"Twoleg Paste!"

Thorn's hind paws flailed around behind him as he struggled to climb out of the food bin, the last bit of a fish dangling from his mouth as he struggled to heave himself out. The scents of the cats approaching his position slightly faint to the wet smell of the disgusting bin, as Thorn began to panic and his breathing rose before his hind paw slipped and he ended up falling face first into the collection of foul things inside. He stood up as the lid slammed close and his surroundings became dim.

"Come out here loner, that stash is ours!"

The "floor" under Thorn's paws squished and squashed as he paced back and forth, his tail flicking behind him as his mind twisted and turned trying to figure out his way out. The leader of the gang's burning amber eyes glared through the cracks as Thorn jumped slightly, the tom's paws squeezing through the gap and swatting at him with unsheathed claws. Thorn jumped back as he narrowly avoided another scar across the muzzle, as the leader tried to lift up the lid to get inside.

Thorn pressed back on his haunches as he prepared to launch, the bin covering popping up before slamming back down with a crash. As he watched the leader through the gap, he began to panic as he heard the snarls of the rest of the other tom's cats outside his safe zone. "You cannot stay in there only, your hunger will only wear you down… come out here now and we may give you a fair death." The large black tom snarled.

'Not much better either way now is it?' Thorn swished his tail as the leader of the gang once again tried to lift up the lid. More successfully this time, the tom's hideously deformed face coming into view. As the cat was nearly through, Thorn wriggled his haunches. Spending only a split second in midair, thorn launched himself out of the food bin; smacking the gang's leader in the face as he soared straight to the ground below him.

Cats cleared out of the way for a second before attempting to claw him, the nimble pale tabby managed to jump out of the way and onto the nearby ledge before dropping back down onto the concrete below. He ran as fast as he could as the gang behind him burst around the corner; their clearly now pissed beyond belief chief leading the group with fury burning in his gaze. Thorn's claws leaving low marks on the tough floor as he pounced up on top of a nearby fence.

The pale tabby heaved a couple of breaths before the large black tom arrived on the same fence, leaning slightly to keep his balance before he stepped towards Thorn with a menacingly hostile gaze. "You have very little to run, give it up now!" he snarled as his large paws slipped slightly to the side, the fence leaning further as the rest of the tom's gang arrived behind him; shifting their weight to move ever so closer to the pale tabby.

Thorn looked over his shoulder before leaping to the next stone wall, scrambling to regain his balance as he raced as fast as he could. Dropping into the next lush garden to wriggle under the mesh wall surrounding it with a dog hot on his tail, as he emerged on the other side the dog could be seen trying to get him before turning towards the gang that halted on the edge; with a smirk Thorn waved to them a goodbye with his tail before charging straight down alongside the thunder path.

As he slowed down he caught his breath under the ledge of one of the windows into the den, as he breathed in and out he perked up as a silky ginger tail tickled his ear tips. The she-cat's coo making him look up into the soft green eyes, as the she-cat leaned down with a bemused look on her face. "Getting into awfully a lot of trouble aren't we?"

"Well it's only the start of the day, who knows what will happen next." Thorn answered as he flicked an ear, turning his head as the gang emerges from the alley down behind him. The ginger she-cat followed his gaze as she grumbled under her breath; Thorn jumped up onto the ledge and sat down beside her; the cats searching around the area behind him.

"Where's your little friend?"

"Uhm… he's late." Thorn answered.

The ginger she-cat covered her mouth with one of her paws, a glint of humor sparking in her green eyes. Thorn smiled as he watched the gang rogues search the next door den for any sign of him.

"Sure do like to hunt their enemies down to their grave don't they, no rest for their followers."

"Darkness is just a fool; you can come in here and take shelter." The she-cat murmured as she flicked her tail towards the cat flap not too far away. "They will not dare to enter the den as they all fear the twolegs, come on you will be fine with me and you can lay low a whole lot better that way.

Thorn shook his head as he backed up. "No… thanks Sal, but I'll think my way out of this." he meowed as he took a step back, the rogues looking in his direction. "You however should probably head inside, who knows what they'll try. I do hope that we will see each other again."

"Likewise, look after yourself for me will you?"

Thorn nodded in response to the she-cat's request; before he dropped back down to take off towards the opposite way of the gang.

The ginger she-cat watched him leave as he leaped up onto another fence, and onto the low hanging branch of a tree in the garden. Looking back the gang were trying to scramble after him, not hesitating for a moment more he climbed up higher on the tree, one of the branches leaning as he crept towards the roof of the twoleg den. Skidding down on the rough tiles that now made the roof, as his claws left long marks on the surface as he climbed up towards the peak; as the gang clambered up the tree not too far behind him with rage and hunger burning in their eyes.

As thorn reached the top, he halted as he saw the drop straight down. Looking back at the rogues climbing after him with claws unsheathed. As he turned to take off the leader poked his head over the lip of the roof, his amber eyes burning hot as he pushed Thorn back. The pale tabby arrived at the opposite end with his back to the thunder path behind him. "H-hey now, no need to get so drastic." He meowed as he looked over his shoulder.

"Nowhere left to run this time, you are going to pay with your blood!" the tom growled as he raised himself onto his paws to strike, thorn prepared for the pain before he noticed a ledge large enough for one to stand. In one desperate attempt he jumped off the edge, and fell straight towards it with his paws outstretched.

He barely missed however, as he scrambled to heave himself upwards. Before his grip failed and he fell onto the concrete floor with a hard yowl, before he lay there heaving breaths in and out before looking back up as the rogues looked over the edge before falling back. As he regained himself he knew he only had a few moments to spare, but the wind was knocked out of him and he stumbled forward.

The loner hid around a bin as he listened to the cats searching for him, before they took off back towards their own territory. Thorn relaxed as he released a sigh of relief as he poked his head around the corner; the coast was clear as he regained his strength to begin moving again. As he turned his head to watch the rogues return to their own territory, as he padded out of the shadows he jumped as a dark brown tabby dropped down to his side.
