(Just to clear things up. I have a male squirrel named Ryan in this chapter who's nickname is Ray-man. Not to be confused with the video game character that I know nothing about.)

Static sighed heavily with delight as he walked pasted his secretary and into his office sporting an extra-large grin. The young female beaver jumped up and followed behind him as he took a seat while he looked up at the celling as he was seemingly daydreaming. The female set a cup of coffee on his desk for him with a small pile of paperwork.

"Is there anything you'd like me to focus on first thing this morning, Mr. Électro?" His young secretary asked as she stood to take her leave.

"YES!" Static sat up excitedly as he looked at her. "Call my floruits and have them send the usual number two selection bouquet to my wife!" Static grinning thinking about his fiancée who he often over eagerly referred to as his lawfully wedded mate. "Have the note say; Sandy, thank you for another amazing morning! I can't wait to hold you in my arms again tonight! Love Stat" Static smiled as if reliving an intimate moment with her.

His secretary nodded while blushing slightly. "Of course, sir." She then took her leave.

Static took a small sip of coffee before pushing back on his chair and spinning around like a child. He was generally in a good mood these days, as Sandy had been his for almost three months now. This morning was a little extra special as she was awake far before his alarm went off and she surprised him with the good morning treat of her riding on top of him. "If only she was my alarm every morning." He continued to grin to himself as he stared, still in a daze, at the high ceiling above him.

"Mr. Électro, there is a Mr. Rayman here to see you." His secretary Rebecca informed him through their intercom system.

Static sat up a little shocked as he wasn't expecting anyone this morning and he didn't think he knew anyone by the name of Rayman. "Send him in." Static pressed a button on his phone to agree to having this unscheduled meeting.

The door to his office bursted open violently as a gray furred squirrel in a fancy suite bust through the with arms spread wide. "Static-the-shocker!"

"Ray-Man!" Static stood up absolutely thrilled to see his old childhood friend. The two men met in the middle of his office and exchanged a hug before throwing a few fake punches at one another. "Rebecca could you get the door?" Static shouted over his friends shoulder.

"Look at you, ya fucking big shot! What an office!" The gray squirrel walked off and opened the blinds on wall sized window in the office. "Damn! Now that's a view!" He looked back and grinned at Static. "Mine might end up being a bit nicer though."

"Don't tell me you actually made it through law school? Ryan Ward a full-fledged attorney… God help us all!" Static teased.

"I just passed the Bar exam a few months back. I took a little break in Europe for a month or two to celebrate. I would have invited you, but I heard you were kinda busy drumming up more business than your company can handle." Ryan laughed as he took notice of Static's office bar. "Do you mind?" The gray squirrel pointed to the bar.

Static shook his head in amusement at his friend. "Help yourself." Static made his way back to his seat and settled in as his friend took a seat on the opposite side of the desk while nursing his drink already. "I'm sure your father is happy you're finally joining the family business."

"MMM!" Ryan held up a finger as he took another sip of his drink. "He is, but it sounds like you've set the bar kinda high as far as expectations go. Thanks for that ass!" Ryan let out a small laugh before diving back into his drink.

"I'm good at bring in business." Static shrugged and pushed back in his chair. "Maybe too good. Dad's been buying up smaller companies left and right to try to get actually skilled people to work for us. Their clients are worthless to us, it's just the skilled manpower we need as I bring in better paying jobs than any of those shitshows could ever have dream of." Static fiddled with a pen in his hand as he watched his friend finish off his drink and get up to make himself another.

"Getting the clients worth milking is the hard part, but you know that." Ryan turned back to look at his friend as he took another large drink. "I'm sure I'll shine, but damn man… you're a fucking magic man."

"Construction, and law services, are a bit different when it comes to a sales pitch." Static sighed as he took a sip of coffee.

"Yes and no." Ryan argued as he took his seat again. "Both require winning over the customer. You have to make them like you and believe what you are telling them. Once they are in and you stay halfway competent, they are easy to keep as long as you know how to keep kissing their ass just the way they like it. We're both in the same game, but just playing on a different sort of board." Ryan grinned largely before finishing his second drink. "We're the salesmen, and we are the real life and blood of our companies. Without us there would be no work, no money, no company."

"Would be nice if all I had to deal with was customers, but being the next in line I get to deal with everything, as you will too, I'm sure." Static grinned mockingly at his friend. "The power is nice though."

"OHHHH, don't I already know it." Ryan leaned over Statics desk at him. "I haven't officially stated yet, but I've already made myself known."

"Such a dick." Static took amusement in Ryan's power-hungry grin.

"I learned from the best." Ryan jested as he picked up one of the framed from Static's desk and looked at it confused. "What the fuck is this?"

Static stood up and grabbed the framed crayon scribble from Ryan's hands as his face went sour. "My son drew that." Static then placed it carefully back on his desk and smiled at it.

"Son?! You knocked a bitch up?" Ryan now howled loudly with laughter. "I thought you were smarter than that, bro!"

"She isn't a bitch; she is my wife." Static barked causing his friend to stop laughing and look at him bewildered.

"You got married? Why wasn't I invited?" Ryan pressed now becoming a bit angry himself.

"Well…" Static stood and tapped his finger on his dark hardwood desk. "We aren't married just yet."

"Sounds like you aren't marrying her just because of the kid." Ryan ran his hand behind his neck a little awkwardly. "Congrats, man."

"Thanks." Static responded still looking down at his desk.

"You got a picture of this hottie?" Ryan started to grin again.

Static handed him another framed picture from his desk. "We just got this family picture taken."

Ryan face went blank after focusing in on the photo. He looked up at Static and then back at the photo. "Static… I uh… Don't kill the messenger, but you might want to get a paternity test."

Static grabbed his photo back from his friend and sat it back on his desk. "The kids are from her previous marriage. But I'm their father now."

"Wow! She must be amazing in bed because I never thought I'd see Static-the-shocker acting like this. I mean, this woman seems to not only have possession of your balls, but also your prostate!"

"Laugh all you want, but I've never been happier." Static now gave his friend a cocky grin.

Ryan stood back up and took the picture back to look at it again. "I guess she is kinda cute." He looked it a while longer as he took his seat again. "You totally got to get her a boob job though." Ryan then handed the photo back to Static and he took it back fully unamused.

"She doesn't need a boob job."

"It wouldn't hurt!" Ryan gave his friend a large taunting grin seeing full well how badly he was pissing him off.

"Fits perfectly in my hand. Much easier to squeeze and get a scream." Static now let a small grin give way again.

"She's got a nice tail." Ryan almost panted. "Definitely jealous about that."

"You have no idea!" Static laughed getting a small thrill from bragging about Sandy. "Oh and her blow jobs…" Static bit his bottom lip as his eyes rolled into the back of his head.

"She gives head? Willingly or only to get something she wants?"

"Willingly." Static bragged. "And she usually lets me have her once I recover later. She seems to get worked up about it."

"WOW." Ryan stood up and now poured himself a glass of water. "I gotta meet this chick."

"I guess you could swing by for dinner tonight at 7:00, but don't you dare hit on her!" Static warned as he walked his friend to the office door.

"Don't worry, bro! I wouldn't want to get in a fist fight with you." Ryan laughed as Static opened the door.

"Oh, it isn't me you should be worried about." Static gave him an ominous grin before shutting the door in his face.
