Chapter 1:

In a small apartment located in Musutafu, Japan; we see a young messy green haired girl who goes by the name of Izumi Midoriya wearing a white t-shirt with the words 'T-shirt' written in plain letters and black shorts sprawled across her bed as one of her arms dangled off the side. Covering the walls of the room, bookshelves of figurines lined up one after the other of heroes while posters of a blonde haired man with a muscle defined physique build smiling from ear to ear covered the walls of the room. A slight mumble could be heard from Izumi as she continued to lay on top of her bed.

"Why yes All might i do seem to be putting on some weight thanks for noticing..". Izumi mumbled in her sleep as she started to drool a bit. Overall it was quite peaceful for young Izumi... Until the phone rang.

"I AM HERE" blared from her phone lying on the desk next to her bed, startling the young girl and causing her to fall off the bed. she groaned a bit having fallen face first onto the cold wooden floor of her room as she picked herself up off the floor looking for her phone as it continued to play the sound "I am here" . Izumi gave out a yawn before picking up the phone and answering.

"Hello?"

"Izu-chan! where are you?" Cried out the voice from the phone.

"H-huh? Ochaco, what is it? Isn't it a little early for you to be calling before school?"

"Izumi It's 40 minutes before homeroom bell rings! I thought you said we're gonna meet up before class started?"

...Eh?

The green haired girl removed the phone from her ear before checking the time on her screen. 8:10 AM

"EEEEEEEHHHHHHHHH!?"

"... You just woke up haven't you?" asked the voice.

Izumi's eyes started to dart around her room as she now noticed that one light was leaking from behind her curtains and two her alarm clock.. was smashed into pieces. 'HOW DID I BREAK ANOTHER ONE' Internally screaming for a couple seconds before she brought the phone back up to her ear.

"I'm so sorry Ochaco-chan I slept in by accident! I'll meet you at school!"

with that she hung up her phone as she raced around her room to get ready.

5 minutes it took her to put on her uniform and race out the door of her apartment with her bag in hand, setting a new record of getting ready. She wondered why her mom didn't wake her up to get ready in which she found the answer to in a note on the kitchen table saying she was called in to work early morning. She made a mad run to the nearby train station hoping to catch the next train to take her to U.A. Through the streets, onlookers watched as a green haired girl rushed past them as wind blew behind her from how fast she was going. People would think it's reckless for the girl to be using her quirk in public like that but this was no quirk. This was Panic running she likes to call it and she was damn good at it as she did not want to be late for the first day back to school from summer break. Having no time to apologize to the people she ran past she saw her destination in sight as the musutafu train station came into view and she smiled.'I make it to class if i make the next train at 8:25, i can be at the school gates by 8:40 and then i can meet up with Ururaka-san and talk with her beforehand...' she thought as came up to the entrance to the station... only to find it closed. The girl's mind started to scream.

Izumi saw the yellow tape blocking off the any attempts to enter the station as a banner overhead saying 'closed for maintenance' written in big black Kanji.

'As if this couldn't get any worse' she thought. 'WHY DID IT HAVE TO BE NOW MY LUCK IS TERRIBLE'. Izumi turned around and started jogging down the street from the station and tried formulating another plan to get to school.

"Ok the nearest train station is 20 minutes away, but I still won't make it in time for homeroom cause the train takes 15 minutes to get to U.A but if I run there now i can make it there in 10, if I use one for all i can cut it down to 5ifpossiblebutthenthatwouldbemisueofquirkinpublicandican'tdothat..." she started rambling, this was an ongoing thing the young teen did throughout her entire life and how it creeped people around the girl who had to listen to it. Unbeknownst to the girl, a boy with black hair was seen walking out of a coffee shop looking down at his phone as he finished his drink before tossing it into a nearby trashcan.

Both of them unaware of one another started to moving closer towards each other without neither of them realizing and well... you know what happens next.

(Izumi)

"there has to be a faster-off!" cut off mid mumble as i felt my collide with something and fall back on the ground landing on my rump. i looked up that i haven't ran into something and that someone was also knocked to the ground. 'oh crap, oh crap, oh crap' i started to think and close my eyes.

"I'm so sorry! i wasn't paying attention, you see I'm running late for school and the train station near my house is closed and now i'mtryingtomakeittotheotherstationand-"

"Hey its fine, you good?" I heard the guy asked stopping me from continuing on to ramble. I opened my eyes to find the guy i ran into looking at me like i was a homeless person caught rummaging through a dumpster.

I get a good look at him and start to take in his features. The man was wearing a grey collared shirt with a long sleeve black undershirt and dark long pants. Looking up at his face, i noticed he had amber colored eyes that reminded me of honey, on top he had bit of messy black hair with the back end tied back into short ponytail. he was kinda cute.

"I said are you good?"

"h-huh? oh i mean yes i'm alright" I responded back. picking myself up off the ground i offered my hand towards him and he accepted it with his own as i hoisted him back up. Back on his feet, the man actually was taller than me by a good mere inches almost a half a foot taller than me.

"Like I was saying I'm sorry for all this, I'm just rushing to get to a train station to get to school" I said bowing slightly in apologizing manner.
The guy simply waved it off and smiled a bit.

"Thats understandable, I would too be worried about getting late to class. But hate to tell ya this if you looking to go to the station thats over in the next plaza, that ones closed down as well." He said. I felt an imaginary arrow go through my chest causing me to stumble in place as i heard the words leave his mouth. 'I guess it can get worse.'. He must've noticed my mood dropping from my reaction.

"Hmm, wait that uniform you have on... You go to U.A right?" I heard him ask.

I nodded sadly.

He pulled his phone and started typing on it before looking up in surprise.

"you know... if its alright with you, I can give you a ride if you are in a hurry its actually in the direction i need to go". he asked

I looked up to him in surprise and started to wave my hands in front and shake my head at him. 'We just met and he's offering me a ride!'
"No no no, I couldn't! as much as that would be nice; its just to much of you to help me out and its my fault for being late in the first place!" I quickly retorted. Is he serious right now?

I heard him chuckle a bit. "I don't mind, its a Hero's job to help people out when they can right plus didn't you say you were in a hurry?"

"A Hero's job?... does that mean you're a hero course student as well? What school do you go to? " I asked getting excited to meet another hero in training from another school .

"Yes I am! I go to Ketsubutsu Academy, so that means you are a fellow hero course student as well. not to mention you are part of U.A's Hero Course. actually but before we get into a whole conversation on hero course stuff, don't you have school to get to?"

I blinked a couple times before I panicked slightly and pulled out my phone to check the time. 8:33 it read.

I sighed knowing i wasn't gonna make it time by train now.

"Judging by your reaction I'm guessing you are considering my offer of that ride now huh?"

i nodded before looking up to him. "If its not too much to ask, It just seems out of the ordinary to offer someone a ride when they just met, plus im a little bit cautious even if im running late"

His eyes widened in realization "Wait nononono,please, I'm not trying to be a creep or anything I just want to help out a fellow hero course. Just lending out a helping hand." he told me.

"Umm. alright then, I accept your help then"

He grinned in response. "Great! follow me, my rides parked on the corner"

He motions for me to follow as he leads me to the end of the block. Soon as we turn the corner and I get a look at his "ride". I hear him call out as a leather black jacket is caught in my hands.

"Here put this on, its gonna get windy on the way there".

With that said, an engine could be heard roaring to life

'Mom, All Might, Ochaco. Help'

"Where is she? she's gonna be late" Outside the gates of U.A three students were seen waiting for the last member of their little friend group. Here we see a young brown haired girl with rosy cheeks that goes by the name of Ochaco Ururaka pacing herself in front of the gate, while the other two were simply watch the girl walk back and forth. she pulled out her phone to check the time. 8:46

"We have less than 5 minutes until the bell for homeroom rings, its highly unusual for Midoriya to be late like this" Said a tall spectacled teen boy that goes by the name of Tenya Iida.
"She's probably running all the way here, Its not the first time Izumi slept in and got tardy to class, kero" A long dark green haired girl responded.

"Still she's gonna be late on the first day back of school! we are just starting back as second years from break now. What if she ran into a villain and got sidetracked!"
"Ururaka I must say that it is highly unlikely for such a thing to occur"

"But it is Midoriya, knowing her luck she probably did run into a villain"

"Tsuyu thats not helping"

"kero" was all she got in reply. Ochaco began to worry for the class's residential cinnamon bun messy green haired girl aka her best friend.
"If anything happens to her, I'm going on a rampage through the city!" She exclaimed. Just then, the three students were brought out of their thoughts as a engine roared in the distance. All three U.A students turned towards the sound and saw a motorcycle pulling up towards them, at first they paid little attention to it until they noticed a mess of green hair on the person riding on the back of it. To say the trio was surprised by the sudden appearance but were even more shocked to find out that on the back of the two wheeled vehicle was their friend Izumi. As the motorcycle came to a stop in front of them. They saw the person driving the motorcycle wearing a helmet with Grey collared shirt as Izumi hopped off the bike wearing a black leather jacket little bit shaken but calmed down as she realized she was in front of her school and just before the bell was going to ring.
"Izu-chan!" she heard her name being called as a body came into contact with her. Arms wrapped around her as she returned the hug with a smile.

"Sorry I'm late Ocha! how have you been?" she asked
"Nevermind me, why are you late? Did you run into a villain? What are you wearing? Also who's he?"

The man took off his helmet and gave the U.A Students a peace sign.

"Yo"

Izumi left the hug as she quickly remembered the person helped her make it to school in time was still behind her.

"Oh um he's someone I ran into today and offered to take me to school because i was running late and the train stations were closed down! Oh and this is a jacket he leant me to protect me from the wind and no I didn't run into any villains, by the way he's..." she paused

"Actually I never asked you for your name in the first place umm"

The boy's widened in surprise to the fact that they had never introduced themselves to each other and rubbed the back of his neck in embarassement.

"Oh I never really introduced myself when we met. The name's Yoshi, Yoshi Reyes. I never got your name either" he introduced himself. She smiled at the boy named Yoshi who saved her behind from being tardy on the first day back.
"Well thank you again for the ride Reyes-san, i-if anything i forgot to introduce myself as well. My name is I-" A sound of a bell was heard as the four U.A students looked up to the school.
"Thats the bell for Homeroom, quickly we must go if we wish not to be late for class!" Said Tenya.

"Right! Come on Izumi we gotta go!" Ochaco added before grabbing Izumi's hand and pulling her towards the school.
"A-ah Ururaka! Wait a sec... Oh" she was pulled along by the brown haired girl as Tsuyu followed behind and Tenya leading the way to class. She looked back at Yoshi who was waving goodbye at her.
She smiled and started waving back "Thank you again Reyes-San for the ride, I hope we can meet again someday!" She called out to him as she dissappeared into the main building.

Yoshi Smiled at the girl and smirked a bit as the green haired girl's friend was dragging her away. 'Her names Izumi huh, that name sounds familiar'

He started the the engine of his bike but as he was about to leave he forgot one small thing.

"... She still has my jacket. Ah shiitake mushrooms" he groaned.

'Well maybe one day she will return it back. Hopefully' he thought as he put back on his helmet and drove off in the direction of his own school.

Half the class was giving her looks. Scratch that almost everyone in the class was giving her looks.

'Why is everyone giving me looks? did i forget something? Do I smell bad!?'

"Yo Midoriya" Izumi was brought out of her thoughts as she looked to her right as Kaminari called her name. She looked up to the electric blonde as he stared at her.

"Has Jirou been giving you fashion tips? if so I don't know if shes the best one to get help from" He said. Immediately after he was jabbed in the neck by one of Jirou's earjacks for the joke.

"Can it Jamming-whey! but seriously not to say Im not digging the leather jacket, it's just so ... weird seeing you out of all people copying my hero look"

"...huh" She looked around a bit before looking down and sure enough she was still wearing the leather jacket that Yoshi Reyes gave her to wear on their way to her school. 'Crap crap crap crap! i forgot to give it back to him! did i just steal his jacket! am I a criminal now? oh no i took something that probably meant alot to him'. she began mentally scolding herself for forgetting something like giving back his jacket but Ururaka never let her have a chance to as she dragged her all the way up to class. Then she shivered as she felt two pairs of eyes pierce into her. she looked around and noticed two people were staring at her suspiciously. Those eyes belonged to the class's residential pinkette Mina Ashido and the other girl who nobody can see where she is looking for the fact that she's invisible; Toru Hagakure. She started to sweat drop immensely knowing that the two gossip girls of the class are capable of when they catch whiff of the slightest drama or rumors.
"O-oh this um I just thought maybe a nice change was good and wanted your opinion on it but i forgot i still had it on to be honest, Kyoka-san" she replied shyly.

Jirou eyed her before nodding and smiling at the greenette "totally is a nice look on you Midoriya, its nice to know someone has similar taste in clothing" The rest of the class seemed somewhat satisfied with her response and started to pay attention to their own conversations. 'That was close, couldn't let them figure out who's this actually belongs to' she thought as she rested her head on her hand. 'at least nothing else will happen today'...

But of course you are always wrong Izumi Midoriya.

"Midoriya, isn't that the jacket from the guy who dropped you off this morning Kero?"

Her head hit the desk. Suddenly all eyes were on her again as two certain pairs of eyes lit up like christmas lights at Asui's words.

"Tsuyu!" cried Midoriya.

"A BOY YOU SAY!?" Screamed Mina as her and Toru raced towards Izumi's desk and slamming their hands down on it.

"Do my ears deceive me? or does our local cimmanon roll have a boyfriend"

"I do believe i heard Asui right and hear that Izumi-chan was with a boy this morning and gave her a ride to school, Mina!"

Izumi's face began to turn a bright red color as she waved her hands in front of her face. "i-its n-not like that Yoshi-san was just being a kind person and saw i n-needed a ride to school b-before i was late to homeroom!"

"So his name is Yoshi, huh? Is he cute? where did you two meet? have you kissed yet huh? TELL US GIRL TELL US EVERYTHING" Mina put her hands on Izumi's shoulders and shook the poor girl as her eyes lit up as she and Toru interrogated the girl in question.
