AN: So, I watched Truth recently, the first episode in Miraculous season 4, and I was heart-broken for Luka! So, I wanted to rewrite the part that Marinette told Luka that all she couldn't tell him the truth. This is what I think she should've said, and maybe their relationship would still be there because I ship Lukanette and I honestly wouldn't care if Luka and Marinette end up together in the end, because they are adorable together, and Luka is the sweetest person and he's perfect. So- SHOUT OUT TO LUKA FOR BEING THE MOST PERFECT PERSON IN MIRACULOUS! ❤❤❤
"Just tell me the truth, Marinette," Luka said, his hands resting on Marinette's shoulders.
"Truth?" Marinette looked at Luka with sorrowful eyes. "The truth… I've never told anyone the truth. And, trust me, I want to tell, but…"
"Tell me, Marinette, please, I promise I won't judge you," Luka promised. Marinette was shaking.
"I can't tell you, Luka! I can't tell Alya, Nino, Juleka, Adrien, or anyone else! It's been hidden from everyone! And, why? Because I can't tell you or I could put you in danger, Luka! You're too precious for that!" Marinette said.
"I can keep a secret, Marinette," Luka said, as Marinette collapsed into his arms. "It's very clear that it's hurting you, please, Marinette, tell me what's on your mind."
"I can't…" Marinette choked on a sob.
Luka got eye-level with Marinette, dropping down about a head to look at her. "Marinette, whatever it is, I promise, nothing will change between us unless you want it to."
"I just want to be with you, Luka, and I know this secret is hurting you," Marinette sobbed, tears spilling out of her eyes. "Luka- I love you, that's no secret. But- but- I'm afraid to hurt you more than I've already hurt you…"
"The only thing hurting me is the lies, Marinette," Luka said, holding Marinette to his chest.
"Luka- you could get hurt or worse…. I don't want to think about what could happen…"
"Nothing is worse than seeing you hurt."
"Luka…"
"No more excuses, Marinette. Please, just tell me."
"Luka, I- I'm- I'm Ladybug," Marinette practically choked on her words.
"Now, that explains it," Luka said, holding Marinette. "Don't pressure yourself too much, Marinette. You're overwhelmed, you still should ask for help. I'm here for you."
AN: AND CUE THE AKUMA! "Lie, I give you the power to make all your lies real." I'm just kidding, but I can't wait for Lie. This would've been a cute moment and honestly, Luka and Marinette are cuter together to me than Adrien and Marinette!
