(We cut to Royal Woods Middle School, where Lincoln was talking to Clyde, Liam, Rusty, Zach, Stella, Girl Jordan, and Chloe about his big adventure in L.A. with his sisters! He told them about how he and his older sisters stopped the FBI's most wanted, and how he got Luna a gig at TLC!)
Lincoln: I'm telling ya, guys, L.A. rocked! It was the best time of my life, and I got to become Luna's band manager! We even busted the FBI's most wanted!
Liam: (Amazed) Dang, Lincoln! That sounded awesome! It totally beats milking cows on every weekend!
Rusty: (Grumbles) Man, how come you got to go on the cool, crime busting adventure? I was stuck at home, knitting sweaters for my mom!
Lincoln: (Chuckles) Things did happen pretty fast. After Lola, Lana, Lucy, Lisa, and Lily were sent on the wrong plane, me and the others had to act fast on getting them back!
Stella: Still... being captured by criminals... we're just glad you managed to bust them.
Clyde: (Shaken) Y-Yeah, man! I don't wanna lose one of my best buddies!
Lincoln: (Mumbles fearfully) Yeah, the less said about what almost happened to Leni, the better... (Out loud) Don't worry, guys! Us Louds stick together! Speaking of that, Lynn actually did save me when I got captured by one of the criminals! She sent a flying kick to the guy's face and got us to safety!
Girl Jordan: (Touched) That's awesome, Lincoln! Great thing that she had your back!
Liam: Yeah, we didn't want you to be dead meat!
Clyde: (Sniffles) I couldn't imagine life without you, buddy! All black and cruel... nothing would be good!
(Chloe then coughs loudly, catching Clyde's attention! She crosses her arms looking unimpressed)
Clyde: (Chuckles sheepishly) E-Except you, C-Chloe! Y-You... always make everything better!
Chloe: (Smirks a bit) That's what I thought.
(Lincoln looked over to see Lynn chatting with her friends from her football games. Lincoln couldn't help but sigh a bit)
Zach: What's wrong, Lincoln? Did you forget to bring your taco sandwich again?
Lincoln: No... it's just... has Lynn ever hung out with us during school hours here before? Like, just chat with us? She's never done that, even during lunch time.
Stella: No, I don't recall. (Concerned) Is something wrong, Lincoln?
Girl Jordan: (Puts a hand on Lincoln's shoulder) You can always tell us, Linc. It's ok.
Lincoln: (Sighs heavily) Its just... I miss spending time with Lynn sometimes.. I remember how excited she was when I was going to the same school as her, and how she wanted to show me around, and bond with me more. Once I get here, she acts much more different.. like she doesn't want to spend time with me. She barely talks to me, or asks how I'm adjusting here. It's like she was putting on this new face, and acting more aggressive than she usually does. It just makes me feel like she doesn't love me like she should. I thought it would be a good opportunity to spend quality time with her since it's her last year here, but clearly she doesn't acknowledge me enough to make it happen. It makes me feel a bit down.
Chloe: (Sympathetic) Aw, Lincoln. I'm sure Lynn didn't mean to act so aggressive towards you. I did hear she got overexcited about being hall monitor.
Clyde: And she apologized, when you gave her the silent treatment, remember?
Lincoln: I-I know! And I'm not done with her again. It's just... why doesn't she spend that much time with me? I remember a time, where she and I did used to hang out a lot, when I was really little. But now... she hardly gives me much of a glance and she normally just hangs out with her friends and not me. I'm not saying she has to hang out with me all the time. I just want her to show she does like being around me and not treat me like a punching bag.
Liam: (Concerned) Lincoln, how long have you've been thinking about this?
Lincoln: (Sad) Since we got back from L.A.
Rusty: (Confused) But.. didn't she save you back in L.A.?
Lincoln: (Sighs) That's true, she did. But there's other moments that come to mind.. like every morning she steals my breakfast burrito, and then laughs, and runs off. There was also the time we got bullied on the bus, and got all those bruises and wedgies, and she didn't even notice how battered I looked! She always had my back when we were little, and she even said I was her best friend, but then we just... drifted away.
(A couple of tears started to form in Lincoln's eyes, and everyone else couldn't help but feel sorry for him. They all then decided to pile up in a group hug to help comfort him.)
Girl Jordan: (Soothing Lincoln) Lincoln... tell me this... what did Sid say to you, back at Great Lake City?
(Lincoln flashbacked to Sid's words)
Sid: Lincoln... if you really have an issue with Lynn being aggressive, talk it out with her. Let her know how you feel...
(Back to the present)
Lincoln: She said if I have a problem with Lynn being aggressive, then I can just talk it out with her, and tell her how I feel.
Girl Jordan: (Pats him on the back) Right on, Linc. I'm sure if you talk it out with her, she'll understand.
Chloe: (Rubs his back) Yeah, Lincoln. You guys are family, and family always listens to each other no matter what.
Clyde: (Soothing him) Don't be afraid to open up, buddy. Dr. Lopez always said it's best to let the rotten out, then keep it in.
Lincoln: You're... right. (Chuckles) As usual. But... how will I get Lynn to talk? She does have a football game she'll wanna see when she gets home.
Stella: Well, you could-
P.A speaker: Attention, students! The bus drivers have gone on strike... (Annoyed) Again. So all buses will be delayed for the day. Please walk your way home.
(All the students groaned... except Lincoln and his friends. Smiling that this was their big chance to talk to Lynn. We cut to outside the school as Lynn was getting ready to run home for her football game)
Lynn: (Cheers) WOOOO! Cant wait to watch the Lions kick ass on the field! I better get home quick so I can practice my rituals!
(Lincoln and his friends then run outside, and see Lynn stretching her legs preparing to run home.)
Zach: There she is!
Lincoln: (Breaths in) Welp, here goes nothing.
Stella: Hey, Lincoln!
(Lincoln then looked back.)
Stella: (Smiles) Good luck.
Lincoln: (Smiles back) Thanks.
Liam: Your gonna need it, partner. You got this.
(Lincoln nodded back, and ran up to see Lynn who was finishing up her leg stretches and jumping jacks.)
Lincoln: (Approaching his athletic sister) Hey... Lynn? Can we talk?
Lynn: (Doing quick push ups, before jogging in place) Can't talk right now, Stinkoln! I have a Lions game to catch and I can't match them win the championship!
Lincoln: (Worried, knowing this be his only chance to talk to Lynn) Lynn, please! It's quick! I swear!
Lynn: (Annoyed with Lincoln pestering her) I'm not in the mood for your nerd conversation, Lincoln! I have a game to catch! So smell ya later!
(Lynn started to run off, when Lincoln desperately grabbed Lynn's arm! Stopping her as he kept a strong grip on her arm)
Lynn: (Struggling to break free) AH! Dang, Stinkoln! Let me go now, or else I'll-
Lincoln: (Fed up) LYNN!
(Lynn flinched at Lincoln's outburst and her eyes went wide!)
Lincoln: (Getting desperate and emotional) P-please, Lynn! This is exactly why I want to talk to you! It's important! D-don't you c-care a-about m-me?
(Lynn was at a loss of words at Lincoln's mood. She was confused by when he said this is exactly why he wanted to talk to her. The emotional expression on Lincoln's face told her that this was far more important than the game.)
Lynn: (Taken aback by her brother's behavior) L-Lincoln... what's up with you?
Lynn: (Trying to keep his emotions in check) I-I... just wanna talk to you... in the field...
(Lynn, still wondering what was bugging her bro, walked with him to the football field as they sat near the bleachers)
Lynn: (Worried about her brothers abnormal behavior) What's going on with you, bro?
Lincoln: (Breaths in) I know your wondering what this is about, Lynn. I just want to ask you something important.
Lynn: (Confused) S-sure, what is it?
Lincoln: (Sighs) What happened to us, Lynn?
Lynn: (Taken back) W-what do you mean?
Lincoln: (Venting) Don't act like you don't know, Lynn! When we used to be much younger, we used to hang out all the time, like best friends! How you would show me how to play basketball, baseball, and soccer! But then... as we started to grow up, you hardly hung out with me, unless it was to use me as a sparring partner! You and I have hardly bonded all that much together and you usually just seem to see me as an annoyance! Then, when I came to middle school, you bullied me as the hall monitor! Not caring how you treated me or what I was going through! And after that... we hardly speak to each other at school. You hang out with your friends, yet never talk to me. Ask me how my day was or what kind of classes I took. You... just seem to act like I'm not there. You were so excited for me to come to your school. Yet I'm getting the impression you just saw me as a pest and nothing more.
(Lynn was left speechless at what Lincoln said. She had no idea Lincoln felt this way. She then started to feel guilty about how she used Lincoln as a sparring partner, and not spending as much time with him. She still felt horrible about the hall monitor incident. She was stunned and unsure what to say.)
Lynn: (Stunned) L-Lincoln... I-I didn't know... I-I don't think your a pest.. I-I-
Lincoln: (Cutting her off) It's just... I missed all the times we spent together. How we used to talk, play games, watch movies, and more. (Starts to sniffle) I.. I missed my best friend. I missed you, Lynn.
(Lynn felt some tears well up a little. Her heart starting to ache)
Lynn: L-Lincoln... (Trying to keep her tears in) I-I'm a-always h-here! I-I've a-always-
Lincoln: No you haven't! Lynn, we hardly spoken that much, since I came here to middle school! After the hall monitor job, you and I don't speak that much to each other! Maybe a wave every now and then, but you mostly just talk with your friends, while I just hang out with my friend group. (Looks down) You're 14, Lynn. You'll likely be off to high school someday. Which means we'll be so far apart, you'll just forget about me. Even when I become a teenager, you'll never hang out. You'll... (Sheds some tears) Be h-happy t-to see m-me l-leave h-h-h-home...
(Lynn couldn't keep the tears in anymore. They kept pooling out of her eyes. She then strongly hugged her brother! And started to sooth him, while they both sniffled.)
Lynn: (In a motherly tone, spilling tears) L-Lincoln.. N-no! D-don't you ever say that! I-I won't! I want you in my life, Lincoln! (Starts to sob) I-I'M SO SORRY LINCOLN! I SWORE I WAS GONNA CHANGE, BUT I SHAT ON IT AGAIN! I-I was s-so s-sad and s-scared t-to be g-going t-to a-a n-n-new school by m-myself! You had the younger sisters, while Lori had the older ones by her side. It was just me, all alone! I-it was r-really hard without you! I-I got b-b-bullied uncontrollably, a-and I-I c-couldn't take it anymore! I-it h-happened f-for a-almost t-two m-months! I was s-so focused on changing myself! I-I didn't care about anyone else at the time! (Starts to angry with tears) BECAUSE I WAS SELFISH, LINCOLN! MY DAMN EGO KEPT GETTING IN THE WAY! I-I thought I was trying to change myself, so I can stand better, but I was just destroying my relationship with the ones I was close with, w-which w-was y-you.
(After she said that, she buried her face into Lincoln's chest and cried uncontrollably.)
(Lincoln was spilling out tears as he hugged the crying Lynn close to him. He felt his heart ache too. But only because he felt awful that he made Lynn cry again, only much bigger than the last time he told her he had been done with her. He rubbed Lynn's back, letting her cry into his shirt as he started sobbing too. Embracing Lynn as tight as he could. Wanting to make her tears go away and not hurt her again)
Lincoln: (Tearing up) I-I'm sorry, L-Lynn. I didn't want to make you cry again. I was just upset that you weren't spending time with me that I got caught up in my feelings. I don't want to hurt you. I just wish things would go back to the things they were. I-I just w-want u-us to b-be c-close a-again.
Lynn: (Cries) I-I d-do want us to be c-close a-again! B-But... it c-can never happen...
Lincoln: Y-Yes we can, Lynn! (Sniffs) Y-You can come over t-to the l-lunch table I sit at w-with m-my friends a-and-
Lynn: L-Lincoln! I-It's not that simple! I... (Looks down) I've broken our bond b-beyond repair... I-I've treated you so badly... I-I'm unfit to be your b-big sister. A b-big sister is suppose to look o-out for their younger siblings. L-Lori understood that. L-Leni , Luan, and Luna get t-that! T-They've showed you more compassion and love than I-I ever have! T-They hang o-out with y-you and act l-like the b-big sisters t-they were meant t-to be! I-I just bully you a-and use you like a punching bag, o-only to toss you aside! I-I'm... n-nothing more than a jerk, w-who c-can n-never change...
(Lincoln then frowned knowing how regretful and shame Lynn felt. He knew there was something in there that was eating her up for a while. He then knew it was the best time to ask this question.)
Lincoln: Lynn, I gotta ask you something. Why did you act so aggressive to me lately? I know you apologized, but what was the point of all that? Why do you act so rough and tough with me all the time?
Lynn: (Sighs loudly) I-I... was s-scared for you, L-Linc... Middle school was a very scary place for m-me.. I went t-through s-so m-much h-hell.. Everyone kept calling me names, punching me, shoving me into lockers.. d-dunking m-me I-into t-toilets... w-wedgieing m-me.. They even told me I'd never g-get f-far I-in l-life.. It told me I had to act much tougher to survive, and t-to c-change m-myself.. I-i was d-desperate t-to t-toughen you up! (Tears up) B-but I-it j-just r-r-ruined o-our r-relationship!
(Lincoln just kept rubbing Lynn's back. Spilling out more tears. Unsure what to do. Unsure if he could do anything to make her feel better)
Lincoln: L-Lynn... w-why... h-have y-you never t-told me... y-you f-felt this way b-before? C-Couldn't y-you have t-told a teacher? O-Or mom and d-dad?
Lynn: I-I couldn't! H-Half the t-teachers were too lazy, m-mean, or t-too spineless! A-At least the o-ones I-I had... a-and I-I didn't wanna w-worry m-mom a-a-and d-dad. I-I thought this w-was more of a m-me p-problem a-and I-I thought I-I was being a c-crybaby! S-Someone who n-needed t-to g-g-g-grow up!
Lincoln: B-but.. what a-about me? I-I would've wanted to help!
Lynn: N-no Lincoln! It's not that easy! T-they don't c-care about how I-I feel or anyone feels for that matter! N-no one c-c-c-cares about my personal problems! I always get overshadowed by everyone, even in our own family! T-they w-would j-just c-call me w-weak and a b-b-baby! (To Lincoln) Besides, I have no idea how you do it.
Lincoln: (Now confused) Do what?
Lynn: (Growls) Don't give me that dumb shit, Stinkoln! (Now covering her face with embarrassment) E-every time y-you g-get picked on and h-humiliated b-by your peers, you always rub it off and continue to be yourself! Same thing with your gang, you guys always face trouble, yet you guys always win in the end! Y-your a-lot s-s-stronger than me, while I'm just some big fat softie who takes insults to heart! I-i d-don't k-know h-how y-you d-do it, and I r-really e-e-envy you!
(Lincoln was shocked by this new side of Lynn he never saw before. He couldn't take seeing his older sister's depressed state anymore. He removed her hands from her face, and grabbed him closer to him so they were looking each other in the eyes.)
Lincoln: (Firm and developing tears of his own) LYNN! Listen to me! Bullies... are people that only exist to belittle people because they are jealous they can't be who the victims are because they've accomplished far more then them. By embracing who you are, they're gonna leave you be. (Chuckles dryly) Take it from someone who's actually had experience.
Lynn: (Sniffling) B-But...I-I-
Lincoln: (Softly) Lynn, you're a lot tougher then you give yourself credit for. I mean, you won so many baseball games for your team at various games. I mean, you're independent, and while you may think otherwise, you have been caring in the past. And also... do you really think that our family would call you a cry baby? Our siblings did used to have some... not so nice moments in the past. But they have changed a lot since then. And I know they would never mock you for being bullied. Especially if it really affects you.
(Lynn then thought over what Lincoln said and he was right on every step of the word. She has set a lot of accomplishments for herself, and she did know no one in her family could be that heartless to call her a baby, and how she was independent for herself. She then thought over Lincoln's speech and about everything he said. She took in a lot of the bullying, and the same kids who did bully her accepted Lincoln and Clyde at the orientation because they were themselves. Sure, they might of gotten laughed at, but they still accepted them for who they were. Guess being overly tough and rough wasn't it after all. She was sincerely happy she could rely on her sweet and caring brother.)
Lynn: (Sniffs, smiles a little) Y-You're too nice... y-you know that s-stink- I mean, Lincoln?
Lincoln: (Smiles back) Hey, extra kindness can go a long way. That includes you, Lynn.
(Lynn chuckled a little, rubbing her red eyes as she got out the tears)
Lincoln: (Gently) Lynn, you're my sister. Even if you do annoy me with how aggressive you are or when you tease me at times... I'll always love you, no matter what. Nothing will ever change the times we hung out together and when we were always best friends. (Smiles) And I'd like you to be my best friend once more, Lynn.
Lynn: (Grins) You got yourself a bestie, Linc!
(Lynn then hugs her brother with joy and gratitude.)
Lynn: (Gently) I love you so much, Lincoln. Nothing will ever change that. I promise to be a lot more kinder and the best big sister in the whole world, starting now! Thanks for everything, bro.
(Lynn then kissed Lincoln sweetly on the cheek!)
Lincoln: (Rubs his cheek with a smile) Thanks, Lynn. Well, I take it you wanna catch your game. (Gets up) I'll just go and-
Lynn: WAIT! Um... Lincoln... there's something I-I wanna say...
Lincoln: (Giving his nervous looking sister a curious look) What is it?
Lynn: (Shyly rubs her arm) C-can I j-join your g-gang, p-please?
Lincoln: (Genuinely surprised) R-really?
Lynn: (Nervous) Y-yeah. I-I really do want to spend more time with you, and bring those memories back with you.. (Even more nervous) I-I a-also w-want t-to b-b-because...
Lincoln: (Raises an eyebrow) Because why?
Lynn: (Mumbles quietly) I think you guys are pretty cool...
Lincoln: What?
Lynn: (Turning even redder as she continues to mumble) I-I... t-t-t-think y-you guys a-are p-p-pretty c-c-c-cool...
Lincoln: (Starts to smirk, catching on) Maybe you should speak up, Lynn! After all, I can't hear you with all that mumbling!
(Lynn trembled. Her face redder than her jersey. Finally...)
Lynn: (Screaming at the top of her lungs) I THINK YOU AND YOUR FRIENDS ARE THE COOLEST PEOPLE IN THE ENTIRE SCHOOL! YOU'RE ALL SO AWESOME, HOW YOU PICK YOURSELVES BACK UP, EVEN AFTER A BIG SET BACK! I DEEP DOWN ALWAYS WANTED TO JOINNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!
(Lynn's screaming was so loud that it echoed across the whole world! The freaking Earth shook because of it! Lincoln''s friends all heard it and ran over to see where it came from! Lynn then realized what she did and quickly covered her hands to her mouth, fearful that the whole universe heard her, while Lincoln stood there with a smug smile on his face)
Lincoln: (Amused) So that's how you really felt the whole time?
Lynn: (Blushing) Y-yes.. You guys go on so many cool adventures, and always pick yourselves up after a major setback.. and I really envy you guys! You guys always face trouble, and no matter what you always have your heads up! A-and y-your t-the most c-confident, a-a-and I r-really a-a-admire t-that!
Lincoln: (Smiling) Lynn, I can't tell you how much I wanted to hear you say that! I just never thought you'd admit it!
Lynn: (Feeling embarrassed of her outburst) I-It's not easy t-to do, when trying t-to keep a tough r-reputation! I-I... r-r-really hope no one else heard m-me!
Girl Jordan: (heard from afar) Oh, we heard everything, Lynn!
(Lynn then went wide eyed and turned all red! She saw Lincoln's friends walking over to the duo with big smiles on there faces, while Lynn just shrunk in embarrassment.)
Lynn: (Covering her face) P-please don't laugh or mock me!
(The gang just chuckled at Lynn's silly behavior, confusing her!)
Stella: (Chuckles a bit) Oh, Lynn! Don't be so paranoid! We'd love to have you join!
Lynn: (Confused) R-really?
Liam: (Grins) Of course! I mean, after you gave me the chance to play on your baseball team, I thought it be cool for you to join the gang!
Zach: Yeah, man! Tossing us in the lockers aside, you always seemed to be so cool to hang out with!
Rusty: (Smiling) I mean, it would neat to have a fourth girl in our group!
Clyde: And we'd get to hang out more often!
Chloe: (To the stunned Lynn) We'd be happy, if you do wanna join us, Lynn. We promise, we'd always have your back, if you joined our group.
Lynn: (Rubs the back of her head with a shy smile) I would really appreciate that..
Girl Jordan: (Hopeful) What do you say, Lynn? I know we're normally not the type of people you hang out with... but maybe we can finally be closer. Get a chance to bond? Do you... really wanna join us? Cause we'll welcome you with open arms!
(It didn't take Lynn long at all to decide. Right after GJ said that, Lynn had the biggest smile on her face since her wish finally came true.)
Lynn: (Grins) Count me in!
(Everyone cheered as they ran up and gave Lynn a big group hug! Welcoming their fourth girl member into their middle school group!)
Stella: We're so happy to have you on board, Lynn!
Liam: Yeah, trust us! You won't regret it!
Lynn: (Chuckles) Thanks, guys. (Smiles over to Lincoln) I'm glad to have friends like you.
Lincoln: (Smiles, pats Lynn on the back) anytime, Lynn. And now there's only one thing left to do.
Lynn: (Curious) What's that?
(Lincoln suddenly ran past her!)
Lincoln: (Running) I'm gonna beat you to the TV first!
Lynn: (Laughs) Oh no, you don't! That TV is mine, Linc!
(Lynn then darted away to catch up Lincoln)
(The rest of the gang smiled as they watched the pair racing down the street. We soon cut to the two siblings rushing into the house, when Lynn tackled her brother and started to tickle him!)
Lynn: (Smiling) YOU ARE NO MATCH FOR LYNNSANITY, BRO!
Lincoln: (Laughing hysterically) HAHAHAHA! LYNN, QUIT IT!
(Lynn kept smirking as she tickled Lincoln's sides even more! Lincoln, laughing harder, quickly started to tickle Lynn back! Grabbing her and tickling her on the sides of her stomach!)
Lynn: (Laughing and squealing hysterically) HAHAHAHA! NO FAIR, THAT'S MY WEAK SPOT! TRYING TO FIGHT FIRE WITH FIRE, EH!? HAHAHA!
Lincoln: (Laughing) NOT UNTIL YOU SAY I'M THE COOLEST BROTHER IN THE WORLD!
Lynn: (Still laughing and squealing) DIDN'T I ALREADY SAY THAT!?
Lincoln: (Laughing so hard, he cried) Y-YOU SAD MY GROUP W-WERE C-COOL! W-WHAT A-ABOUT M-ME?!
Lynn: (Laughing, while squealing even louder) O-OKAY! O-OKAY! Y-YOU'RE THE BEST BROTHER IN THE WORLDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD!
(The two finally stopped tickling each other as they both panted heavily. Trying to regain their breaths. Lincoln then smiled and hugged Lynn)
Lincoln: (Warmly) I do love you, Lynn. Nothing will ever change that. We may fight at times... but I am glad you are one of my big sisters.
Lynn: (Hugged Lincoln back) And I'm so happy your my lil bro! Not just my lil bro though, my best friend.
Lincoln: (Gladly returning the hug) Always, Lynn. Always will I be your best friend.
(The two kept hugging each other. The rest of the siblings watching from afar as they all smiled at this heartfelt embrace, before leaving the two to have their moment. Happy that after so long... they could be siblings once more)
The End
