I watched as Apple signed her destiny, lightning flashed as I approached the book. Looks like it is mine turn to pledge my destiny. Giles said that my story would continue on if I don't sign but I don't want to disappear.

"I am Raven Queen, daughter of the Evil Queen, and I pledge...uh...I pledge..." I hesitated as my key magically appeared. I took the key, looked down at Maddie who gave me a big smile, and then placed the key in the book. The book turned red, this time with a raven feather in the middle before it opened. Instead of a Apple like when Apple signed the storybook of legends

The pictures began to show me poisoning Apple with the poisoned apple. The next picture made my heart sink as I saw an angry mob chasing me. The next has me being arrested on Apple's orders. Finally, it was a picture of me as a homeless bag lady digging through trash.

The mirror appeared in a flash, showing me in my mother's regalia, but bound in magical chains and clearly in pain.

I felt my heart sink as horror filled me. This was what I had to look forward to? This was going to be my destiny? Imprisoned, poor, and miserable? All so Apple could live as a spellebrity and queen?!

I almost lost control of my magic, but then the book did something I thought wasn't possible. The mirror did not turn into a quill for me to sign with, but it instead dove back into the book and the pages began to turn again. That means I have a second destiny, wait I thought that was impossible.

"What?" I gasped as murmurs spread over the crowd as they too noticed the book showing more images.

"What on earth?" Headmaster Grimm gasped.

The image showed me holding a purple book with a black feather on the cover while signing the book. Then it showed me transforming into a knight wearing purple and black armor. The next image showed me in the suit of amour, standing by six other knights in Wonderland. Then it showed a red knight taking my hand and kneeling before me while my magic flared up. The next image showed me without my helmet I was kissing someone. Then the next image showed It then showed me riding on Nevermore with ten other knights flying on dragons by my side while we flew through the countryside. The final picture showed me standing in front of a group of knights with different colored armor.

The mirror appeared again, only this time I didn't have any of the spider web motifs of my mother's clothing. Instead my hair flowed free and shone with a silver crown inlaid with red stones. This time showing me as a regal queen wearing a ceremonial suit of armor, silver and light purple. Next to me was a figure in a suit of royal armor, crimson and gold, holding my hand as we stood as king and queen. Behind them, a banner showing a raven carrying a bright red apple. On either side of a shield and crown was raised above them in a throne room. Most important of all, the older me clearly looked happy.

I gasped in shock at the different destiny. I am meant to become a power knight! More gasps and cries of shock came from the audience as they too saw the altered fate. The Rebels were excited and the Royals were shocked. I could only stare for a moment before I blinked while the mirror turned into a purple quill.

"Where do I sign for that?" I asked, eagerly.

"No! Raven, you must sign your true destiny!" Headmaster Grimm yelled as he got to his feet. "Not this drivel!" He stomped up to the book and took the quill from me before I could sign, earning gasps of shock from everyone. Isn't he always talking about following our destiny? Now he doesn't want me to follow the destiny the storybook of legends showed me.

"Why not? It's what the book showed me," I argued. "I will sign to follow my destiny. The book showed me two so I get to choose which destiny to follow!"

"Your destiny is to be the villain in Apple's story!" Headmaster snapped back. "You're not meant to be some knight!"

"Um…" Apple began to say. She looked at me, I looked at her and smiled at her sadly. I love Apple, however she will never have feelings for me. My eyes hardened with resolve as I made my decision. If I can't be with the one I love then my second destiny will be the one that I follow.

"If you won't let me sign, then I'll make it happen myself! I, Raven Queen am going to write my own destiny to become a power knight! My Happily Ever After starts now!" I slammed the book shut. The echo from the book caused the viewing mirrors to break, spilling glass to the floor, but everyone was too shocked or too busy cheering to care.

"I knew you could do it my dark queen," I heard a voice so similar to Apple's whisper. I feel so much lighter now, Wait! I'm still here Headmaster Grimm has been lying this entire time.

"I'm still here! I didn't disappear!" I continued, looking at my hands then turning to face Headmaster Grimm with a hardened glare. "The book showed me the way so I'm going to get my Happily Ever After!"

"No, you must sign your true destiny!" Headmaster Grimm Insisted. "You must've done something! Enchanted the book to show those lies!"

"Headmaster Grimm, are you trying to deny Raven the destiny the book showed her?" Apple asked as She approached to stand beside me. Wait Apple isn't upset that I don't want to be her villain. Maybe she does have feelings for me, this hexcellent!

" , Ms. Queen is meant to be your storybook nemesis, not some knight. Surely you can understand my concern about her not being your nemesis." Headmaster Grimm commented.

"However you don't know the importance of Raven's second destiny. I understand that following our destinies is important, however raven isn't meant to be this chapter's Evil queen. She is meant to be a power knight, and create a whole new team to protect Ever After from villains such as her mother." Apple remarked, coldly. Wait I thought power knights were a legend! How does Apple know so much about them?
