Naruto: The Reborn

Being shot back into the past was not fun... Or even thought of until Naruto Uzumaki managed to make a seal do so. So now Naruto and Kurama, the Kyuubi, are in the time of his parents, trying to survive. And if he messes up his parent's relationship while he is at it... 1. Chapter 1

Naruto Uzumaki was known for many things in his short life. From 'Demon Brat' to 'ANBU Commander'. However, one thing that many people tend to forget about him is that he is an Uzumaki, and with that name is the ability to create seals almost as easy as breathing. That is what Naruto is doing at the moment, creating seals with the help of Kurama, the Kyuubi no Kitsune.

"What about the size 0.34 for the brush stroke after the Gebo and before the Urus?" Kurama asked, making Naruto shake his head. "No, that size would throw off the needed power for Berkana and Telwaz. How about 0.41?" At this question, Kurama looked over the seal and nodded slightly. "Yeah, you can use that if you add Hagall and Raido after Mannaz to keep the power from being blocked," Kurama said, making Naruto smile. Naruto looked back over the seal and couldn't believe that he was almost done with the seal. What the seal was supposed to do was rewind time to a certain point of time. Of course, he was asked to make this seal by Tsunade, the Godaime Hokage, because of the fact that some shinobi were coming back to the village and hiding the fact that they were shinobi of another village. So she asked Naruto to make a seal that can turn back time so that any information will not be lost because of these shinobi.

"I really don't see why the ningin don't just give codes to say when they enter the village. After this seal is made and all the kinks are fixed, what is she gonna do with it?" Kurama asked, making Naruto stop drawing the seal for a second before shrugging. "It's not really any of my business what they do with the seal after it is done and in their hands. I just do as I am told." Naruto said making Kurama snort. "What happened to the knuckle-headed kid that rarely listened to others?" "He grew up and learned that if you don't listen, you can get your comrades killed," Naruto responded, making Kurama slightly sorry for bringing up the past.

It was hard for Naruto after Sasuke left soon after the Chunin Exam. Because not only was he still not used to Tsunade being the Hokage and wishing that Hiruzen was still alive, even though the man barely did anything for the beatings, but also because Sakura quit team 7. She went on to being a full-time medic-nin, mostly because she blamed Naruto for Sasuke defecting the village and him not being able to bring him back. Kakashi, learning about both Sakura quitting team 7 and Sasuke defecting from the village, started to train Naruto almost religiously for three years. At first, Jiraiya wanted to take Naruto out of the village for a few years, but Naruto was not having it, if the month of training that the man had given him was any indication, he would more than likely not learn much else from the man.

After one year of training from Kakashi, Naruto made Chunin. A year after that, he gained the rank Jounin. And finally, three years after the start of the training from hell, Naruto was one of the ANBU Commanders.

Another thing that changed was his love for the color orange, he still loved the color, but he did not wear it except for when he was off duty and even then, not much. He mostly wore black and red with a little bit of gray mostly because it was his clan's colors. His hair gained red highlights making his highlighter yellow hair turn into a goldish strawberry-blond. He was still short, mostly because of his malnutrition as a child, so he stood at 5'7", not that much shorter than his father who stood at 5'10".

He was given the scrolls from his mother's clan when he made Jounin and three years later is already a seal master of one of the highest caliber, Of course, if there were still more Uzumaki's still alive then he would probably not be anywhere near as advanced as a real Uzumaki seal master. Naruto was still sad about having lost much of his clan history because of the other major villages being afraid of the power and sealing expertise of the Uzumaki's.

"Let's test this out," Naruto said before slowly placing chakra into the seal. Suddenly, the seal paper started to glow and hum, almost like a hummingbird, before exploding, knocking everything back and knocking Naruto out. But the one thing that Naruto felt before passing out was slowly getting smaller, and feeling like he was being pushed through a tight tube.
