The coffee shop was relatively slow for a Saturday morning. Although, the street had only recently been cleared after the recent snow storm. The mostly purple furred male squirrel, leaned one of his arms back behind his chair as he looked around at the few female patrons around him. He sipped at the over priced coffee in his slick, also overpriced, travel thermos until his head darted towards the entrance door. The sound of a bell jingled altering everyone a new customer was entering the building although no one but the employees and Static seemed to notice.

Static ran his fingers nervously through the longer fur on his head as he sat his thermos down and cocked his head slightly. He was pleasantly surprised at the beautiful squirrel female that made her way to the order counter. Her fur was mostly brown with some tan covering her lower face and seemingly also on her chest, he noted as she leaned overthe counter to get a better look at the menu exposing just a hint of her body right below her neck.

And her tail… Static bit at his bottom lip as he took in how full, and fluffy the fur on her tail was. How she slightly moved it while she was lost in conversation with the cashier. He managed to barely make out her voice, and had to pinch himself to fight off an erection after hearing her southern drawl. "What a smile." He mumbled to himself as he stood up and stood next to her after she made her way to the pickup counter. The woman looked at him in acknowledgement and smiled before turning her attention back to coffee shop employees making her drink.

Static tapped his fingers on the counter for a moment as he continued to smile at her as he stood only a few feet to her left.

"I haven't seen you in here before." Static spoke loudly so he could be heard over the coffee that was being ground behind the counter.

She looked at him still smiling. "Likely 'cause this is mah first time in here."

"You'll definitely be happy with your drink. This place is best in town." The male winked.

"I'm hoping so considering how much they charge." She let out a small laugh causing him to almost die inside.

"Oh my God, she is so cute!" He screaming inside his head as he kept looking at her with his cocky smile. He more than noticed his heart rate pick up but he wasn't about to show his hand to her so early in the game. "You been in town long?" He asked getting a questioning look from her in response, but her face quickly went soft again before she reclaimed her smile.

"Nah. I came ta town fer a job, and now I'm sticking around fer another one."

"Really? Sounds like you likely haven't had time to see the sights." Static took a step closer to her and then leaned casually against the counter.

"I haven't."

"Sandy! Have a great day!" The girl behind the counter called as she sat two drink in front of her.

"Thank ya! You too, hun!" Sandy smiled at the coffee shop employee as she grabbed at the two drinks on the counter.

"Two drinks?" He thought to himself. "Well…" He started as he noticed her getting ready to leave. "How about I show you around when you find some free time." Static desperately grabbed for his wallet and pulled it out. He quickly fished out one of his business cards and handed it to her.

Sandy set down the drinks in her hands and accepted his card before looking over it. "Électro Construction." She read aloud. "Well… uh… Static." She looked down at the card again likely to make sure she read his name right. "It's nice ta meet ya, and maybe I'll find some time ta talk again before I leave town." The smile she gave him seemed sincere.

"I look forward to hearing from you, Sandy." He kept grinning at her until a large mainly black furred male walked up behind her and picked up her drinks.

"Is everything alright?" His gravelly voice questioned looked coldly into Static's eyes.

"Yeah." Sandy turned her head to look at the tall spiky headed hedgehog behind her. "Sorry ta keep ya waiting. Just got caught up mingling with a local." Sandy laughed and then looked back at Static. "Was nice chatting, Static." She tucked his card away in her pocket before turning and heading towards to door. The man that accompany here staired Static down, as he staired back, a few moments longer before turning to join her outside.

At first Static wondered if that was her boyfriend, but then recalled she said she was just in town for a job, so that likely wasn't the case. However, if that was her love interest, he was more that willing to help her detach from such a loathsome character and find true happiness with a real man. An amazing man. Him.
