Kisuke Uaharha was captain of squad 12 for 9 years before he was banished. This is the story that fills that gap. This is the story of how I fell in love with him, how we were torn away from each other, the betrayal, and the heartbreaking truth that no one knew.

I'm tired of there not being many Kisuke Uahara stories so I decided to write my own. Yes, I used my own name for my OC character but it's my story and I have a huge crush on him! I may have gotten some things wrong or don't explain things well so please leave constructive comets or even some ideas. I'm currently in school and I write when I can so I may noy be able to post too often. I would like to do it once a week but we will see how well this goes. This is my first story and if it does well there will be sequels! I plan to start off when Kisuke becomes captain and his life in the nine short years in his post. I will stay as close as I can to the manga and anime. I only own Tiffany and other random OC's. I'm also looking for a possible beta reader, so please contact me if interested! So please enjoy!

LIfe with Captain Kisuke Uahara

Chapter 1

"Kisuke Urahara"

Date of birth December 31st

6 ft tall 152 lb

Squad 2 Seat 3. Was head of the Detention unit a.k.a the Maggots Nest.

He grew up in the Shihoin mansion with, and are close friends with, Yoruichi Shihoin, squad Two Captain and head of the assination squad and Tessai Tsukabishi Captain of the Kido squad.

He is a master of swordsmanship, Kido, Hakuda, Shunpo, and highly intelligent.

Tiffany Meyer was rereading the file on her new captain over for the upteenth time. She stared at the photo that was attached to the file. Kiskue Uahara was a very handsome man with a strong jawline. His pale blonde hair reached his shoulders and fell in front of his face. She was captivated by his grey eyes. They seemed to stare right through her. This isn't the first time she's heard of him. Hell it's not the first time she's seen him. They only ever met in passing but never spoke. She just never realized how handsome he looked or noticed the haunting look of his eyes.

"Third seat!" came the loud scream of a lower ranked seat. Breaking the concentration of the pretty brunette. "Holy fuck! Jesus Yuki. You scared me." she said as she turned around in her seat. Her hair swaying with the swift movement. She found it slightly unnerving that a lower ranked officer was able to sneak up on her. "And stop with this third seat shit. Call me Tiffany," she responded looking back at the paperwork at her desk. She found herself drawn to the picture attached to the file and couldn't pinpoint why she was enamored by the information about this man. "Sorry Tiffany. I've been calling out to you for the last few minutes. What would you like for us to do right now? The rest of the squad is restless and with the Lieutenant away to meet the new captain we don't have any orders." "Yeah. Ok. It doesn't surprise me that Hiyori didn't give any orders, She's completely upset about Kirio leaving." She let out a huff as she stood up to leave her office to stand in front of Yuki. He was seat 14. Yuki was young with light brown hair that reached close to his shoulder. "Should we be worried that a lower rank officer could sneak up on you like that?" Yuki asked jokingly. "Ha! Maybe! I was trying to read up and get as much information about the new captain." Tiffany responded with a small laugh and smile on her face. "Well what do you think of him?" Yuki asked, looking up at her. "I'm not sure yet. He is intelligent and scarily perfect at everything. He seems like a very terrifying man." She trailed off as she glanced back at the report. She turned her attention back to Yuki and cleared her throat. He was kneeling in front of her awaiting orders. "Alright get up and round up the rest of the group. We will do some sparring exercises till the new captain and lieutenant Hiyori return." "Right away ma'am" Yuki said standing up to gather the rest of Squad Twelve.

It was a beautiful day out but it was also bittersweet. The squad was to acquire a new captain after only having their current captain promoted no less than a week ago. "Third seat Meyer. What are your orders?" Yuki asked as the entire squad lined up in rows of four infront of her. "Alright. Lieutenant Hiyori will be returning within the hour with our new captain Kiskue Uahara. Just because they are away and there isn't any threat we need to train. Split into teams and spar." "MA'AM!' came the collective response.

Tiffany watched as they all split into groups of two. Tiffany sat on the steps of the building quietly watching the sparring in front of her. She didn't have a sparring partner since Hiyori was away. She leaned back to rest on her hands behind her and glanced up at the sky and closed her chocolate brown eyes as a cool breeze brushed through on the warm sunny day. Her dark brown, almost black hair was in a braid that rested over her right shoulder almost reaching down to her wrist, swaying between her side and inner arm. She kept thinking about the pale blonde man with grey eyes that was to be the new captain. It didn't seem possible that he could be so perfect. She knew Hiyori hated that they had a new captain. Hiyori was a very emotional girl. She didn't act like it but Hiyori wore her heart on her sleeve and used anger and intimidation to shield herself from pity of others. Tiffany knew that this was gonna be a very long few weeks, maybe months of Hiyori just being a plain pain in the ass about the new captain.

The hour seemed to go by fast with the sparring . Tiffany interrupted from time to time to give pointers or to show what they did wrong or even how to get out of some situations or how to counter. She was proud that the new recruits from a couple months back seemed to be catching on quickly. As things were winding down with the sparring session Tiffany sent them all to clean up and meet in the squad meeting room once they were done.

It had been a rough last couple days. Tiffany had to pick up the slack of the departed captain. Hiyori was just too upset to deal and Tiffany wasn't about to even bother trying to get her to do her work. Tiffany wasn't as upset about Kirio leaving. She had been in squad 12 for many years now and has seen many captains and lieutenants go through. Walking back to her desk in the shared office, she smirked to herself.

Tiffany was only a third seat officer and shouldn't have a desk in the office. She did more than her fair share if not more and after a couple of weeks of back to back doing her captains and lieutenants work she had had enough. She just ripped into her higher ups about having no space and having to lug around boxes and boxes of files back and forth to the captain and lieutenants office to her room and back. Eventually her captain relented and had a third desk put in just for her. Tiffany took on more than that was asked of her. She had been a Soul Reaper for centuries now and knew better than most what was expected or how to get things done.

Walking into the vast room she walked back to her desk. Straight ahead was the captains desk. Off to the left was Hiyor's and off to the right was Tiffany's. Bookshelves lined the walls from top to bottom. There were random spots here and there that had personal items to the occupants of the room. Little statues and figurines. There were four windows going around the room that split the book shelves up. One behind Hiyori's desk, one slightly off to Tiffany's left, one by the door of the office, and a larger one behind the captain's desk. On Hiyori's side there were a couple filing systems that held information on the squad.

She sat down looking at the file of her new captain. She hoped that things worked out with Hiyori. She had known Hiyori for quite some time. She was the one that recruited her and she knew how difficult she could be. Looking through the file she read about his missions. At least the ones that weren't redacted. "I don't know why they bother even sending it," she said to herself. "We have no choice but accept him as our captain anyway. At least he's not a bad looker." Tiffany put the file in a top drawer on her left. She went through some other work that needed some attention. She wanted to get it done before the captain and Hiyori arrived.

She had been working for about twenty minutes when in the distance she could hear the sound of a wooden mallet hitting a wooden board signalling the beginning of a message from the head captain. She looked out the window knowing what was about to be announced but expecting the worst.

"Announcement. The new Captain of Squad Twelve is Kiskue Urahara. Repeating. Announcement. The new Captain of Squad Twelve is Kiskue Urahara."

Tiffany let out a huff as she ran her hand down her face and took a deep breath. Collecting her thoughts she stood up from the chair and stretched her back arching backwards and reaching above her head. She let out a yawn and turned to the door to make the trek to the meeting room. "Well here goes nothing," she said to herself as she readied for the argument and possible altercation she was likely to encounter with Hiyori if not others from the squad.

Tiffany walked down the wooden porch and down some steps to a small path that connected the divide of the buildings. The grass was lush and the plants were getting tall. The flowers bloomed with pink and yellow flowers. She made a mental note to add pruning around the grounds to the list of chores. She loved taking care of them so she would most likely delegate that to herself. She walked up the steps with her hands claps behind her back. She made it to the door and walked in. The room was abuzz and everyone was filled with excitement and nervous at the same time.

"Come on you guys. Line the fuck up. You act like you've never been called to a meeting before." Tiffany said as she placed her hands on her hips a tad annoyed that she had to remind them of basic manners. She turned to shut the door behind her. "Sorry Tiffany. We're just excited about the new captain." She heard someone respond as they began shuffling into line. She turned around to make sure they were in line. Tiffany felt a familiar and new stronger spirit pressure. "Alright they have arrived. Everyone behaves or you'll end up with triple chore duty and we all know I can be creative.' Tiffany barked out as she got in line.

No more than five minutes later the door slammed open with a 4ft blonde with high pigtails and a very pissed off look stepped inside. She was grumbling something to herself that sounded like "dumbass". Tiffany frowned a tad at Hiyori for being so disrespectful but she really didn't expect anything less. She wanted to shake her head and shield her eyes as she chastised her but held back because right behind Hiyori was a very tall pale blonde man with a nervous goofy smile on his face. Tiffany gasped. He was gorgeous. His picture didn't do him justice. She had seen him in passing and never thought twice about him before but he looked so different with his haroi on. She blushed slightly when he looked in her direction as he scanned over his new squad.

'Get yourself together' she silently scolded herself. She watched as he stepped inside and greeted everyone. Kisuke took his place next to Hiyori who seemed to be unhappy with the situation. "Hello everyone! My name is Kisuke Uahara. So yeah. It's nice to meet you. I'm your new captain. Haha!" Kiskuse said as he scratched the back of his head and laughed nervously. He looked off to his left and bent down to extend his hand to Hiyori. Tiffany could feel the tension in the room change to doubt and confusion. "He seems way too laid back to be a captain" she heard in a hushed whisper.

Tiffany snapped her attention back to the scene in front of her as she heard Hiyori hit something. SMACK! Hyori had smacked Kisuke's hand away from her. "I will not accept this! I already don't like that Captain Hikifune left us so fast, and now we get you?" Hiyori shouted. Tiffany closed her eyes, annoyed and frowned as she continued her rant, resisting the urge to step in and scolding her lieutenant.

"Come on you're from squad two! That's the stealth force. You're killers. Someone who spent his time secretly killing people isn't a suitable choice to be our captain!" Hiyori yelled at Kisuke. "Lieutenant, please! You're going too far with the captain." one of the many squad members said shocked by her behavior.

Hiyori turned to face the group. "Am I? I'm just saying out loud what I know every one of you is thinking. Well isn't that what you think? How will it be possible for us to follow orders from some nobody like him?" Hiyori barked out as she angrily pointed at Kisuke. "Well, I…" someone started. "We'll obey him," Another finished off.

Kiskue laughed nervously and rubbed the back of his head. Hiyori got extremely pissed by his reaction and grabbed him by the collar pulling him towards her. "What's so funny?" She growled out. He just looked at her with a mild shocked look. "Didn't you hear me earlier when I insulted you old squad? You had no reaction. You coward! Aren't you angry at me for that?" she screamed in his face.

Tiffany had had enough. She took a step forward to put a stop to Hiyori when she heard Kisuke start to respond. He gave Hiyori a small smile. "Not at all. After all, I'm the Captain of Squad Twelve. That's what I decided this morning when I woke up. 'Once I get out of bed, I will now belong to Squad twelve.' I consciously decided that I will only get angry if someone criticizes squad twelve." He stood up and looked over at his new squad telling them all his decision that he had made. "I think it's nice to be able to choose what upsets you and what doesn't. I believe having the will to change what we think really allows us to start over, right?" He finished with a smile and looked down at Hiyori.

Hyori was stunned for a second by his response. To cover her embarrassment she kicked the captain in the leg. Tiffany had seen and heard enough disrespect come from Hiyori. "HIYORI! THAT IS ENOUGH!" She stepped forward glaring at her luetinuate. Everyone looked over to see Tiffany walking up to Hiyori angrily. The blonde knew she needed to get out. She couldn't stand that she had a new captain and didn't want to have to deal with Tiffany on top of it.

Hiyori stomped away to the door yelling "What's that supposed to mean? You are nuts," at Kisuke as she slammed the door shut. Tiffany was fuming and went to go after her. "Um excuse me, but who are you?" Kisuke asked, looking at Tiffany confused. "My apologies captain. I'm third seat Tiffany Meyer. I am very sorry and take full responsibility for our luetinuate." Tiffany bowed in front of him. Kisuke looked at her with a wide goofy smile that caused his eyes to scrunch close as he waved his hand up and down. "Oh it's ok! She'll come around. I'm just at a loss as to what to do about, well, everything here.'

Tiffany stood up and smiled at his goofy nature. "Well captain if I may…" She trailed off looking at the left over group of squad members. Kisuke followed her gaze with a sideway glance. "Please," he replied looking back at her. "Alright that's enough for this meeting. It is about 4:30 now so I want you all to finish your chores before dinner at 6. Then at 7 you will spare for two hours and the rest of the time is yours. Tomorrow some of you will be assigned missions. That being said, yes the rest of the night is for whatever you want to do, but no stupid shit. That list will be posted outside the meeting room at 7 a.m. Now unless the captain has anything he wants to add…" Tiffany trailed off as she glanced over at Kisuke. He never took his eyes off her. She could feel him staring at her the whole time she addressed the others. He smiled and replied, "I'm good. I think you covered it." Tiffany fought the blush she felt creeping up her neck from his consent staring. "Then you are all dismissed." Tiffany told the squad.

She made her way outside to start the trek back to the office when she felt a hand grab her wrist. She stopped and looked at her hand and then up to the owner. Kisuke looked at her sheepishly and grinned while scratching the back of his head. He laughed nervously and said, "Um I don't exactly know my way around here yet and was hoping that maybe you could show me around? Since the luetinuate hates me and seems to have stormed off and nobody else seems to be warm and fuzzy about me."

There was a moment of silence, a small smile gracing her lips knowingly. Tiffany looked at him and then down at where his hand held her wrist. A slight blush came to her cheeks. "I mean if you're not busy. I don't want to impose," Kskue replied shortly. Tiffany shook her head to calm her blush and cleared her throat and looked at him. She grinned at him. "Sure captain. I would be honored to show you around." Kisuke watched her as relief flooded over him. "Great! Um if you could do me one small favor. Call me Kisuke. I'm not used to the hole captain thing yet," he said smiling brightly at her.

"Um, I'm not sure I can do that. It's disrespectful.,' Tiffany said as she looked at him shocked. Kisuke's smile faltered slightly. Tiffany felt guilty for disappointing him. 'He's probably nervous. It's the least I could do to help him transition from third seat to becoming a captain.' Tiffany thought as she had a change of heart. "Alright then….Kisuke. Shall I give you the grand tour?" Tiffany asked. Kisuke looked at her. There was a slight shift from surprise to the biggest and most relaxed smile he has had in days. "Show the way," he said happily.

"Well then um...Kisuke?" Tiffany asked as she began to become red in the face from embarrassment. "Yes? What is it?" Kisuke asked, looking confused by her behaviour. "I need you to let go of my hand. Unless you want me to hold your hand the whole time," Tiffany playfully said looking down at their hands and then off to the side. Kisuke smirked mischievously. He now understood what was happening and decided to take advantage of her embarrassment.

"Um captain?" Tiffany questioned as she tried to pull on her hand slightly. Kisuke held fast to her wrist. She looked at him confused. She let out a gasp as she was pulled close to him. Kisuke wrapped his free arm to wrap around her waist and pulled her flush to him. He let go of her wrist and used his hand to curl his knuckles together and use them to lift her chin up to look at him. Tiffany's face held a shocked expression as she looked at Kisuke. She held her arms to her side too shocked to move. She wasn't expecting this reaction. She was a head shorter to him. Just by hugging her Kissue could easily place his chin on her head.

"Well I certainly don't mind holding the hand of the future mother of my children," Kisuke spoke softly, bringing his lips to her ear, and sending shivers down her spine. "And I thought I told you to call me Kisuke. I think you need to be punished for disobeying," he rasped out into her ear huskily as he pulled her closer. His smell enveloping her. It took everything in her not to close her eyes and take a deep breath of him. He smelled of a light musk and sandalwood. It took Tiffany a couple of seconds to register what he said. She was momentarily stunned by his actions. Then he opened his mouth. She felt embarrassment bubble over to anger. He was enjoying making fun of her. She started to shake as she lifted a clenched fist. "You think this is funny, do you?" she ground out through clenched teeth as the anger started to show on her face. "Huh?' Kisuke got out before Tiffany used an open palm to push up on his chin fast and hard.

"Ow!" Kisuke howled as he held his mouth. He stumbled back a couple feet. "Well what did you expect? For me to fall over at your feet just begging to bear your children?" Tiffany said, looking down at the floor, with a bright red face. She was trying to hold herself together when she heard him respond, "Yes. Yes I did.' Tiffany was furious as she looked up about to smack him again when she saw his big goofy smile back up on his now bloody mouth. Tiffany stopped. She looked at him dumbfounded and shook her head. 'Jesus, hes so fucking cute,' she mused to herslf, fighting a small smile from forming on her face. "Come on if you sil want that tour." she whispered as she turned around trying to control the warm delicious feeling of happiness that overcame the anger and shock. Her heart still beat wildly in her chest and her wrist still tingled from his touch. The feeling of his hard and defined chest still on her mind.

Kisuke smiled to himself mentally noting that her shihakusho certainly did nothing to compliment her voluptuous figure. He smirked as he thought of how her tits hit him first and how big and soft they felt. He watched her start to walk away and wonder if her ass was just as curvy. He shifted the front of his pants, of his shihakusho and started to think of the things that could help get rid of his slowly growing hard on. 'She doesn't know it yet but she will definitely be mine,' Kisuke declared silently to himself as he started after her.
