When the virus started spreading Carmichael Industries stopped all travel out of the country. The company did lose money while it was shifting its interest somewhere else but the CI were adamant. When the first case was identified in the State, they immediately started the process of switching to the work from home model. In this they were the first to implement it by the end of that month. So, when the government announced nationwide quarantining, they were not only prepared, but able to immediately do so. All that remains was for the Bartowskis to decide where they would quarantine.

Chuck started, 'Ok, Ellie and Devon have decided, if we're taking the kids, they will stay in a hotel between shifts, close to their hospital.'

'And mum said she would not mind staying with us if it would not bother us?' Sarah points out.

Chuck instantly responded, 'Bother us? With three more kids underfoot, her help would be a godsend.'

'Even if her coming mean one more kid?' Sarah asked looking concerned.

'As that kid is older and can be roped in babysitting also? No!' Chuck riposted.

Smiling Sarah ask another question 'And your mum? Is she coming also?'

'Only if we all stay at the island. As she can go in her cottage for privacy.' Chuck chuckled.

Sarah still smiling noted 'So, that's one vote for the island. And we know If we ask the kids it`ll be a universal yes for the island.'

'Let's count their votes as one then, as they outnumber us by a wide margin. So mum is one, the kids two. Now its down to us, what will be easier for us?' Chuck question her looking at her expectantly.

Getting serious Sarah ponder for a moment 'They will be entertained from morning till night, that's a pro.'

Chuck replied 'A con is that it won't be Easter forever. Sooner or later class will start and I don't think the island is the place to be for remote school learning. Too many distractions, even I have trouble concentrating on work when I'm there.'

Smirking Sarah replied 'That's because you're an adult in name only.'

Trying and failing to look offended Chuck put a hand on his torso riposted 'Ouch! Joking aside if we can convince Carina and Alejandro, along with Zondra and Shawn, we`ll have more adults to coral the kids.'

Gazing at him with affection she replied 'Along with two more kids to add to the horde. Why don't we invite Morgan and Alex to round it up with their two kids so that they all think summer has come early?'

'Too cold for summer!' Chuck joke back looking with a sad face.

'Ah, ah! Sarah shot back. Seriously though with all of us there, the kids would have distraction & we`ll have the entire property to roam so we'll not suffer cabin fever.'

'That's a good point, Chuck muse back. And with all of us there except for my sister & Awesome we'll all have plenty of company so we don't lack social interaction.'

'That's for you, Sarah said chuckling. You're the one who'll get sick if he spends two days without seeing people.'

Smiling back, Chuck tactically agrees 'So, its settled then, we will relocate to the island for the duration of the quarantine?'

Sarah nodded 'Yes. I'll start calling the others.'

'And I will talk to Gloria and Merida (the au-pair & housekeeper) about what they want to do.' Chuck answer back as he walks away.

Soon enough, everyone were appraised and had enthusiastically agreed. The island was one of the many islands that littered the coast of Southern California. Both Alejandro and Shawn families had properties on the same island. When Chuck and Sarah were gifted almost a billion dollars, they contacted Shawn who was funnily enough the older brother of one of Chuck's frat mates, and a financial advisor for a large brokerage firm that handle agents & the assets in less than legal jobs on the southern part of the west coast. Consequently, after buying everything to make CI a successful and competitive security company, then setting their personal money and the business, he advised them to invest in personal real estate. So, after their apartment building in Echo Park, he got them to buy a huge property bracketing his and Alejandro family on the island. Because of his heeded advice, when Decker froze the bank account of CI, they were not as desperate as they could have been. And because of him, when Decker was killed by Gertrude Verbanski, and an investigation opened on his dirty dealing, CI was awarded back their money plus damages for a false seizure of their funds. When Chuck met Molly and Emma, and after dealing with the memory problems, the Bartowskis along with the Woodcombs decided to go on three weeks vacation, inviting the maternal grandma with auntie, Emma and Molly along for the ride.

To prepare to entertain a toddler and preschooler, Chuck designed and commissioned a private water park, with slides, lazy river, underground pirate cove with its own mini waterfall and swimming pools, plus fake crocodiles and sharks, zip line, and water canon in unexpected part. They of course couldn't enjoy it fully yet, but it was a gift they would grow into and be a blast as well for the adults as well as the kids that would come after.

While it was being built, Chuck added the less ambitious jungle gym for the kids, and when Sarah and Awesome heard, for adults also. Not content to rest on his laurel, he designed a one-mile dirt bike and ATV track.

If that wasn't enough, there was the sea, and the beach for them to have fun. All in all, it was a summertime paradise for little ones, as well as adults.

When Carina and later Zondra unexpectedly got involved with Alejandro and Shawn respectively, they upgraded the attractions to cover all three of their properties, making it a respectable small park that now all the children (as well as themselves) in the families enjoy anytime they have times off. Subsequently, with the quarantine, & not knowing when it would be lifted, as well as it being private, it was the perfect place for the families to bunker down & be together.

I took for various place for this. The first, is real live, plenty of families who before that were talking about moving to bigger backyard, closer to nature, hadn't done it for one reason or the others, took the plunge last year. For the mini waterpark, I was researching when I saw this video Photos: Mansions with backyard water parks and insane pools ( ) of people famous & otherwise having their own private waterpark at their own a la Richie Rich. For the jungle gym, my inspiration for that was the scene in Spy Kids 1 Spy Kids 1 Part 1 - YouTube (the part I'm talking about start at 8:50) were Carmen & Juni had to run a jungle gym as exercise/training every morning before school. The bike track, I saw it on an online story I'm reading built one for his seven years old nephew
