I own nothing except my OC, Ginny. I'm sorry I haven't updated my Harry Potter fanfic in a while, I kinda... forgot. I'll try and update as soon as I can. Cowabunga dudes! : )
"It's gonna be so awesome!" Hop exclaimed excitedly.
He was bouncing along the path, a huge grin on his face. Victor laughed.
"It's certainly gonna be something. " he muttered.
While they were talking, a girl about 24 approached them. When Hop noticed, he instantly became more excited.
"Hey, maybe this is our first Pokémon battle!" He yelled.
When she got closer, he seemed to deflate slightly.
"Oh, never mind. It's just Ginny."
The girl, Ginny, grinned and ruffled his hair.
"Good to see you too bro. " she laughed, " Hey, you're Victor, right? The gym challenger my brother endorsed?"
Victor nodded.
"Nice to meet you. I'm Ginny, Lee's twin sister."
"And one of the best Pokémon doctors in Galar!" Hop added.
Ginny blushed.
"Not really. You two are trying to catch Pokémon, right?"
"Yeah. We haven't found many yet though." Victor replied.
"I saw a load down in the grass on my way up, think there's even a Pikachu. Now you've got yourselves a team, catching the Pokémon should be a breeze."
"Great! Thanks Gin!" Hop yelled, dashing off.
He suddenly stopped and reversed.
"Hey, we just picked Lee up from Wedgehurst. He's back home if you wanna go say hi." He said, almost as an afterthought.
"Really? I better get going then. Good luck out there!" The 24-year-old said, racing off.
"Her and Leon look so similar!" Victor noted.
"I know, right? They used to switch clothes all the time when they were little, apparently it confused just about everyone. There's a photo of them back home, it's like you're seeing double. "
"Bet a lot of people know about her too."
Hop Shoin his head.
"You'd think they would, but only a handful of people actually do: me, mum, Lee, Sonia and the Gym Leaders. Gin prefers the shadows, which surprises a lot of people. She's got a pretty strong team though; I've seen her and Lee battle before. She came pretty close to beating him. "
While Hop was talking, Victor spotted a couple of wild Pokémon walking out in front of them. He nudged the ten-year-old next to him, and gestured to the Pokémon.
"Oh, sweet, a battle!" Hop exclaimed.
He pulled a Pokéball out of his bag and threw it on the floor. His Wooloo emerged, ready for battle. Victor released his Grookey, and the two began to battle.
