AHOY TATERS THIS IS ANOTHER STORY WRITTEN BY A FRIEND OF MINE, IM POSTING IT ON MY ACCOUNT AT HIS REQUEST.

THIS IS AN AU WHERE IZUKU HAS A QUIRK! A VERY DARK AND POWERFUL QUIRK! NOW JUST SO YOU KNOW THIS WILL BE AN IZUKU X HAREM STORY AND THE HAREM WILL BE COMPOSED OF YANDERES!

NOW ONTO THE STORY!

Being Quirkless was the worst.

Izuku Midoriya had always wanted just one thing: to be a hero. His personal idol, All Might, was everything a person in a society of super-powered humans could aspire to: Brave, strong, and endlessly optimistic.

Izuku couldn't possibly be more different: Cowardly, both physically weak and without a manifested Quirk, and plagued by self-doubt. Even so, most of those were things he could work on. What he couldn't control were the bullies.

Most grade schoolers had to deal with bullies sometimes, but Izuku was especially targeted. His total lack of a quirk meant that he had practically no way to defend himself. There were plenty of kids who tormented him, but none of them were as bad as Katsuki Bakugo. He had a powerful Quirk that let him create explosions. He was still a kid, so it wasn't very developed yet, but the sheer difference in abilities meant that Izuku had absolutely no chance against him.

Today had been worse than usual. Bakugo had been bullying someone else for a change, and though it would have been so easy to just appreciate the brief respite, Izuku tried to defend him. It just seemed like the thing All Might would have done. Of course, Bakugo and his cronies had used the moment as an excuse to be extra harsh, beating him mercilessly.

The worst part was, Izuku would go out of his way to spend time with Bakugo. Bully or not, he was strong and confident, and Izuku secretly hoped some of it would rub off on him.

"Izuku, are you alright?"

Izuku was roused from his thoughts. He knew who was speaking even before he turned around.

"Hi Ibara. Y-Yeah, it's not as bad as it looks."

Ibara Shiozaki was his only friend. They had only met recently, but had already become very close. She was a kind girl, always willing to help others. She had a powerful quirk, being able to manipulate the thorny vines she had for hair, so when she was around, he didn't have to worry as much about bullies.

"Oh, Izuku. You were trying to hang around Bakugo again, weren't you? I told you to stay away from him. He's just a mean kid, I don't know why you always do this."

Izuku shook his head. "Kacchan isn't so bad. It was just because I got in between him and another kid that he… um..."

Ibara sighed and helped him to his feet. "Just listen to yourself. He's awful, and you know it. Come one, I'm taking you home."

Izuku hung his head. "I'm sorry. I just..."

"It's alright, I'm not mad at you. I just don't want to see you keep getting hurt. I wish I could teach that bully a lesson, but he always has his lackeys to back him up. Cheater."

Izuku gripped her hand. "P-Please don't say that. I don't want you to ever fight him. I don't want you to get hurt."

Ibara chuckled and squeezed his hand back. "You're so funny. Always worried about other people, but never about yourself. I don't care what anyone else says, you'll be an amazing hero one day. I don't know how, but you'll find a way."

Izuku smiled. "Thanks, I-"

"Oh, is THAT why you pretend to be a hero, Deku? 'Cause she said you could be one?"

Izuku grimaced. "K-Kacchan. I thought you went home?"

Bakugo and his two followers sneered. "We stopped to get drinks from the vending machine. I'm short on cash though, so empty your pockets."

Ibara stepped in-between them. "Haven't you done enough for one day? Look at Izuku, he's bruised all over!"

Bakugo snickered. "I'm just helping him out. If he wants to be a hero, he has to know how to take a beating, right?"

"Just go away and leave us alo- Hey!"

Ibara was cut short as she was yanked to the side. One of Bakugo's lackeys, with a quirk to make his fingers extend, had reached out and pulled her away easily.

Bakugo shoved Izuku backwards. "Didn't you hear me? Fork it over!"

Izuku patted his pockets, but he already knew they were empty. "I-I don't have anything. I already spent my allowa-"

"I don't believe you!" Bakugo growled, and shoved Izuku harder.

Izuku tumbled to the ground, scraping his arm. He felt tears well up in his eyes as he gingerly touched the would, which was just starting to bleed.

Ibara squirmed out of the boy's grip and rushed to him. "Izuku! Are you alright? You're bleeding, it looks… it… um..."

Izuku looked up. Ibara was staring at the scrape, transfixed. Her eyes were glazed over, like she was deep in thought.

"U-Um… Ibara? Are you okay?"

Ibara nodded slowly. "Yeah… I just… it's like something's calling me. Let me just..."

Without warning, she knelt down and licked at Izuku's scrape, swallowing some of his blood.

"Ow! Ibara, what are you doing? Why did… wait, are you alright? What's wrong?"

Ibara was breathing heavily, doubled over and sweating profusely.

"Izuku… Izuku… Y-You're… You're my… Izuku. You're mine!" She turned suddenly to Bakugo and his friends. "You hurt him! You hurt my Izuku! I'll kill you!"

Bakugo stepped back, his expression disgusted. "Ugh, what, do you have a crush on him for something? Gross. Hey guys, take care of her. I'm not done with Deku yet."

His underlings leapt into action, one extending his fingers out to grab her while the other took to the skies on his batlike wings.

Ibara didn't take so much as a step backwards. Her thorny, vine-like hair grew rapidly and ensnared the both of them before anyone could react.

"Wha- Ouch! Let go, your stupid hair is poking me!" One of them protested.

Ibara didn't say anything. Her hair curled around his fingers, squeezing tighter than before.

"Ow ow ow! Stop it, what are you doing?"

The other one shivered a bit. "S-She couldn't do this before, right? I thought her hair grew pretty slow. The grown-ups said she'd have to wait until she was older to get better. What's happening?"

Ibara still didn't respond. The grip of her vines grew tighter around the first boy's fingers.

"Ow! P-Please, stop! I'm sorry! B-Besides, it was Bakugo who-"

Ibara tightened her grip again, and everyone heard an audible crunch.

"Gyaaaah! Stoooop!" he cried, tears in his eyes. "I-I think they're broken, stooooop!"

She tossed him to the ground and turned her attention to the other one. Her vines wrapped around his wings.

"W-Wait… Hang on. I… Please, I'll do anything, just don't!"

There was another crunch, and he was dropped next to the other boy. They both cried and shrieked in pain, cradling their broken appendages.

Bakugo and Izuku watched on in shocked silence. Both were completely frozen in place as Ibara turned her attention back.

"YOU." She raised all her vines at once, all of them poised to strike. Izuku had never noticed, but the ends were dangerously sharp. Or had they been blunt before?

Bakugo gritted his teeth. "I'm not scared of you! Bring it on!" He raised his hands, ready to use his Quirk to defend himself.

He grunted when the first vine stabbed his shoulder. He put a hand to it, but his explosions were only about as strong as a firecracker, and did absolutely nothing helpful.

Unable to do anything to defend himself, he was stabbed over and over by vines. Izuku watched the scene in horror, paralyzed with confusion and fear.

"I-Ibara… stop. Stop. Stop it! Stooooop!"

Ibara didn't look his way, but he could see an eerie grin on her face. "I can't stop, Izuku. I'm doing this for you. It's all for you!"

Izuku felt like he was going to vomit. "B-But, I don't want you to! Please, don't hurt him anymore!"

Ibara's smile got wider. "Don't worry, Izuku. After he's gone, we can-"

She was cut off as her vines were cut clean in half. An adult man, with a sharp-edged, sword-like arm, hacked through her hair in a single swing. From his costume, it was obvious he was a pro hero.

Meanwhile, a woman, also clearly a hero, rushed over to young Bakugo. She grabbed her own cheek and pulled a piece off as though it were taffy, and started pressing the resulting blobs over his wounds. She looked up, a concerned expression on her face.

"This is awful… This kid's in bad shape. I can heal him, but we need to make sure he doesn't lose any more blood than he already has."

The other hero nodded. "I'll figure out how to incapacitate her without hurting her." He glanced over at Izuku. "Hey, are you alright, kid? Did she hurt you, too? Don't worry, we'll get you away from here as soon as we can."

Ibara shrieked with fury. "Shut up! You won't take him away from me. If you get in the way, I'll kill you too!"

She lashed out with her vines, growing them back as fast as the hero could cut them. Her attacks were wild and uncoordinated, but fast and powerful. At the moment, she was on even footing with the adult.

"Gh! It's all I can do to keep from getting hit! Take the kids away from here and send reinforcements. I don't know how she's so strong, or why she's so violent, but we have to handle this carefully."

Ibara stomped her feet angrily. "I said you won't take him away! I won't let you!"

She halted her attack, and instead thrusted her vines directly into the ground, right through the pavement. Izuku gulped as he noticed a rumbling sensation below his feet. The male hero looked around cautiously, ready to react to an attack from below.

"What's she trying to-"

The pavement practically exploded as what looked like an enormous, thorned tree brust up through it, directly below the hero. Vines immediately started growing from it, lashing around violently. It was utter, deadly chaos.

Izuku couldn't take it anymore. Seeing his dear friend attacking people with such malice broke his heart. He started running, not even knowing where or why. He ran until he couldn't anymore, and then huddled down and bawled. He couldn't even comprehend what was happening, or how.

"Izuku? Izukuuuu… Where are you? Come on, stop hiding! I can tell you're nearby."

Izuku froze. Ibara. He looked around for somewhere to hide, but he was out in the open.

"There you are, silly! I got so busy taking care of those heroes that wanted to take you away that I didn't notice you left. I was just in the middle of beating one of them with the leg I tore off the other."

"Y-You… You did… Ugh!"

Izuku vomited right on the pavement. He was shaking all over, trying to reconcile his memories of sweet, kind Ibara with the blood-smeared girl in front of him.

"Oh dear! Are you feeling sick? Well don't worry, I'll take such wonderful care of you! Let me take you home and I'll-"

Ibara froze, and her hair fell limp. Izuku saw a goggled figure a short distance away. The man tossed out what looked like bandages and ensnared Ibara in them.

"I need to know what's going on. NOW." The man was slender, with long black hair. Izuku couldn't see his eyes well with the strange, slotted goggles he was wearing. Izuku stumbled back, terrified.

The man sighed. "Alright, I'm sorry kid, just calm down. I'm Eraser Head, a hero. I was told that this girl nearly killed three kids and two pro heroes, and that you were at the scene. I'm just trying to find out what's happening here."

Ibara struggled against the cloth straps. "Don't you… talk to… my Izuku!" Her hair flared up for a brief moment, but then fell limp again.

Izuku's attention flashed between the two. He started hyperventilating, completely unsure of what to do. Finally, his vision went dark, and he passed out.

Later…

Izuku opened his eyes slowly. He felt panicked at the back of his mind, but couldn't yet remember why.

"Izuku, darling! Finally you're awake!"

It all came rushing back. Izuku scrambled into an upright position and looked around. He was in a jail cell, shared by Ibara. She had some sort of steel helmet fastened to her, holding in her hair.

"Oh, I was just so worried! I wanted to take you away when you fainted, but that dumb hero was blocking my quirk. He told me I could stay with you if I wore this helmet they brought, so I agreed… for now."

Izuku heard footsteps, and a police officer approached the cell.

"Oh good, you're awake! I apologize for the cell. You're not in any trouble, but she got violent if we tried to separate you. She seems to be concerned for you, so we put you in with her and kept a close watch."

Izuku snivelled. "I… what's happening? Why is she like this?"

Ibara laughed. "Because of you, silly!" She started leaning in close. "We're connected now. You made me your woman, and now I'm gonna love and protect you for ever and ever and EVER!"

Izuku shook his head. "Ibara, please. Stop talking like that. Just… STOP IT!"

There was a flash of green, and Ibara was pushed back. Izuku panicked at first when he saw more vines, but as he looked closer, he could trace them back to his own head.

The officer gulped. "Oh… I guess that's another part of your quirk. It's pretty, ah… potent."

Izuku relaxed a bit, and the vines retreated into his hair. He patted his head, and couldn't feel them anymore. "M-My quirk? But… I'm quirkless."

The officer sighed. "As far as we can tell, that's not true. We brought in a quirk expert to help us figure out what happened. Based on our interview with her, we think that you have a quirk that's responsible."

The officer grimaced. "Ah, sorry about that. I didn't mean to say that it's your fault. I'm sure you didn't mean any harm. Sometimes when a child's quirk is manifested, accidents happen. Not usually on THIS scale, but..."

He shook his head. "Anyway, it sounds like it happened when she ingested some of your blood. It upgraded her quirk to make her much, much more powerful. And as a side effect, she became very devoted to your wellbeing. Very, very devoted. And it looks like you also gained her quirk."

Ibara sighed. "He's making it sounds so scientific, so.. Stuffy. It's so much more than that, Izuku! I felt drawn to your blood, like I was destined to become your protector! It was almost… a religious experience!"

The officer cleared his throat. "Right… Well, we've been authorized to let you go as soon as both of your parents get here. But we're going to have to assign some heroes to watch you until we can make sure things are under control."

Ibara skipped back over to Izuku and grabbed his arm. "Don't worry, Izuku! I'll make sure they can never seperate us! I'll always be here to take care of you.

Ibara's words proved true. Ibara continued to be completely and utterly devoted to Izuku. Even an extensive lawsuit against him by her parents wasn't enough to deter her, and she grew more and more attached, leaving her old life behind to follow him absolutely everywhere.

Unfortunately, regardless of how much she claimed to want to care for him, she was nearly impossible to control. Her violent tendencies remained, and it was only with great effort that Izuku managed to restrict her to non-lethal outbursts.

And yet, despite all this, his ambition to become a hero remained. He was emboldened a bit by the fact that he did in fact have a quirk. Unfortunately, word spread quickly about him and how his power had changed Ibara. People called him a born villain - but never to his face, or else they risked Ibara lashing out at them. He had coined the name "Guardian Angel" for his quirk, but everyone else recognized it by a different name: "Yandere Creation."

Nine years later...

Izuku woke up groggily. He hadn't been able to get much sleep due to his excitement, but he forced himself to sit up anyway. Today was the big day, and he wasn't about to be late.

"Oh, good morning my lord and master! What a glorious day this is. I'm so very humbled that I'm going to witness you taking the first step to claiming your manifest destiny!"

Izuku sighed. Ever since Ibara had compared the incident nine years ago to a religious experience, she'd leaned more and more into it, to the point that she literally worshipped him. She'd even tried to convert people into believers, although thankfully she had yet to succeed.

It wasn't all bad, though. He'd managed to convince her that, as his most devoted follower, she should maintain a calm and reverent demeanor. Of course, she'd still fly off the rails quite frequently if she felt that someone was disrespecting "her glorious master", but most of the time she behaved herself.

"Would you do me the honor of allowing me to dress you, my lord? I would love nothing more than to-"

Izuku blushed and cleared his throat. Despite how long she'd been living with him, her advances still made him uncomfortable. He just couldn't get past the fact that she was essentially being brainwashed into feeling love and devotion for him.

"A-Actually, why don't you help my mom with breakfast? She said she was going to make a lot so that we'd have energy for today."

Ibara nodded eagerly. "It would be my pleasure to assist the divine mother! Please don't take too long getting ready, you know how hard it is for me to go without your glorious presence!"

Izuku ignored her and took his time bathing and getting dressed. Not so much to spite her, but because he was nervous.

He finally came out to see an impressive spread ready to eat.

"Good morning, sweetie! Oh, I'm so excited for you! Ibara and I made all your favorites, so eat up!"

Izuku's mom beamed happily at him, and he couldn't help but smile back despite his nervousness. He knew it couldn't have been easy for her, finding out that her son had such a dark, dangerous quirk, but she had never stopped supporting him. She accepted Ibara into their home, and pushed for him to follow his dream in spite of all the people who distrusted him.

Breakfast ended up being fairly quick. Izuku had trouble keeping anything down, but did his best, knowing he'd need plenty of energy. It wasn't long before he and Ibara were out the door.

The walk over, on the other hand, felt like it took forever. Izuku could barely hear Ibara praise and encourage him because he kept on imagining all sorts of things going wrong. But finally, they arrived.

U.A. High School. The best hero school in Japan, and Izuku's first step to becoming a pro hero. It was finally time to take the entrance exam, after all his waiting.

He walked through the front gate, split between taking in the beautiful landscaping and architecture and panicking about the upcoming exam.

"Hey, out of my way, you- Oh."

Izuku turned to see Bakugo scowling at him. Things with him had gotten… complicated, ever since the incident where Ibara was given power by Izuku's quirk. Bakugo clearly hated Izuku and Ibara with a burning passion ever since, but seemed to constantly be torn between his anger and a healthy apprehension in Ibara's presence.

"I… You… Just… Move."

Ibara tensed, and her viney hair rippled. "Watch yourself, devil. I'll never forget how you treated my glorious master when we were young. I will not tolerate a single hostile word towards him."

Bakugo gritted his teeth and kept walking. "Damn villains. Why are they even here?" He muttered to himself.

Izuku didn't even have to look at Ibara to know she was already making a move towards Bakugo. He quickly grabbed her by the shoulder. "Ibara! Don't. If we start something, we probably won't get to take the entrance exam. At least for today, please..."

Ibara looked completely torn, but finally settled down a bit. "V-Very well, my lord. His judgement will be deferred until another day."

Izuku sighed with relief. If he could just keep her under control today, he was sure that he could manage the exam. He started walking towards the main building, but thanks to his distraction almost immediately tripped. He braced himself to hit the ground, but never hit the ground.

He sighed with relief. "That was close. Thanks, Ibar… wait."

He realized that he didn't feel the familiar vines around his body. In fact, it felt like there wasn't anything holding him up at all.

He looked to the side and saw a brown-haired girl smiling at him. She wasn't touching him, and a quick check confirmed that he was somehow floating in midair.

"Ah, it's my quirk. Sorry I didn't ask you for permission first. I just couldn't let you fall, though." She touched her fingertips together, and he dropped softly onto the ground.

They both looked over at Ibara, who was looking very confused, her vines frozen halfway between them.

"Oh, it looks like you were about to save him, too. I guess I got to him first, but that's impressive!" She beamed at them both. "Well, I guess I'll see you both inside, right? Good luck, I hope we all get in!"

Izuku watched her walk away, transfixed. After spending so much time with Ibara, he had imagined that most other girls were sort of similar to her. She didn't usually let other girls get close to him, so he didn't have much experience with them.

The girl had just treated him so… normally. She was obviously kind and friendly, but she didn't make a big deal over him like Ibara always did. It felt so… liberating!

Izuku felt a shudder up his spine and looked over to see Ibara fuming.

"My master… you seem to be staring at that girl. I almost don't dare to ask, but you wouldn't happen to like her more than me, would you? Surely you would never choose some random, ordinary girl over your most devoted worshipper, would you?"

Izuku gulped. She was clearly angry, and that was never good.

"Oh, no no no! I was just… um… evaluating whether she's a threat! You know, she's competition. Nothing to worry about, not at all."

Ibara's expression changed immediately. "Oh, of course! How astute. Please forgive me, I would never have questioned your faithfulness."

Izuku sighed with relief. "Right. Anyway, let's go in. I don't want to be late."

Izuku turned back towards the main building, Ibara right by his side. He was already off to a rough start, but this was it! He wasn't going to let anything get in his way now. He and Ibara strode inside, ready for whatever awaited them.
