A/N: Hi all! Thank you so much for your continued support: it's been a joy to receive notifications while on hiatus. I'm excited to get back to Optimus and Kate's story, which I hope to complete over the summer. This third installment, "All for You," will be different than the previous ones. Most notably and for varying reasons: this will be the conclusion to Optimus and Kate's story.

I hope it's everything you wish for. Thank you, again, for your love; it humbles and inspires me, every day.

Disclaimer: I don't own Transformers, just Kate.

Optimus was dead.

There was no way around it: his immobile corpse, covered ceremoniously by a ratty tarp, laying on stacked pallets. Kate's shaking hand clutched around one of his fingers. Tears made fresh trails down her dirt-plastered face. Her brown hair had been singed at the ends. The pants of her uniform ripped. Another scuffle between Autobots and Decepticons, this time to save one of her best friends, Sam Witwicky, from being captured and brutally interrogated by Megatron. Yeah. Somehow, the evil leader had returned and taken the love of her life with him.

Optimus, my love.

She should be taking action. Helping Lennox throw Galloway out of the plane—which, judging by the commotion and the change in air pressure, was happening right now. Maybe she could be with Epps, planning the placement of the troops once they landed in who-knows-where Egypt. Or she could be multitasking: using her telepathy to track enemy movement. Heck, she could even say a prayer that Sam's crazy idea to resurrect Optimus would even work.

In this moment, however, it was all she could do to hold on to what she could touch. Please wake up.

If this didn't work, what would she do without him? One of the top NEST agents, with special privileges due to her ability—she could continue on in the military. Right? She could find a new unit to work out of, maybe even get a desk job someplace out of the field. She could work to care for the remaining Autobots, use her telepathy for good. That's what Optimus would want her to do. I think.

Still, she couldn't shake the allure of running. Taking her family to a remote town, maybe an abandoned shack in the mountains, or a cabin hidden deep in Nowhere, USA. Someplace no one could find: no Autobots, no Decepticons, no war, no military. She could disappear and leave all this behind.

I can't do this alone.

If she and Optimus couldn't be together, then there was no point. No point at all.
