked as she turned toward the student.
"When is lunch?" Raphael asked. Byleth facepalmed.
"Class is over when the bell rings." She stated firmly.
The bell rang seconds later and the golden deer students left the room.
The students were in the cafeteria, and Claude was making a plan for a prank. Hilda, Claude and Rapheal were in a 'huddle' discussing the plan.
"Okay," Hilda whispered as she swallowed the bite of her sandwich. "So the plan is that I steal the objective after school?"
"Yup. Then she will be late for class. And she will be a bit awkward with the 'objective' gone." Claude added with a grin.
"This is perfect!" Raphael cheered with a mouth full of half-chewed steak.
They broke the huddle and continued eating lunch, not saying another word of the plan.
"Okay class," Byleth said at the start of their next class. "Today we will be learning about how to take care of your weapons. I have a cloth with a bottle of cleaner at your desks. Don't use them unless I say so."
Cluade sniggered and slowly inched his hand toward the bottle.
"Claude!" The blue-haired teacher snapped. "You might be laughing now, but if you don't pay attention, your bow will be more filthy than your boots."
Byleth pushed her long blue hair behind her eyes before she picked up a metal sword.
"As you all can see, this sword is dirty." She started.
Claude was trying to listen, but whenever he met her gaze he blushed and got lost in thought.
Why does my teacher have to be so cute? Claude thought to himself as he watched the teacher turn around to write something on the chalkboard.
"Psst! Claude!" Hilda whispered into the teens ear. "Snap out of it!"
He looked at his classmate, nodded his thanks, and turned back to the lesson.
The rest of the day went well, and soon the final bell rang.
Soon Claude and Hilda were outside Byleth's room, going over their plan for one last time.
"Go!" Claude urged as Byleth left her room, leaving it empty.
He pushed the window open and Hilda crawled in.
She opened a few drawers and soon, she was brandishing Byleths belt.
"Got it!"
"Lets go!" Claude said as he bolted toward the stable.
The next day…
Claude and Hilda were at their desks, sniggering like children. Soon the bell rang, and Byleth walked into the room, her face showing her anger. One of her hands was holding up her shorts, and the other was holding up a training sword.
"Okay, who did this!?" She yelled as the students focused their glare on the teacher. They all looked confused, but that only enraged Byleth more.
She turned toward the white board to hide her anger, but then her hand stopped holding up her shorts. They fell down, but luckily she had fast reflexes. She grabbed the article of clothing before it got bad. She sat down at her desk to prevent any more accidents, and she taught class from there.
"Um, professor," Sekleth said as he entered the classroom. "May I speak to you outside?"
Byleth nodded and went to get up. She used one of her hands to hold up her shorts from the front and one to hold them from the back. As she stumbled outside, she noticed Seleth was waiting with her father.
"I am very disappointed in you." Jeralt said as he crossed his arms. "You choose not to wear your belt in a class you are teaching, and yet you seem to regret your decision."
"I didn't lose it!" Bylethj yelled, waving one of her hands toward the classroom. "I saw Hilda go into my room after class yesterday!"
"Yet you didn't recover your belt…" Seleths voice trailed off.
"I don't know where she put it!" She yelled back. "If I knew, I wouldn't have to hold my dang shorts up all day!"
"Your answer makes sense, but Claude seems to be laughing at your clothing mishap."
Byleth, to her utmost anger, looked inside and saw Claude laughing his head off.
She stomped inside the classroom and looked at the male archer. His eyes filled with fear as he realised he and Hilda had been found out.
"Claude, come with me." She said firmly. The teen got up and pointed at Hilda.
"You helped me do it." He said, trying to rope her into the punishment.
"You bribed me!" She yelled back, holding up a container of pastries. "You know I like sweets, and you also knew you couldn't fit in the professors window!"
Claude held his hands up in defeat. "Ok fine, you got me."
"How will you punish him?" Seleth asked from the doorway.
Byleth gave Claude an innocent smile and simply said, "I'll think of one."
Seleth nodded and left, leaving Byleth and her students in the room.
"Now little archer, why don't you teach the rest of the lecture?" The teacher said to the young archer. "After all, you seem to know how to talk to people."
She pushed the boy forward and gave him a sheet of paper filled with words.
"You have 4 hours to teach everything on this paper, you should get started now."
Claude turned around nervously. 'You sure?" He asked.
"Yup."
Claude gulped and turned toward the class.
This is gonna be a long class… Claude thought to himself miserably.
It was the end of the class, and Claude was exhausted. He had been drawing on a chalkboard while answering questions and reading off a paper for the last 4 hours. He wanted to do something else, like doodle on a paper, but he had to teach.
Class was over and Claude was exhausted.
"I can't read another word without my head hurting!" Claude exclaimed to Hilda as they ate. Marianne was sitting across from Claude and she just looked up from her meal.
"Imagine feeling that whenever somebody looks at you." She said as she scratched the dark bags under her eyes. "I hate my life."
Hilda reached over and patted her on the back.
"You should really visit somebody to help you."
Claude sat down, trying to block out the conversation.
"Hey Claude," Byleth said as she sat down beside Marianne. "Thanks for teaching during the class today."
"Um, you're welcome."
"You might as well get yourself ready for tomorrow as well."
"Why tomorrow?" Claude asked, his fear sinking.
"That's when you're teaching again."
Claude groaned and resumed eating.
And that's the end of this chapter! I hope you all enjoyed it.
